It's ridiculous how expensive Carl's Jr is compared to other fast food establishments. This might explain why it's always empty. I'm going to have to use the coupons that get mailed to my sister's address. I was surprised to see in the app that the cheeseburger is $2.08 and the hamburger is $2.73. How the hell is a hamburger more expensive? I'll upload the screen shot I took. I recently placed an order for a cheeseburger and they didn't add cheese. They said on their screen it said hamburger. I showed them my order in the app and it said cheeseburger. They took my hamburger and slapped a slice of cheese on it. Take advantage of this deal before it gone lol read more

Carl's Jr - Cheeseburger is cheaper than the hamburger - Burgers Near Me - Oakland, California

Well, well, well it's been forever since I had eaten Carl's Jr.. I was eating this place, but not in this location. I believe more farther in Los Angeles when I was a teenage girl and I couldn't remember how it even taste like if it tasted good or if it tasted bad but ever since I had it again last week for the first time in forever, the food was really good. The onion rings were amazing. The service was really great and everything was just good about it. I'm gonna go back to eat there one more time read more

Carl's Jr - The big Carl - Burgers Near Me - Oakland, California

My husband ordered through the drive through , he drove home , when he was about to eat his burger , it was a big long hair sticking out , and it was all the way in the burger , so nasty. We drove all the way back. The Hispanic lady in the front with black hair didn't even bother giving him a full meal . Just replaced the burger . They gave him the burger in the same bag he brought the other burger back . Such a miserable customer service. All the girls/women not wearing hair nets . Unsanitary. Needs to be shut down read more

This establishment sells trash to people. Absolutely not worth it. Food is disgusting and I get a sense that the workers are not considerate of peoples orders. I payed $25 for shitty tenders shitty waffle fries and shitty union rings. The cherry on top was no even adding my dipping sauces into the sealed bag they handed me. It was my fault to forget to ask for my drink too! I didn't realize it until I made it home. Never again. read more

I have had to walk out of this Carl's Jr twice because of pricing. $17.30 for a fish sandwich combo is crazy. The Diablo Fries are $5.99 and at the one in Hayward they are $3.49. read more

Went around 12:30pm on a weekday and it wasn't too busy. Even with four cars in front of me, I got through the drive-thru in under 10 minutes! Food was well-made and neatly wrapped. $7 seems pretty steep for a plain bacon cheeseburger, wish there was a value menu. read more

Went into the location with a coupon for a El Diablo burger. At first the lady thar was behind the counter thought that I came in with an expired coupon, I corrected her and told her that it was not expired. She then handed the coupon over to another worker. That worker attempted to use the coupon code . She told me that she has never seen a coupon for the El Diablo . She attempted to put in the code, she told me that the coupon was not working, and that the computer was not taking the coupon. She then took a picture of the coupon and supposedly sent it to her manager. She then proceeds to call the manager, the manager did not answer. I truly felt that my intelligence was insulted. Why would I come in with a fake coupon. read more

I love that Carls Jr is so close to my house, personally I think thier burgers are far better than any other fast food chain. I generally do not eat fast food butmy Jody does (no judgement) this specific Carls Jr just opened. Customer service is good. The food is pretty good, the location is not. What really holds it back is the service. The people who work here are polite but the food comes slow, like really slow. If you're not in a rush, it's probably fine. Not recommended for lunch on a busy workday, though. read more

Repeated my order back to me, I get home ,and they still got it wrong !!!thanks for nothing

Couple months ago I drove past the Foodsco parking lot up on Foothill and saw a new Carl's Jr had opened. Made a note as I do occasionally do enjoy a Western Bacon Cheese Burger. Today was driving back into town from north, was hungry, remembered the new carl's and went there for the burger, BIG FRICKEN MISTAKE, BEWARE !!!! Apparently the youthful staff there were unhappy working and decided to sabotage the customer's meal. CONGRATULATIONS, got my order, drove home, ate my burger, drank my drink and then discovered a large piece of hairy, solid mucous (snot) in my drink cup. WOW, enough said, obviously it has upset my stomach and has set me on a course to do damage to this joint. I am quick to praise and hold a grudge. Therefore be forewarned, I will do everything in my power to honestly stop anyone from patronizing this business. Unless you like foreign substances being placed in your food, paid for with your hard earned dollars, targeted to make you both disgusted and ill, DO NOT EVEN GET CLOSE TO THIS JOINT. Next stop BBB, Health Dept, Corporate HQ and the media, written, audible, video and all contemporary modes. read more

