If you want things broke on your vehicle with the worst installation that anyone has ever seen, then this is the right place for you. I paid over a thousand for a Kenwood nav system and back-up camera and got terrible work with absolutely no professionalism. First thing I noticed when I got the vehicle back was the USB wires hanging out of the glove-box door, which destroyed the hinge of the glove box. The installer broke several interior parts on my car and when the owner said that he would order the parts and call me when they came in to set up a time to schedule them to fix it, he never called. I asked why the wires were hanging out of the glove-box instead of them installing the USB connections in the center console, as requested, and was told that the console doesn't come apart enough for them to run the wires to it. I looked up the center console on my phone right then and showed him how easy it was to take the console up to be able to run the wires to it and still insisted that it could not be done. Then they tried to charge me more for the USB plugs to rerun the cables from out of my glove-box, that I did not ask them to do in the first place, to a cubby hole under the Kenwood. For the other problems, he said he would call me when the parts came in. When I called him 2 weeks later to ask if the parts ever came in, he told me I was supposed to call him to set it up, then asked me again what parts I found that they broke. Took it in again and he looked it over and then told me again that he would order the parts and would "call me" when they came in. Still no call after a couple of weeks. When I called again, he then jumped down my throat about how I was supposed to call him and that he never said that he would call me when the parts came in. Finally took my vehicle to Autosound and it cost me another $400 to have them go through and fix the broke interior parts along with rewiring the system and camera because they showed me all of the places that they either severely pinched the wires or broke them, which explained the glitch in the back-up camera, the remote start system and the distortion in my factory Bose speakers that they connected to. The microphone they installed and disconnected the factory mic that was already in the vehicle was of poor quality that they used as an excuse to charge me more installation labor and parts costs. Over all, I would have better off installing all of the stuff myself and would not have had all of the dirt and oil marks all over my interior along with pinched and broken wires and the USB jacks would have been in my center console instead of in an almost inaccessible cubby that I can barely fit my hand into to plug in the USBs. It might have taken longer, but I would not have had to take it somewhere else and spend even more money to get it fixed right. Just like the terrible reviews everywhere else of Car Toyz, I say this, believe the 1 star reviews that you have read. I should have realized this and went somewhere else, but I wasn't expecting to spend $1000 more just on installation fees between them poorly install the system and other products and having to take it to Autosound to fix all of the destruction that Car Toyz caused to my vehicle with poor wiring and broken interior parts that had to be replaced because of the installation/ destruction. read more
