Absolute rip-off artists. DO NOT go here…read more The service desk staff are paid on commission, and they will "recommend" repairs that are not necessary. The technicians and mechanics in the back know what they're seeing. The service desk takes that information, decides what they can use, and repackages it into a message designed to create concern and get the customer to authorize additional work, even when no repair is actually needed. The techs/mechanics will contradict the lies of the service desk staff, who are sales guys, not tech/mechanics. It is dishonest, manipulative, and clearly designed to separate customers from their money. There is a reason they try to prevent the tech/mechanics from interacting with customers. It's YOUR car, you should have the right to speak to person who makes the observations and can speak about the issues. I have seen service desk staff completely tell a different story to a customer than what the tech/mechanic tells them. If you make the mistake of bringing your car here, ask the service desk these questions directly and firmly: 1. Is the repair you are recommending 100% necessary? 2. Is the part you are recommending I replace currently NOT functioning? 3. If I take my car to two independent mechanics, will they agree that this repair is necessary? (They will try to create concern saying another mechanic can provide the same type of warranty they can). 4. Have them put the problem, the recommended repair, and the reason you say it needs to be done in writing by way of a written quote. Then tell them you'll think about it and leave, provided the car is safe to drive. The only time I personally would authorize additional work on the spot is if they explicitly tell me the problem is critical and the vehicle is unsafe to drive. And even then, I would want them to put that statement in writing. If you push back, expect some line about Honda backing or warranting its work in ways an independent shop supposedly can't. Again, that's beside the point. It creates another concern they can use to manipulate the customer instead of answering the simple question: Does this part actually need to be replaced or not? They are highly commissioned. In my experience, they are dishonest. And there is a reason customers deal with commissioned service desk staff instead of being able to speak directly with the technicians and mechanics who actually inspected the vehicle. Do not blindly trust their recommendations. Get everything in writing. Take the quote somewhere else. Get a second opinion. Also, see how they respond when you ask to speak to the tech who works on your car. They have time to talk to the service desk, and the customer can easily be brought into that convo. More to come...

We test drove the greenish 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe VIN KM8SG13D57U099373 listed as of this date. We…read moreliked the vehicle and drew up papers and left a deposit pending a pre-purchase inspection by our mechanic. When we went to look at it intially the dealer had the AutoCheck available, but not the Carfax which was strange since they have a big Carfax sign in the window. We also got some verbiage about how Carfax reported every little thing and wasn't necessarily accurate. I still paid for the Carfax when we got home ($40). What a surprise to learn the vehicle had been in an accident. This wasn't a dealbreaker as I still believed the "over-reporting" by Carfax the dealer told us and figured it was a fender bender. We went forward with the pre-purchase inspection ($100). My trusted AAA mechanic said the vehicle had been near-totaled and the damage hadn't been repaired very well. It was quite obvious when the mechanic showed me. I'm not sure why the dealer's mechanic didn't catch it. The car had been pulling to the right and it turns out this was due to a bent strut that hadn't been repaired. There were also some issues with the emissions equipment. The dealer showed me paperwork of what had supposedly been repaired when I noted that the vehicle had failed emissions in June, 2017. When I got home I realized what I had was an estimate, not a guarantee that the work had been done. The vehicle ran a little rough about 25% of the time so I asked the mechanic to look into it. He said it was running like it was "trying to throw codes" (in other words, emissions problems). My mechanic advised me to pass. I was cordial and polite, but told the dealer based on the pre-purchase inspection we no longer wanted the vehicle. When we returned it, the salesman (Martin) and the owner (Chuck) made all kinds of excuses about how the damage was minor and there wasn't anything wrong with it. They showed no interest in my report from the mechanic and kept insisting the vehicle was fine. I didn't say anything because I just wanted my deposit back without any hassle. Chuck remained cordial, but fast-talking Martin turned quite surly. I did receive my deposit back even though I spent $140 for nothing. I don't know how they could deny a report from AAA mechanic, or damage I could see with my own eyes. I didn't receive an apology nor was there any concern that someone could buy an unsafe money-pit. If there had been any regret or offers to fix the emissions and the strut, this would've been a different review. It could be a good car for someone with the problems fixed and full-disclosure of the accident. Honesty is worth gold, or in this case, a sale. If anyone wants the Carfax or has any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

The dealership is spotless, organized, and everyone we met was genuinely friendly, not the "I've had six coffees and a quota to hit" kind of friendly, but actual friendly. Our salesperson Sean was an absolute rockstar. His knowledge of the Kia EV9 is next-level, seriously, the guy could teach a master class on this thing. He explained every detail in plain English, answered every question without missing a beat, and somehow managed to make torque, charging rates, and drive modes sound exciting. Sean made the whole experience feel more like chatting cars with a buddy than sitting through a sales pitch. Jacob was also awesome, super helpful and made sure everything behind the scenes ran smooth as butter. Together, Sean and Jacob made a dream team. The whole dealership runs like a well-tuned engine, clean, professional, and welcoming. Even the coffee was good (and I'm picky about coffee). You can tell they actually care about their customers and take pride in what they do. If you're even thinking about checking out a Kia, especially the EV9, go see Sean and Jacob at Kia of Puyallup. You'll leave with a smile, a great car, and maybe even a new favorite dealership. The Kia EV9 is flat-out awesome, it's like driving the future but without the sci-fi soundtrack. The instant torque, smooth acceleration, and whisper-quiet ride make every trip feel effortless. No gas stations, no oil changes, just plug in and go. The tech inside is incredible too, from the massive screens to the ambient lighting and smart features that actually feel smart. After experiencing this level of comfort, power, and efficiency, I honestly can't imagine ever going back to a gas engine again. Once you go electric, everything else just feels... outdated.