The food is good. It's the service that gets one star. I don't know how they do it, but they can't seem to get a 5 item order right. It's quite amazing really. The order prints up on the drive thru display, then again on the receipt. It goes through the person taking the order, the chef, the person bagging the order, and, again - supposedly - through the person at the window. That's 4 people. Each with a display in their face with 5 ITEMS LISTED! What's the excuse! There was one person in line ahead of me! No one was rushed! How do you omit one out of five items? That 20%! I have no idea what is wrong with the management for not paying or training people enough to do simple due diligence and double check a 5 item order, but, from now on, if and when I might go back, now I have to double check my own order. Apparently, their super high priced items don't afford them the luxury of hiring and training a competent staff, so, if you go there be forewarned and prepared to do your own due diligence, and, to do it for free at no discount. Oh, and for reference, this is the second time they screwed up in one month. I was going to let the first time go, but, I've only been there 3 times this month and that means they got 1 out of 3 right. read more

they are actually pretty nice in there and although they look bored they are quick with service and they have a clean establishment. i only go back if the customer service is great and i can say they have always been kind and my order is always right . read more

I just went there tonight ordered a Super with extra cheese and a large coke. $15.00. A little expensive but I have always liked Carls Jr burgers (when they are cooked properly). The order came out lightening speed, so I was a little concerned. I open the bag in the parking lot and out the burger. The meat was completely dry. What a majorly disappointment. I took it back to the drive window, because the inside was closed. I told the person about the burger and asked for my money back because I just don't trust someone I returned a burger to. Well the worker dumped the money in my hand and slammed the window like I did something wrong. What is wrong with fast food restaurants these days, and for customer service everywhere for that matter. I worked at CJs as a kid and would have been fired for behavior like that. We never would have served someone dry meat. People work hard for their money and at the end of the day don't want to eat dry meat. Come on restaurant owner where's your pride? Make a good burger and the money will come. Until then stay away from this CJs. read more

I work at Ross right in front of Carl's. And I absolutely love this Carl's in particular due to the Customer service, and the cleanliness. I always get my food before my 15 min break is over.. This Carl's Jr. was one of the cleanest I have ever been to! The employees were all very pleasant and had smiles on their faces. The parking lot was clean and so was the dinning area. Food was not good at all. Burgers were hella dry. I gave 2 stars ONLY bc the workers were very friendly and professional.

Was just passing through and was hungry, ordered 2 burgers and a kids meal both with cokes. At the window to pay (total was 15.83) paid with a 20 and exact change, they didnt give me my change. They handed our two bags out so quickly they forgot an entire burger. I check the kids meal because we didnt get the kids plastic soda cup sure enough its in the bag with the food instead of a toy/thing (which im not mad about the nuggets are for me but still) however when told that we didnt recieve our change the worker said she had after we insisted she hadnt she gave us our 5 dollars. Worst place ive been to yet. read more

New Carl's Jr. nearby. When I go to In-N-Out I always get Pup Burgers for my dogs for about $1.20 each. Just plain hamburger patties with no bun or condiments. Just plain burger. Other places offer them too. I asked the girl at drive through if I could get just hamburger patties. She didn't understand. Explained a few more times and finally I thought she got it. As I approach cashier kept thinking I know she got it wrong. Guess what? They got it wrong. While my receipt has 2 Big Hamburgers it also says No Onion, No Mustard, No Catsup, No Pickle. I didn't even look to see what was in bag until I got home. Instead of two beef patties there were 2 Hamburgers with Onion, Mustard, Catsup and Pickle. Ugggg! And instead of about $2.20 I would have paid at In-N-Out she charged me $4.26. Oh and my Western Bacon.... overcooked, dry, not good at all. I hadn't been to a Carl's Jr. in a few years and thought it was great we got one nearby. Not many fast food in the area. I think in the future I'll go the extra miles to an In-N-Out. Hell the saving on the Pup Burgers will pay for the gas! read more

I love Carl's Jr., but this location sucks. The first time I went I believe it was the 2nd day it was open and everything was missing! I ordered 4 burgers and 4 fries, he repeated everything correct, but the receipt only had 3 of the fries and I only got 2 fries and 2 burgers....than the guy cashier was trying to make me feel stupid when he not doing his job. I waited for like 30 minutes when there was only 2 cars in front...the employees work slow and fool around. It was just a guy there and a young Hispanic girl who don't even speak English...she told me my total was $90 than laughed and said "oops I mean $25". Bitch how you get 90 & 25 mixed up? It sucks because it's up the street from my house, but not worth the wait and always having to worry and double check if all my food is there. read more

