Daniel was extremely informative, courteous, and sensitive. We chose to move forward with Symonds Madison and the team was very kind and helpful. Jennifer at the front desk communicated throughout the process and responded quickly to emails. The location is easy to find, pretty on the outside and bigger than it looks on the inside. There is pretty of parking on the new paved lot. Although we did not have services at the home, the facilities were nice and the place looks like it's cared for with love.

Got a message late on Thurs and called at 3pm the next day because I'm working. Was told by Dwayne I couldn't talk to anyone on Saturday and would cb next week--again won't set up an appt for next week today.. He then said are you wanting cremation. (I was thinking a showing then cremation) I said yes eventually Well he said then that can't even be done until after the person dies and it takes time - I said we are thinking about a showing first just not sure yet and want to discuss further. He said I should go somewhere that does cremation or call after my family dies and wouldn't expound what services they over. . We wanted the services and venue in our home town. This funeral home isn't interested in helping to plan especially since it wouldn't allow even a discussion about Services. I have talked and seen another place in a nearby town. Very friendly and accommodating. Saw me last Saturday and sat down with planning just was concerned about location so held off on my decisions . She provided details on what Meadows could provide and also offered alternative solutions for us which wouldn't even result in revenue for her. To me, this is a sign of a true professional looking out for the best interests of the client. A woman answered the phone and immediately put me on hold. When she came back I explained that I had a couple questions about my dogs cremation. Without saying anything else she said "hold please". She came back and I continued with my questions. She said she would get back to me, took my name and number and just hung up. She was unpleasant and unprofessional. I get it that this was an animal and not a human we were discussing but a little kindness would have gone a long way. When she first answered she had no idea what my question was so I think she needs to be coached to show a little compassion considering where she is working.

Both the owner and his wife were very respectful, kind, and thoroughly prepared (even with the small details). We forgot to bring my grandmother's rosary, and he brought an extra one, just in case. It was an absolute lifesaver, that in itself eased my family's conscience. We lost another family member a few years ago.
