I significantly underestimated the amount of time our move would take. The move took over 10 hours and filled 3 trucks! The team of 4 guys who came out were on time, very polite and worked their butts off the whole day. I only saw them take one break the whole day! One of the guys told me he thought a mirror may have cracked, despite being wrapped carefully. He was very apologetic. I told him stuff happens. I saw them being very careful with all of our items. The mirror was a bummer, but could have happened to anyone. The owner had indicated he would give me a discount when we had first talked. However, there was not a discount at the end. I emailed the owner the next day and asked about the discount. He got back to me right away and said he would look into it. Frankly, that very minor issue does not change my review or opinion about this moving company. If we had to move again tomorrow (God forbid!) I would call these guys again. They prey on Seniors horribly and we fell victim to their business practices! So much of our estate was stolen and to this day, we often ask ourselves where many of our antiques, artwork, oriental rugs, 1920s furniture and so much more actually went! This company does not care about supplying seniors any information, documents, etc. We were given, "at the end of the day," a bill for $1,200 to clean out the house, IN ADDITION TO THE COMPANY TAKING SO MANY HIDDEN FEES, and there was no discussion with us beforehand, just served it up to us in front of many customers picking up items. It was a horrible experience and we didn't know much about the extra cost. We were angry nothing was told to us ahead of time.. We had a huge estate, this company sent us a check for a measly $250! TO SAY WE WERE SHOCKED WITH SUCH A SMALL PAYMENT WHEN WE HAD SO MUCH TO SELL! We discovered this company took much of our estate for themselves and put most of it in a warehouse where they eventually sell later on and take the full payment ... and who loses? WE DID!!!! I COULD GO ON AND ON ABOUT THIS FRAUDULENT BUSINESS BUT THEY CONTINUE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SENIORS! We were naive and very trusting.
