My fav Caribou location! Small store, but always has great service and delicious drinks. I love hanging out on the patio or next to the adorable and cozy fireplace. There's free WiFi and a quieter area in the back for when I need to get some work done. My fav orders depend on the weather outside. Summer: caramel espresso shaker for me, frozen cookies and cream for the kids. Winter: dark roast coffee for me. The kids ask for the hot cocoa with milk chocolate. I don't typically get food here, but when I do, I love their sausage biscuit and egg breakfast sandwiches. read more

This Caribou Coffee cafe is the closest one to my hotel. As much as I love the convenience of dropping by the Starbucks cafe that's much closer to where I'm staying, I prefer coming here. Caribou Coffee to Minnesota is what Starbucks is to Seattle. The difference is that I can't get to the former anywhere in the States or Canada. I had signed up for the cafe's rewards program and have the app. The problem is that it doesn't accept a Canadian credit card to make payments. So, I end up driving over here and placing my order through the drive-thru. There is a parking lot in this smaller plaza, but parking spaces seem limited. The drive-thru isn't as busy as the Starbucks, which I like. Today was an exception. I had never been here in the morning. Ordering is easy. A staff member asks if you have a rewards card. You simply state your phone number associated with the rewards card and you're good. You then order. I have been here a.handful of times already. I love the mango black and tropical green iced teas. The beautiful thing about them is that they are unsweetened by default. You also have four sizes to choose from: small, medium, large, and extra large. I ended up getting a free drink on my second visit. I got an extra large mango black iced tea. It was yummy. The mango isn't strong, but it works well with the black tea. So refreshing! I love the tropical green iced tea. It has subtle pineapple notes. Staff are super friendly and apologize when things take longer than expected. So rare, but much appreciated. I love this place. Employees are mostly super friendly, location is SO convenient for me and love that they put in a drive thru. My issue with this particular location is the inconsistently made drinks. Its truly 50/50 and its not like im going to park, go in and get it fixed or go back on the 8 car line to fix the drink. Employees need more corporate training. read more

I was going to use my credit card to pay the difference but he whipped out some personal change from his pocket and said not to worry about it. I asked for a turtle cooler and what the guy gave me was what looks like a chocolate messy cooler. No Carmel drizzle with snicker crumb and does not taste like turtle cooler. Third time they've messed up my coffee order. I should have checked it this time to make sure it was right but was in the drive thru and in a hurry to get back to work. Ordered a coffee with almond milk and what I got is basically a cup of straight creamer. Also they fill the coffee so high it overflows all over my car every time and they don't give you any napkins. They are slightly redeemed by having the best coffee cake but def not going here again in the morning. I totally wasted my money because now I have to dump out this cup of thick cream they gave me and go buy another coffee at Starbucks. read more

Austin Russ needs to be retrained on customer services. He was the rudest and most unprofessional person we spoke to at this location. We had told the server at the window of some issues we were having with the app. He came to the window and spoke with her to then walk away and say "there is nothing he can do" - the server herself was confused and said she doesn't know what to do. We then requested a refund and Austin said there is nothing he can do and to contact the customer service. We haven't been to Caribou for almost 2 years and this just explains why we have stopped coming. read more

I stopped by for a cup of dark roast and a scone this afternoon. There was no one at the counter so ordering was pretty quick. I asked for a medium roast and a cranberry scone. The server quickly placed the scone on a oversized plate to my surprise. She then says to me, "enjoy". I looked at her and said, "didn't I also order a cup of coffee?". She mumbled that she was going to do that but I know she forgot about the coffee. The place was pretty messy and there were crumbs and trash on the floor. The chairs were comfortable to use a iPad and phone but I wasn't totally impressed with the cleanliness of the establishment. Caribou coffee should have better standards. read more

Wow, I could not have been made to feel like more of an interruption to someone's day than I have here!! I go to Caribous all over, and not one single employee smiled or even acknowledged me with an audible greeting. Eden took my order at the counter, and she never even looked at me, and everyone here made me feel like an inconvenience. I love Caribou Coffee. I've always found that almost all of the locations are perfect for studying and working. I frequented in my high school/college years. Well into my 30's, I still find myself going often. This Eagan one is one of my favorites. It's a bit of a drive. I come when I'm in the area. Parking is easy. The surrounding area can get congested as it's near Walmart. Inside is cozy and it's never loud. I suppose it depends on people, but for the most part, it's quiet. All of the coffee is good. I highly suggest asking for half the amount of sugar if you get flavored drinks like the turtle mocha or even the coolers unless you've a major sweet tooth and like drinking straight up syrup. read more

