The general workout area is clean & huge. It can be a little intimidating. But they have great group fitness rooms such as a spin studio that's tiered. There is another workout area that's smaller and less intimidating. I give kudos to the idea of allowing local businesses advertise on the TV panels in various areas. The juice bar is good too with various protein drinks. They have pickleball courts that double as basket ball courts. Hopefully they will expand a little more and add the pool. Then it would be a well rounded health & wellness center of the 21st century.

Their slogan is "Always clean. Never crowded." and I have never heard of a slogan for a business to hold more true. The place is immaculate! The floors and all of the equipment are spotless! You could eat off the floors in this place. They have everything you need and it doesn't feel like your typical small gym where people are pushing you or have you on a regime. You can workout at your own pace or take part in a class, whatever fits your needs. There has never been more than two other people in there working out at the same time as me so you just feel like you can let loose and breath freely. Amenities are great as well, shower rooms, bathroom and lockers are always super clean and tidy. Definitely recommend checking out the garage if you want to switch up your average gym routine!

I got stuck paying two gym fees at the same time because Atlantic Club lied about giving me a few hours grace. I would not have joined another gym if the rep had been honest in the first place. When I saw the charge on my credit card, I called the gym. According to the membership rep, no one should have told me that the computer system could be changed. There was one person who had authority to change the computer system and that was Kevin McHugh-COO of Genesis Health System. I have emailed Kevin McHugh four times and only once did he get back to me to tell me he would get back to me. The Atlantic Club passes the buck and hopes you forget that you've paid them any money. I have not forgotten. I have tried in good faith to discuss this with them. They have my money; they no longer wish to speak with me. Consider this before you give them your credit card number.

That's why it's frustrating to see the direction things have gone less than a year later. For a gym of this size and caliber, the sauna and steam room are shockingly small. They feel like an afterthought compared to the massive footprint of the rest of the facility, and it's disappointing considering how much members are paying. What stings even more is being hit with a $75 per member increase in under a year. As someone who supported the gym from day one, it feels like loyalty isn't valued -- instead, members are left to absorb constant price hikes. Life Time has the potential to be the premier club in the area, but issues like these make it hard to justify the cost.