The cashier did not get my order right seems like she was irritated when I was taking my order making faces and I can't even get my order out right because I could not understand why she was irritated the job first customer service that it can get but as I told the young lady that I've been on my feet for 15 hours and I'm irritated now just by coming to order food because it wasn't welcoming or inviting this was the worst service that I received at Carl's Juniors I would not will be returning to this location ever please hire people who cares about their job in about customers read more

I ordered a beyond burger at this location and they gave me a regular burger with bacon in it. When I returned to the window, I asked if I could give the original order to a homeless person instead of throwing it away, but she took it and threw it away anyway and told me they couldn't give it back. This was alarming to me for a number of reasons: not only is it unethical and (bad PR) to do this, but it's also very unsafe to do this during a pandemic when they are taking customer orders back out of their cars and bringing food back into their restaurant, potentially exposing everyone in the building to COVID-19 infection. I don't know if this is the manager's call or company policy, but if it's the latter, that is a HUGE issue that needs to be addressed with corporate. If they're doing this with my order, I'd imagine they're taking dozens of returned orders every day in each location and that's a scary thought. Needless to say, I've lost my appetite and will be going someplace else for dinner, and will not be returning to any Carl's Jr. until I've found an answer to this question. Yikes! read more

I'm going to give them three stars because the first time I went my order was perfect when I got home I had everything. But The second time I went I didn't even think to check my order like I usually do!! this time I made it all the way home and checked my bag!! I opened up the wrapper AND its chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato wrapped around it no buns at all. I was highly upset and said fck it . i wanna know who was working that day ? Was you in a rush? who does that !!! I wasn't even hungry no more. SMH but overall I'll still go back. read more

This is by far the best Carl's Jr I've ever been too! The restrooms were some of the cleanest bathrooms I've seen in a long time. The dining room was clean as well. An employee by the name of Emanuel who I believe was the manager took my order. He was very polite and made my experience a good one. I ordered a Bacon Swiss Crispy Chicken sandwich combination with fried zucchini. Emanuel brought me my order shortly after I sat down and asked me if I needed any condiments and politely told me to enjoy my meal and thanked me for coming. My zucchini was hot and fresh and my sandwich was very delightful. I look forward to stopping at this location again and again ! Will always recommend to my friends and family that want a delicious meal! read more

They kept saying they didn't charge me but yet my account said different the girl in the drive thru charged me the order and gave me the receipt and when confronted you the manager she said idk how we got it. Never ever eating here again worst Carl's Jr. they wanted me to call my bank and ask about the charged. Wish I could give out 0 stars. read more

This location had the worst food ever! I like Carl's Jr. and was happy that this one just opened. I was surprised when I saw no one inside, or at the drive thru. But, now I know why. The burgers were totally overcooked and dry. French fries were greasy and cold, and onion rings were chewy and cold. Nothing was edible, so I asked for a complete refund. I had tried a couple of fries and one onion ring, and the cashier took them and put them back under the heat lamp to serve to someone else!!!! The place was clean because it was brand new, but their health code violation negates the cleanliness. I drove right over to In and Out, where I should have gone in the first place. read more

Ordered a burger on drive-thru and said that I wanted to have double meat. When I got it, it didnt have double meat, (which I paid for) I had to go back and wait again on drive-thru! When I finally got to the window I was expecting to give them my burger and get another one or AT LEAST they should've put the double meat on my burger when I tried to return it, WICH WAS ALREADY COLD, the lady on the window just gave me the piece of meat with her bare hands!! Are you kidding me?! This was her mistake and they should've fix it and they just did that! I used to go there every once in awhile but im never going back. Disgusting! Wed/21/18 read more

These employees are lazy and careless. Other than I took too long waiting for my food at the window, when I ordered the girl managing the drive thru didn't give me all the options, did not ask if I wanted a 1/3 or 1/2 patty which I forgot to mention 1/3, then asked medium or large...uuh small? And didn't even speak to me when I pulled up, her way of talking was just giving me the drink after I gave her $20 then waited longer than usual for food. It's kinda like you get what you wanna eat but they choose how they'll make it. Good food bad service read more
