Not only was the position an hour away, but it only lasted 6 days. When I discussed the issue with the recruiter she didn't seem to care, she just responded saying that now I had something to put on my resume. How do you put a job where you spent 6 days on a resume??? Additionally, I had to significantly cut back on hours at my other job to take this opportunity. I was not able to get all of my shifts back after my temp job was over. Through this process Aimhire cost me both time and money; I would never recommend this agency to anyone. My word of advice to anyone who uses this company, be careful and have a backup plan! Aimhire will do what it takes to staff a position but at the cost of its employees.

Accountemps use to be good years ago, but now they have gone the same way as most businesses... if you don't have a degree you're pretty much out of luck, which is pretty bad since they are in the business of finding you a job. Even though my experience far exceeds a degree, I do not have that document in my grasp yet. When they assumed I had a degree my phone was ringing off the hook several days in a row, but once they found out I don't have a degree, but it's a work in progress, my phone hasn't rang since! That's very bad business service in my opinion. I will continue to keep looking on my own and IF they call me I will consider what they have to offer, but as of right now they are offering nothing because of a piece of paper that I am only half way through obtaining. The Premier Group can be looked at as a temp agency if your goal is to get connected to a big contractor. However, I have personally found that the freedom I enjoy with Premier might not be available with other contractors. Furthermore, it means a lot to work for people who care about their employees. I called to let her know that I've worked there before and I was wondering if they had a certain shift I was looking for, she tells me sure just come in & well see what we have, so I let her know thats fine. So I come in the next day, met & greeted her, she gets up and leaves for a little while so I think nothing of it, (SMFH) she comes back sits down and tells me. We dont have anything available at this time and without any hesitation she tells me to come in and fill out another application because she cant find my last one along with take another drug screening without even checking so it was like okay that was pretty fast bu..t okay, I agreed to do so. I come in the next day looking to fill out some paperwork, she meets me has me wait for a little while again jus to tell me she found my application but the background check hasn't came in yet she's waiting on that. So than I asked her if she had that certain shift I was looking for, she quickly tells me nothing has came in yet but I'll call you tomorrow to let you know whats going on and what we've found. A full week goes by I still havent heard from her so than I decided to call them instead, she picks up and I let her know that I was looking for an up date on things and again without hesitation but this time tells me due to my background they cant work with me and I have to find another temp agency.
