Picks & chooses service calls sometimes especially If it's too late in the day or too far to tow to, which I guess it was too busy at around 17:32 as there aren't enough people to service that areas dispatch requests from AAA?? I tried to understand exactly why I had to sit in my car in 86 degrees stranded for over 7 hours, especially If your so short handed & you can't meet the needs of the area for out of town folk like myself. Then, someone should sub contract or look for more realistic options for to meet customer needs?! AAA called 6 companies were called & one independent showed up finally around 11Pm. Thank goodness because I may have had to sleep in my car until the AM, when Carl said he'd be able to tow me 69miles home. If your a 24hr Tow company then I want to cancel your contra with AAA, because you left me along side a Hwy because you didn't want to do it. I think AAA doesn't pay well & that affects your motivation to help others in dire need of assistance. I'm sorry, but I'm irritated that you won't answer my sincere questions to help understand why you are the preferred tow company in that area, when you left me hangin?? Hmmm. It must be nice to think your the best tow provider versus actually being the best; in your own mind that doesn't count so much in the real world of service work. I had to pick up a friends motorcycle from impound. I talked with two separate drivers. Both were very helpful and professional. Then came time to pick the bike up. I called to make sure the fax went through, for the release of interest. The woman who I spoke to was rude and unprofessional . When I arrived to pick up the the bike the same woman was again rude and unprofessional . The driver was professional and helped me load the motorcycle. Wow! Blown away by this level of service and kindness. I called Carl at 4:30pm on a busy 90degree Saturday for help with our travel trailer. He was nice on the phone and genuinely tried to help me figure out what to do. He was nearby so he just stopped in at the auto parts store where my husband was buying parts! We are from out of town with minimal tools so he brought us back to his shop and helped us prep the part to repair our wheel. All at no charge. We MADE him take some money. Great place. If my husband can't fix our wheel then we'll call them for towing services for sure. read more

Needed a motorhome towed. Called on Sunday and was told they couldn't do it because Carl wasn't available until Monday. Called again on Monday morning and was told I had to wait and talk to Carl. I asked when that would be and was told sometime between 8 and 9:30. I asked if they could narrow it down and was told he's the owner and can come in when he wants. Same guy on both phone calls and really didn't care if they got my business or not. Budget Towing did want my business and I will use them in the future. Carl's Towing Sucks! read more

My husband was in a rush and accidentally put a few gallons on unleaded in our diesel truck. Not sure what to do he called Carl's Towing. Carl himself came by and hooked up the truck and towed it to where we could drain the unleaded, a few buck down the drain literally. Then hook us up to get back to the gas station so we could fill up with diesel. If he wouldn't have had such a quick response time it would have ended up with us losing thousands of dollars. I agree with Carlos, Kyle and Randall, as stated on Google Reviews, not a customer service friendly business, this guy is all about the money, trust me. I phone the day after Thanksgiving as we had discussed to come in and pay for the tow, he stated "he was closed" could I come back Monday. Come in Monday to pay he cannot take cash and a debit card, he can only accept one form of payment? Why, are you so incompetent that you can't figure out how to add the two forms of payment? Mind you, I have already signed over the title to the car, which we know he will collect something on that, plus the tow and storage fee, greed is not a good characteristic. Look elsewhere, call anyone else, call a friend if you need a tow. Not to mention, Carl might just need a serious attitude adjustment, with his condescending attitude, I would definitely take my business elsewhere. Deceptive and disappointing. Late Sunday afternoon, a man and his 98-year old mother called Carl's Towing via AAA two hours ahead of time to arrange for a tow from curbside outside a shop, gave the shop name and address, and the tow was confirmed. We headed out to the location where the vehicle was broken down, almost an hour away. They had said to call also when we were almost there, so we called 15 minutes before arrival as agreed and was confirmed once again. We called at arrival when waiting at the site and was told "We can't tow from the curb outside a shop without the owner's consent". Fortunately, the owner was standing there and took the phone and verified everything to Carl's satisfaction. Then Carl's sheepishly added " Well....... we don't have anyone available to come anyway." After an hour of reporting to AAA, they said they could not verify shop ownership to validate the tow without calling a number affiliated with the shop by Googling the shop name. So the owner waited in his office, they called his number and verified once again that they were authorized to have the vehicle towed. After two hours and the the second verification, Carl's Towing still would not come and perform what they had agreed to, and at this moment the son and 98-year-old are still waiting outside. Carl's should not be half as concerned about the 200-pound weight-lifting son as they should about Grandma, because s h e I s p I s s e d. And this is not a joke. read more
