My son has been obsessed with collecting Pokémon and baseball cards and found this place online and really wanted to check it out. We were close to the area so stopped by and I am blown away at how huge this place is. Rows upon rows of cards to buy. Tons of new boxes of cards if you wanted to buy new. There's even a lot of cards in the middle for much much cheaper for those kids who want to leave with something affordable. I love that there's that option. Overall everyone was nice and helpful. There's even a sitting area with sports playing. Minors aren't supposed to walk around alone but if you come as a family and one parent wants to sit down, I'm glad there's that option. This place is awesome!! I'm a sports card collector, not for resale, just personal collection. They have a great selection in sports - baseball, football, basketball, hockey, wrestling and soccer. I was impressed with the hockey selection being it's the south. Service was great, everyone was friendly and helpful. Prices on hobby boxes are pretty good, single cards a little overpriced, but still cool to look at. I can't comment on Pokémon and the like as I don't know anything about it, but seems that area was very busy. I will 100% be back here to buy cards. read more

So....CardsHQ tried to do my kid a "favor" and buy a mega charizard for $100 cash or $200 store credit last week. My son sold it yesterday for $685 cash to a well known TCG buyer in NYC. My son disclosed it wasn't centered to both buyers because he has an app for that. Do not let your kids sell cards here. They do the fastest flips in town (for themselves) I'm sure that mega charizard totally wouldn't have been graded by Mr. Cards HQ at his in store PSA shop. They are constantly pandering to CHILDREN. Especially at card shows. Weird for that. read more

Torn between rating CardsHQ 4 stars or 5 stars. Decided to give them 5 stars because I enjoy watching their You Tube channels. They make terrific content, and I believe they contribute positively to the hobby. CardsHQ shop was #1 on my "Must Visit" places on our recent trip to Georgia and Tennessee. Three things kept it from being a perfect visit. One thing was that there was not many Tennis cards both in the Singles section or in the Value bins. This disappointed my wife. We asked a couple of staff members, but they said that tennis is not popular at their store. A second thing was that taxes are not included in the price for their cards. I was surprised that instead of paying the price of $80 marked on the card I ended up paying over $85 overall because of the sales tax. Most card shops including Burbank Sports Cards (at least from my last visit there 3 years ago) already include the sales tax in the price marked on the card. The third thing that disappointed me was their sparse selection of singles for both slabs and raw cards. The display cases for both football cards and basketball cards were more empty than full that Saturday (4/19/25) we were there. Overall, I had a wonderful time at CardsHQ despite those three disappointments. The shop looked great. It was awesome seeing the shop in person and not just on television. Look forward to returning again one day. read more

Anyway ordered some Topps Baseball Holiday cards on Dec 11, arrived on the west coast on the morning of Dec 16, great job on such a fast shipping. Shipping for 2 boxes was $5.50 very reasonable, Price was excellent, overall and exceptional experience. Wish I could give more stars but alas 5 is the most. read more

Bought a card and didn't know it was damaged till I got home. When I called they said all sales are final, but they offered me to bring it in person and they will decide what to do. The problem is I live 45 minutes away. I was not going to drive up there for a $20 card. He refused to look at the pictures I offered to share with him. Overall poor customer service, and quality control. I do not recommend shopping here. If you do, check your cards before you buy them! read more

What an awesome store! My husband and kiddos love sports cards (mostly basketball) and Pokemon cards so we decided to stop by on Fourth of July while they were offering free BBQ for customers between 12p-3p. (Free food? Why not! Great marketing in my eyes lol!) My husband has been here before but it was such a treat for my son as this was his first time. Huge parking lot. Such a stylish store and great location. Tons of art painted on the walls and a few "ATL moments" which I loved. The store is a HUGE space with tons of shelves full of cards. They had an area where some young men were opening their cards in front of a camera which I later realized was live on the CardsHQ YouTube channel. You will notice signage around the store indicating you may possibly be recorded and on social media. They had a lounge area with two large sectionals, chairs, and quite a few high top tables with high top chairs to sit at. They have very clean restrooms and vending machines available towards the back. (Note: no changing table available in women's restroom, not that I needed it but always like to check for.) All of the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. My husband needed assistance with the cards he wanted and a young man helped him out and was able to ring us up at the register. They were also giving one free pack of cards that day with purchase so my son was happy with more pokemon cards! I don't know anything about cards other than they had tons of high valued cards (lol sorry guys!) from all sports and different games (Magic the gathering, Pokemon). They sold tons of supplies such as card mats, card book holders, sleeves, etc. But outside of that, great store, location, friendly employees, super modern and updated, really cool spot! I ordered 3 Boxes of Topps 2026 series 1 baseball, 3 tins in each box. Price was $19.99 each. Their description of the product described it as such. When I received my order, I only received 3 individual tins. I contacted them at the website Cards HQ said to use if you have issues with your order. I received an auto-reply email that it was an un-monitored site. I called and their automated phone system says they do not discuss Online orders over the phone. I also emailed the two other addresses I found and sent a text and received nothing. I went back to their website and they had changed the image on my invoice of the Three Tim Box to a single tin. Luckily I took a screenshot of it and the product description stated each order consists of a box with three tins. This is a company that boasts 4 million in sales in their first 4 months and they are shorting people on orders and then changing their product information. Very shady business practices. Be very careful when ordering products from them. They are very overpriced as well in most products. I would have never paid $19.99 for one Holiday tin of 2026 Topps Baseball Series 1. You can get them at Walmart or Best Buy for $14.97 or cheaper. read more

