She refused an Uber, so I had no idea how to help until I found Dr. Hamilton, a mobile chiropractor. So, a whole two appointments behind and no apology or explanation. I gave up 15 minutes after that point and just left. If this doctor isn't going to respect my time, they aren't for me. I guarantee that I'd have billed and rescheduled if I were more than 10-15 minutes late but I'm supposed to wait more than an hour for my appointment? No thank you!

He listens and understands me/my condition. I truly believe he cares for patients. I've seen many chiropractors and never met a chiropractor like Dr. Gamboa. My first visit to him, I was in severe pain. I couldn't sleep and focus well, felt so negative about everything, and felt depressed for months because of the pain. I also couldn't walk right and it was so hard for me to sit or lay down. Anyway I was in severe back pain spasms etc . I ran into the acupuncture Sang Han who works in this office, small house. At first he seemed interested but asked if I had insurance I said yes and showed him my card. He made copies all the while I was standing there in shear pain. He told me that I could come in on the Thursday at 11:00am . It was better than nothing I had at least an appointment even though no one else was around. Just him and I. Will get back to him later. The next day I came back to the office as this place was recommended by a colleague, I saw the receptionist/ secretary/office manager person and she saw that I was in bad pain but asked Me if I had insurance and I gave her the card, she checked it out and also made a copy. I then had to fill out several forms, I was in so much pain that I couldn't sit down and had to stand . I went back see Jennifer Stevens the chiropractor and she asked me questions , then put an electrical pulse pads on my lower back and left me alone for several minutes while she attended someone else? She then tried to adjust me and was clearly struggling and had to put a board between me and the bed/table. I then went to Leave still in pain and the office manager person told me the copay bill was $77.40, now I have highly rated insurance which is a PPO and my copay is $25. I told her that but was in so much pain and did not want to argue even though I attempted to explain. I went home still in extremely severe pain. The next day the acupuncture man texted me and told me that my copay was $25 at least he got that part right but later texted me changing my appointment and told me that I had to pay a $35 administrative fee on top of my copay. I texted back being curious and he said it was because he had to do paperwork. Isn't that what healthcare is in America? Anyway it was at that point That I called my insurance company as I was getting rather suspicious. They told me there is no administrative fee , I then told him and he cancelled me? Wow! Go figure. I then called the insurance company back and asked Them about the $77.40 and we immediately had a three way conversation, I was mainly listening as the insurance rep was explaining to The office person/receptionist/girl that it is $25 a visit copay that's it period. She said that they will give me credit on my Next visit. I called her back shortly after some thought as to how this center was just money driven and not Even caring about patients to cancel. She said they would send me a check For the difference. It had been over a month and I have not seen a dime or been given an apology or how are you feeling? I ended up going to see another chiropractor in the village who was 100% more sympathetic to his patients and not just about a money grab like the Carlsbad Chiropractic Center. Choice wisely people as there are quality chiropractors in the village that really care about their patients.

They go above and beyond whenever we have questions on our health insurance and really do their best to explain things fully and clearly. Hubby and I both come. We've only done the chiropractic services (although I believe there are also acupuncture and massage services also offered), but we would definitely recommend it! The office is only open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but they have always been super awesome at fitting us in and making our appointments work within our schedules.
