Went there to order burgers & fries for 3, no drinks. We sat there for 35 minutes waiting for the food. Will never go back.

I tried fried potatoes, it's bitter. I asked the manager how often you change the oil when you fry potatoes. She said twice a week! As for me, they didn't change the oil at all when this business opened. read more

I had Biscuits and gravy this morning which was very good. Coffee from Loves next door was tasty also, oh yeah and those hash brown coins they serve. All was hot, tasted fresh, and made me sleep oh so good!!! I drove all night and was really ready for a Shower, Breakfast and Sleep!!! In that very order!!!! Service was great! Car broke down on IH35 and after getting it repaired it was after 1am. This was the only option open and I had never had Carl Jrs before. The woman working, Jennifer was polite and quick to take orders. She told me they were out of tea and gave me a cold brew instead. Best cold brew ever. It was fully mixed and stirred and not layered and gross like most places make their coffee drinks. The food was fresh and looked exactly like it does on commercials- plump, juicy, and amazing. Fried zucchini was spot on. Highly recommend this spot after hours when ur on the road. read more

Because of the Tesla Supercharger I've stopped here three times now. I'm not one to normally review big national chains, but I really want to call this particular location out for having especially friendly and thoughtful staff. Even stopping in at 3 am they were in very good spirits and service was on the mark. Food has been freshly made, quick and accurate. So I can't remember the last time I ate at Carl's but as I'm traveling down the highway, I decided that this was something I don't usually have access to, so let's try it. I was greeted by a friendly young man who I asked about the zucchini bites. He told me he had never had them but most folks like them. I joked and told him if I didn't like them I was bringing them back in which he replied "that's not how that works" - anyways, he mad a suggestion to dip it in ranch. I also got the thick burger and fries. So we get back on the highway and I'm either really hungry or these fries are really good. Now before you judge me, there were other people in the car but no one was hungry, but I insisted that my little person try the fries - needless to say, they never came back to the front as he proclaimed that they were good and can he have them. So now I'm biting into this burger and the foolish side of me once again insisted that he try the burger and he keeps asking what's on it and I'm yelling "just try it!" And he takes a small bite and says "mmmm that's good!" Yeah, pass it back and I see these eyes looking at me in the rear view mirror like "do I have to?" So I tell him to get one more bite and pass it back! I think he stuffed half the burger in his mouth. So I couldn't get anyone to try the zucchini but I wasn't mad cause they were good and that meant more for me (I had already lost my fries). And then I dipped them in the ranch and it was even better!!! I saw where others said the food was cold, but that so wasn't my experience. The zucchini (yes, I'm going back to that!) was so hot, I almost swerved across the highway cause it was burning my mouth. I'm happy that I decided to stop and the next time I come down the highway, I'll be making a stop here again! read more

Nobody should eat here. Ever. "Thick Burger" was about the nastiest, driest, and most odd-colored thing I've ever seen on a bun. And how anything that overcooked can be served cold is just unimaginable. Since I have to give one star, chicken tenders and fries were decent. But if there's one thing Carl's Jr says to people on the highway, it's "KEEP DRIVING!" read more

Not busy and they can't get a basic order correct. This is beyond the break in time frame so no excuse for this level of incompetence to confuse a steakhouse burger for a Tex/Mex burger. I even went inside so didn't have excuse of the outside speaker being an issue. Had to scrape off the crap I didn't want and RUINED my meal. Way to go making life harder on a terminal cancer patient guys!!! Only reason they got a second star is Michelle the General Manager said they would reimburse me my money and replace with correct burger. But it shouldn't have come to that!!! read more

This place is the worst place to go for lunch! Been here 3 times and all 3 times they didn't get my order right. Twice I ordered and never got my food! They wiped it out of the screen before filling it. The other time I ordered breakfast just before they changed to lunch, and all I got was my money back a half hour later. No apology or nothing , just refunded my money. If Love's is going to keep this restaurant, then they will never have me as a customer again! read more

I was traveling from Waco back to Rockwall. I pulled in at 11:04 to get dinner from the drive-through. The girl came on and said that they were not taking any orders because they were having a shift change. I took my money and went and spent it further down the road. The burger and bun were cold and stale. The food was tossed together. Fries were not fully cooked. Don't waste your money.

Both times we have gone our orders were screwed up. The second time they forgot my order and I had to inquire about it. I kid you not I had to speak with the manager about the meat on my burger- I thought they had given me a breaded chicken patty but she assured me it was beef. Did not look like it or taste like it. Took 2 bites and I just couldn't get past the look of the meat so in the trash it went. Won't return to this location. read more