I'm brand new to the card hobby and wanted to see if any of my old MTG cards had value. I went to Cards HQ with about 100 cards, including a Crimson Wisp foil that sells around $20 on its own. I was offered just $3 for the entire lot, which honestly felt insulting--especially after I told them I was new to this and didn't know much about what I was selling. If you're going to lowball that badly, you might as well just say you're not interested. The only reason this isn't a 1-star review is because I did speak with another worker who was genuinely kind and helpful, and that saved the experience a little. cardshq buyer was extremely rude to me. I brought in a very expensive Pokemon card. I waited for 45 mins -1 hour to sell this card. I was fine selling it for the advertised 80% market value. The card I brought in was pack fresh and was 65-35 centering T/B and 50-40 L/R. Perfect corners and surface, easily NM or LP. Once it's finally my turn I walk to the counter and tell them this is the only card I want to sell. They look at the centering, and say. "Since it's OC we would offer you 25% cash and 35% credit." an absolute rip off. I correct him and ask him where he gets that pricing. He doesn't answer my question and instead insists he's doing me a favor since it's off centered. I walked out, frustrated and absolutely and utterly disappointed with my experience. I really hope a manager sees this and cracks down on the service, I have received from both sports and TCG buyers and workers I. The store. They all seem very annoyed all the time I'm there. I've spent over 20K there and am happy to say they've lost a customer. read more

I was so excited to go to this store when I was in ATL. Watched many videos on it, and had high hopes. However, the experience was pretty underwhelming. The staff was not friendly and just camped behind the counter. I had some slabs to sell, but the buyer was pretty not interested, and couldn't even give me a smile or a nice comment. Pro tip: You can complement someone's cards even if you don't buy them. See Cardcollector2. Inventory was boring and there was no energy in the store. Value boxes were lame. They must put anything good on Whatnot, so don't bother looking. A few slabs in the cases were interesting, but I didn't feel like interrupting the bored staff to see anything. As an avid sports cards collector I had to come here and see the shop. It's absolutely huge!!! The staff were incredibly friendly and were willing to help in any way. The cards for sale were really cool and I ended up buying something for my wife too. The area where you can rip is built like you're a streamer on whatnot. If I had any recommendations it would be maybe to have top loaders available for people to rip what they buy in store. Also there's so much graded and ungraded baseball it would be cool if it was organized by division. Other than that amazing shop and I'll come back if I come back to town. I am completely disappointed in this place. I had so much excitement about this shop until I got there. For one, they went to local Walmart and Target stores , bought all of the Walmart and Target exclusive 2023 2024 Upper Deck Hockey Series 2 tins and megas just to resell them for almost double the price. To sell Walmart and Target exclusives boxes is disgusting by itself but to increase the price almost double is just pure greed. It's real telling about the owners and not to mention the employees there don't look happy to be there at all. My son and I couldn't even look around the store without some employee with a standoff'ish attitude had to stand around us and wouldn't leave us alone while we were just looking. Only reason I could think off was becasue my son is black. We definitely won't be returning to this grimey place. read more

walked in & was disappointed. we drove four hours to get here and we were excited with our prepared cards. it was super disappointing the way we were treated by the employees. very rude & standoffish and it seems that is a common theme within other reviews i have read. we went to sell cards & the dude was annoyed we were having to evaluate them & he seemed done with us the second we asked him to do his job. again, another common theme of other reviews. we went to buy a Zion case, and picked a case that had multiple notable dents and scratches on it. Unbeknownst to us, we paid the same price for this dented and scratched case as we would have if we bought a brand new case directly from Zion. obviously it's on us to research prices, but it just seemed sneaky. when we went to purchase the case, one of the employees shooed me out of the way as we were making our way to the register & asked another employee to help us. spent $120 & left. As for the store experience, we took a look around, and for being seen as a large card shop, the selection was incredibly disappointing. Almost all of the cases were less than halfway filled, and as a big football fan, I was incredibly disappointed with the lack of variety and selection. I have been to small, living room sized card shops with a much bigger selection. The shops environment seems more dedicated to content creation than to being a genuine card shop. it was nothing to write home about, and all around an angering customer experience. as of right now, would not recommend this store to anyone or go again. to the owner, Geoff, we as customers encourage you to work on customer service with your employees! It is abundantly clear after reading multiple reviews that this wasn't just an isolated incident with us. This is an ongoing issue in your store that needs to be addressed.
