DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS WITH YOUR VEHICLE.
My experience with CAR Pros was extremely unprofessional, frustrating, and concerning from start to finish. I dropped off my bumper for repair on August 14, 2026, and what followed was nearly two months of poor communication, inconsistent pricing, and unnecessary stress.
At first, Josh told me I would be getting a new bumper through insurance. I had concerns regarding insurance fraud on his part, I decided I would rather pay out of pocket. After that, Josh stopped responding to my messages for weeks. On October 20, I finally reached the point where I requested my original bumper back and told him I no longer needed his services. Suddenly, I was told my "new" bumper had been at the shop, despite the lack of updates for approximately two months.
Because my battery had died and my car would not start, Josh arranged for his friend George to pick up my vehicle for what he described as a cheap tow. Josh quoted me $70, then changed the price to $80 after I confirmed the pickup. When George arrived later that evening, he attempted to charge me $100. I explained that I had only withdrawn $80 because that was the price I had been quoted and I had no vehicle to get to the bank. George then mentioned alternative payment methods, including Zelle and Cash App.
What happened next was completely unacceptable: George jump started my vehicle and took it from my own property without me signing any paperwork authorizing him to take it. I was shocked by how casually my concerns and consent were disregarded.
The following day, Josh offered to cover the $20 difference but then quoted me approximately $1,700 for the bumper repair and battery. When I requested an itemized breakdown explaining the charges, he did not provide one and instead became defensive. I declined the work, and he said he would have my vehicle towed back and would not be servicing it. During the subsequent arrangements, I was threatened on my Ring camera, and I was told I owed $120 IN CASH ONLY, including the disputed $20 balance and another $100 for the return tow. The changing prices and conflicting explanations made an already stressful situation even worse.
THE MOST IMPORTANT PART: I ultimately got my bumper and battery issues handled elsewhere for just $300. That experience left me questioning the original quote, the communication, and the way this entire situation was handled.
I would not recommend CAR Pros based on my personal experience. The lack of communication, inconsistent pricing, refusal to provide a clear price breakdown, and unprofessional treatment were unacceptable. Customers deserve transparency, written estimates, clear authorization before work or vehicle transport, and basic respect.
I have recordings and documentation of my experience. Please ask questions, get everything in writing, and confirm every price before allowing this business to handle your vehicle. I would not want another customer to go through what I experienced. read more
