I stopped going for a month and switched to another gym, and this one seems to have the best equipment variety without being overly packed. The staff are nice as well, I had trouble with my 24 hour access and they made it so easy to fix my issue without any trouble. I recommend checking it out if you're looking for a gym in the area.

They do have an extensive array of cardio machines which is nice, certainly high tech ones at that. It's also a membership based gym, but you're paying for amenities like the pool, sauna, while extra payment is needed for personal trainers. I personally never used anything but the gym equipment here because I always come as a guests since my parents are members. They have some interesting process for guest members such as getting their blood pressure taken and I've seen guest clients be turned away temporarily because of it.

The workouts are awesome, and Nick (the owner) breaks down each exercise for you (which was particularly helpful since I hadn't done crossfit before). The workouts are challenging, but they can be scaled to be easier/harder depending on your level. Everyone is super friendly and will push you to achieve your goals, whether it is learning how to do your first pull up or getting a new pr on your deadlift. If you are in the area give ASC a try, its the best gym in the area! (warning: crossfit is addicting!!)

I would say on the occasion, some of the machines are out of service. I think this is the norm for most gyms. My other gripe about this place is that it feels a little dark - I wish the lighting would be better. I just simply liked the fact that it was brighter in that place than in this gym. One other issue is that I feel the locker rooms are a little dirty, especially the men's. There are signs that other people had tampered with the toilets in the past. It's kind of a shame because if the locker rooms were a little bit better, I would give this a five star review. Overall, I would highly recommend this place and I'm very positive about this gym with only very minor issues. The new managers have done a great job fixing up the gym and adding many more workout classes to the schedule. This gym has it all. Clean, spacious work out areas for aerobics and weight training equipped with giant, flat screen TVs. All treadmills and bikes are brand-new and have personal flatscreen TVs in which you can either monitor your work out or tune in to a television program. Then there are three different rooms for exercise classes. There is a large room for popular classes such as Zumba, etc. There is another room with bikes for spin classes. There is also a third room for smaller fitness classes. As mentioned earlier the new managers have been adding lots more classes than in the past. The locker rooms are very high end. The locker doors themselves are made of glass and are very premium. The sauna is really nice and super clean. When you enter the gym you feel like you are entering a hotel lobby. Beautifully decorated front desk which also serves healthy shakes and other snacks. What I like the best about this gym is the very comfortable, clean, high-end atmosphere at an affordable price. The reason for the four stars is there are some repairs that still need to be made, such as several broken locker doors in the men's locker room. But make no mistake, this is the best gym option in the Freehold area and It is highly recommended, especially with the new management!
