Caravelle knows how to brunch, and they do it exceptionally. Quality food, quality vibes, quality everything. You cannot call ahead to reserve a table, so I recommend arriving when they open if you want to grab a spot. On weekends there usually is a long wait out the door (well worth the wait though). My partner and I have had the pleasure of trying multiple items off the menu and have been happy every time. Our favorite bites include : 1. Creamy Baked Eggs 2. Ricotta Pancakes 3. Croffle (get this on the side to share!) 4. Smoked Pulled Pork Bennie 5. Caravelle Rancheros ** Gluten free bread is offered! Big win for my GF folks! The beverage selection does not disappoint either. I was thrilled to discover Caravelle brew their own beer. You can purchase cans to take away, and the options are quite tasty. There are even a few GF options available! Add Caravelle to your itinerary for breakfast or lunch, you will be thankful you did!

Pancakes!

Pretty chill place to grab some breakfast. I saw a wide variety of people from locals to tourists just chillin eating some breakfast or drinking some coffee. Some were doing work and others were just enjoying time with others. It's a nice escape from the bustle of the Ramblas Service was fairly quick and I receive my delight quickly, which was the pancakes. They were excellent. Not pictured was an iced latte. I hadn't ordered any iced coffees or lattes here in Spain, so I wanted to see it for myself before I leave Barcelona. Didn't disappoint! The prices aren't cheap, but the quality is just great!

This was our first sit down breakfast place in Barcelona and decided on it based on the reviews and items available. Please remember and try to go earlier to avoid waiting for a table!! We got promptly seated around 10AM, and was able to secure the last available table. Opted for French toast and yogurt granola breakfasts. Too bad they don't make decaf coffee! The food was absolutely fresh, the combination of the ingredients was perfect. Never had tahini granola before, and the flavor along with yogurt, peach sauce and pumpkin seeds was perfect, light and memorable. The French toast was equally tasty and delicious. One large piece of toast bursting with flavors!! What an amazing an enjoyable feast. Please do remember to go early!!!

Lots of energy and positive vibes here serving a creative variety and yet highly accessible breakfast/brunch menu. A must stop along your way to seeing the sights and neighborhoods of Barcelona. Our party ordered the Caravelle Rancheros, Scoffle, and the sourdough toast with eggs. Each were equally fantastic. The mimosa sealed the deal garnished with a skewered orange slice. Make time for two! The service provided was attentive and friendly with no rush. English is spoken very well in case your Spanish is lacking. Enjoy this fabulous gem!

We arrived in Barca at our BnB around 0945 and was informed by our driver that normal breakfast time in Barca about 0800-1100 so we headed straight out to fuel up for our first day in Barca. If there is a 'hole-in-the-wall' version in Barca this might be it. Just a nice small traditional breakfast with local flavs that will reset your taste buds for Spainish flare for your stay ahead. Great friendly service too. I had the pulled pork Benny and it was great.

Croffle

This place is an absolute gem! Service was excellent! The croffle was spectacular, the best waffle variant I've ever had. Everything looks delicious here. And the sangria... a little ~too~ easy to drink!! Got two pitchers!!!

It was one of the best brunches I've ever had. Everything was really high quality. Unique flavors and dishes I've never had before. Cappuccino was fantastic!

When you wait more than 10 minutes to order and everyone else is already eating, you know it's a bad sign. This restaurant just had bad service. The food was not memorable and definitely not worth the wait of ordering. We also had our food before our drinks were ready. It's cute inside, but I just don't think I'd return since there are so many other places in the neighborhood.

Food was bright and fresh. Just wonderful. Service was personal and our presence was appreciated

Excellent brunch! Everything we tried was amazing. The drinks (cappuccino, cortado, iced latte, mocha) tasted as good as they looked. The same for the food (croffle, toast and eggs, smoked pulled pork bene, caravelle rancheros). Definitely try the hot sauce/salsa...VERY GOOD! Service was also top notch. English menus and English speaking server was very friendly. Go here!

Smoked pork Benedict

I live in Portland Oregon where brunch is taken very seriously so I have eaten many eggs Benedict breakfasts and I must say this is the best bene I have ever eaten in my life! The pork so tender, amazing sauce, perfectly poached eggs on fluffy brioche that soaked up all the sauce. I will dream about this breakfast until next time Our server was wearing overalls and was the only person serving the entire cafe which was full! She was friendly and quick and moved around the cafe effortlessly

Cute Cafe in a nice neighborhood. The servers were friendly and extremely helpful to us. They made sure we were comfortable and always have everything we needed. This was the first restaurant my mother and I tried here in Barcelona and we couldn't have been happier. The food was tasty and well priced. Their coffee was delicious and the beer they served was even better! We honestly couldn't have been happier and would highly recommend this place.

TLDR: a great breakfast! ___ I came in early in the morning for some breakfast and managed to snag a seat at the bar. Huevos rancheros - big hearty dish. Very tasty. Orange juice was amazing. I had a glass to boost my immune system and you could tell this was real deal OJ. Shashwa bowl - the garlic yogurt made it amazing. A delightful combo of flavors! Get this! Overall a great breakfast and worth a visit.

This was our first time visiting Barcelona and this restaurant with our friends for dinner. We passed by and liked the posted menu in English. The place was packed with patrons for dinner, therefore we assumed this was a good local place for us to stop for dinner. Despite that the place was packed with customers we scored a table for four in the rear of the restaurant. I started with and enjoyed my portal (blanco Joven), which is a dry garnacha blanca 90% sauvignon Blanc and Viognier for 4 Euros. I enjoyed my patatas pulled pork bravas potatoes with carnitas, poutine sauce and chilli sour cream for 12 Euros. My friend also enjoyed his patatas pulled pork bravas potatoes. We all enjoyed our tapas. I also ended my dinner with a Cerv Jarra cervezas draft beer for 4.90 Euros. My friend also enjoyed the same cervezas draft beer. My total bill for the four of us was 81.30 Euros or USA $94.44 based on the current exchange rate. Our server Contado, who also spoke English, served us very well. After we visited I found one other nearby Alsur Cafes, which may or may not be affiliated with this Alsur Cafe restaurant. We agreed we will return here again. More to come regarding tomorrow's tour of the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell.

Our server, Amaya, was funny, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. He took great care of us, and every single recommendation he made was delicious. I wish I knew all the Spanish names of the dishes because everything was amazing. The highlights for us were the Bacalao -- so tender and full of flavor -- and honestly the best octopus I've ever had in my life. We also loved the soft steak with duck liver served on a slice of French baguette, the shrimp skewers, patatas, and the Spanish ham with tomato toasts. Every dish was unforgettable. On top of the incredible food, the restaurant itself has such an elegant atmosphere with beautiful décor that made the whole dining experience even more special. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Barcelona!

I came here for lunch, and thankfully I didn't have to wait too long before I got seated inside. The interior is a bit on the smaller side, but it's quite bright with a lot of natural sunlight inside. For the food, I decided to get squid, codfish with honey allioli, and iberian ham montaditos. While all of the food was great, for me the codfish was hands-down the star of the show and probably one of the best dishes that I ate on the trip. The flavor of the sauce combined with the texture of the fish actually blew me away, and I can see why my server highly recommended this to me. If you just get one things when coming here, definitely make sure not to miss this dish. Highly recommend checking this place out for Spanish tapas, they represent the cuisine well!