I visited this Caribou this AM 10:00 in the morning. Needless to say customer service was horrible. The person who took my order kept doing other things behind the counter (not making drinks) kept saying I'll be with you in a minute. Finally took my order (very unfriendly). After 10 minutes of waiting for a small latte had to ask when it would be ready. Three minutes later handed it to me and said here's your latte. Half of the latte was foam so not very good. Also did not ask me for my perks number. Needless to say I will not be visiting this Caribou again. read more

The place was clean and not very busy. The service was terrible! The girl who took our order kept asking after each item "is that it?", I felt ackward adding more to it. I paid with cash and instead of handing me my change she set it on the counter nearest to her side and just looked at me. We were not offered a receipt and she didn't ask a name for the order. We waited several minutes for an iced tea and lemonade; it was a different employee that served it to us. We realized as we were walking out nobody thanked us for our order or did anything to make us feel appreciated. I do like Caribou but will never return to this location. read more

I feel a little silly reviewing Caribou. Doesn't everybody know Caribou has the best coffee? Well, in case you don't, it's amazing! Their mochas are the best that I have ever had; you get to choose your chocolate (white, milk or dark -Guittard brand), and all your other options that makes the coffee distinctly yours. And at this particular Caribou, when my husband and I order 1 medium mocha to share, they give us 2 chocolate cover coffee beans on top. A lovely bonus! read more

This place used to be ok. But I was just told they started getting their breakfast sandwiches pre made and that I couldn't choose the bagel I wanted for a sandwich. What's the point of having 20 kinds of bagels if you can't order the one you want? If I wanted a pre made breakfast sandwich, I'd go to the gas station. Awesome local coffee shop that's intimate, and has quality products. Everyone here is very helpful and you can tell they like their jobs. This coffee shop is a nice alternative to the "bigger" guys out there, and you can tell that places like this actually have a vested interest in making their customers happy. Caribou is a nice mix between starbucks and dunkin donuts. They're not as expensive as starbucks, not as cheap as DD, but soooo delicious! Their cafes are really cute and rustic, there's a little fridge with pre-made goodies in it, and their coffee....oh my goodness, their coffee.... Highly recommended. read more

This Caribou is nice. They separate the table areas with a fireplace so that allows more of a special quiet area on the smaller side of the fireplace. Of course, you might be surrounded by others who disagree with that, but its a nice thought. Nothing spoke to me that this Caribou is any different than any of the others. I will most likely not come out to this one unless I happen to be stopping by in the hood. Love the turtle mocha, mint condition, and white berry mocha. First, I love the location of this shop because it's across the street from the hotel I frequently stay at when I am in Minnesota. The hours are also great as we are often heading to work events early in the morning. I do wish they were better about labeling for food allergies. I am glad I asked (after ordering unfortunately) what was in the oatmeal before I ate it. But then it went to waste. I have always had great service except for my last visit. One of the tall bistro tables is definitely off kilter and when I lifted my arm off of it, the coffee a colleague had just received, not yet tasted, and set down went flying to the floor. We were handed a mop and then given an eyeroll when asking for a replacement coffee. I want to chalk it up to a couple of employees having a bad morning but it left a sour taste on our morning as well. read more

They were beyond rude in the drive through, not to mention the wait was over 10 minutes long with only ONE other car at the window. I love this place! It's small and comfortable. They are rarely ever busy to the point of annoyance. The staff is always polite, and professional. When I lived in Minnesota, I thought Caribou was my choice over Starbucks. But after I moved to Northern California I found better coffee at a chain called Peet's. It has a darker taste. At Peet's, I normally get a caramel latte, maybe add mocha too. They use the brown caramel sauce, not the medicine tasting clear syrup that Caribou and Starbucks uses. Often, Caribou doesn't give me the brown sauce even when I ask for it. Caribou's mocha is good, using dark chocolate bits. They don't always dissolve though. But Peet's uses a super dark sauce that has more bite. read more

I love Caribou coffee. The coffee reminds me of when i learned to love coffee when I was in Paris, France with the hot steamed milk and a croissant. I walk in and the smell of the place is heavenly with the smell of the roast coffee that is roasted just right not burnt. For the rest of the day when i open my desk drawer it smells like Caribou from my purse being in there. There is nothing like starting my day with the first sip of coffee, that first sip makes me stop for just a moment and relish pure pleasure in how wonderful this cup of coffee tastes.
