We were just stopping for lunch on our way through town. We like Carls, but were hesitant because of the reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted at the counter and our order was professionally taken by a nice young g lady. The restaurant seating area was clean and comfortable. Our food was brought to us warm, fresh and quickly. The manager, Tiffany actually was walking through the restaurant and said good morning to us. As we were leaving I used the restroom. How is this place still getting business?? Tried to order food but the woman didn't seem to understand us fully. We had to repeat ourselves constantly and when she repeated everything back she left out sizes and specifics so it sounded right. When we got to the window and got the receipt... it was not right. We told the man at the window and he asked if we were charged for the smaller size/option and took our card to charge us the difference first before offering to fix the food. I was shocked when he asked us to give back the whole bag of food so that they could remake everything for the two items that were wrong, instead of just replacing those two things! When we pointed this out he said "Well I can remake it, but I figured you didn't want to be charged for a second one"... so we would have to pay to fix your mistake? This is my favorite Carl's Jr. Grabbed lunch from the drive thru today. So wished I went inside. The volume on the AI assistant was so incredibly loud it gave me a bit of a headache. OMG... I came through the drive through and asked for a charbroiled chicken club. Some kid on the speaker says which one. I said just the sandwich regular style. Than he ask me if I want the large. I said I want the sandwich only. I get ready to pay. This long blonde hair kid with earrings gives me the bag and the order is wrong. So he changes the order and throws the other bag to the curb with an attitude. Like he's doing me a favor he comes back 3 mins later and gives me a greasy bag. The meals, as with any Carl's Jr., are quite delicious. In addition, the wait time for meals is not long.
