    Zero hassle, and an absolute pleasurable experience. No haggling needed...I got the best price right out of the gate. Daniel was amazing, knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond. Finance was top notch and we actually had fun signing papers. Who has experiences like this? Well, go to Korum Hyundai and you will.

    This was by far the best car buying experience I've ever had. Mason is very knowledgeable about the vehicles and has a no pressure approach. He was very engaged with me and made me feel valued as a customer. The dealership is very clean and everyone I interacted with was friendly and happy to help. 10 out 10 recommended for

    Scratches

    Had my car serviced there, and they used an autowasher on it, which I never personally use as it can damage my vinyl. I got it back scratched to hell with brush-like marks on the trunk. Service manager Keith asked to see the car, I wasted an hour and a half driving it out there and sitting and waiting for him to come take a look at it. He claimed that it's impossible for their brushes to make that mark, but he lied to me and said if I bring it out again the detailer can buff it out for me. I don't have availability during the time the detailer was available so I had my girlfriend drive it over, which he assured me was fine. After making her wait there for 2 hours they said it's not their fault "it must have been a box or something" and buffing it wouldn't fix it, so there's nothing they're going to do about it. My family was planning on getting the Tucson soon, but it sure as hell wont be from this dealership.

    Bad experience at new business and all down hill from there with the service department as well. Could not pick up or return calls, could not answer emails, could not get an appointment in a timely manner. Finally got in because my wrong way alert just goes off randomly on my brand new 2023 palisade. They seem to think this should just be tolerated. Got in for what was suppose to be a 2 hour appointment and after 5.5 hours Keith, the manager had no clue and then tried to lie about how he said it would be no more than two hours. Well he said it in an email LOL. Very rude over there. Glad I found out now and will gladly get serviced somewhere that isnt seemingly falling apart. Would give a 0 if I could!

    Do not buy a car here, do not get your car fixed here. In fact, don't buy a Hyundai Tucson. Long read, but worth it. Don't make the mistakes we did. In 2016 my husband bought a brand new Hyundai Tucson. He was so pleased with it, he even referred his sister to buy a car here. Not more than 2 years later and roughly 40k miles on it (we drive a lot) and the car just starts breaking down. The transmission on this vehicle is horrendous. It constantly sticks or stalls when going to a rolling stop, entering a round about or slowing in an intersection for safety. EVERY time I took my car in for an oil change they say "well we don't notice anything wrong" or "you would have to pay for us to diagnose it". While I understand that its still a business, I am not the only one with this problem. I even heard another customer with the same car telling them the same thing after her oil change and they kept saying "nothing is wrong with it" or "we already did the recall". THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THESE CARS. I told them multiple times on several occasions that the transmission stalls and they were not interested in even driving it in their parking lot without $160. Fast forward to 2021, after paying ~$2,000 for the extended warranty, then another $750 every 15k miles after 30k miles and this car continues to take a dive. The heat went out in the middle of winter this year. I called to make an appointment and dropped my car off. Then they had to order a part and I had to pay another $100 for the deductible from my warranty. They said "part will be in next week and we will give you a call!".... no call the following week, no update either. Then I call them the week after, furious because no one bothered to update me. "Oh well the part is on back order so it will be another week". GREATTTTT I will continue to be without heat and just keep calling for updates then. Finally, part comes in. They fix the car very quickly and I am pleasantly surprised! I walk in, pick up my car and drive off. HEAT. STILL. DOESNT. WORK. Furious, I call them immediately and explain that I just took $30 worth of ubers after dropping off my car and the heat still ISNT WORKING. They told me to drop it back off, which I did and they would take a look. Couple days later, car is fixed. A few weeks later (today), heat goes out AGAIN. I call once more, still furious I paid my deductible with heat not working again, to have them fix it ONCE MORE. They tell me today, "we don't have an appointment for 5 days". Seriously?!?!? You mean to tell me, the thousands I spent on the warranty, the thousands I spent maintaining the warranty and the $100 deductible I paid for YOU TO FIX THE HEAT doesn't get me in same day? YOU DID NOT ACTUALY FIX THE HEAT. Why is it the middle of the winter and now this is the third time I am bringing it back for you to fix AGAIN and I have to wait for you to have time? WHY AM I WAITING ON YOU TO FIX WHAT YOU SAID YOU ALREADY FIXED!!!!!!!!!! FIX MY CAR SO I CAN GET RID OF IT. Transmission constantly sticks, heat has gone out on drivers side now 3 times. And every 15k miles requires a $750 "check up". GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

    Huge shout out to our Car Salesman Andrew Cowan for the great experience purchasing our BRAND NEW dazzling Hyundai Veloster N! Highly recommend Puyallup Korum Hyundai. When it comes to buying and trading cars, reaching an agreement can get ruthless and toxic. While you can find that atmosphere down the entire S Tacoma Way, you will NOT find that here at Korum Hyundai. My husband spearheaded starting the process with trading in my previous car and purchasing our new one. It will always be lengthy in some way or another, hence, I was grateful how Korum Hyundai kept in touch and worked with him. He was working with a few employees via phone before making headway on a deal with Andrew. We stopped by in person to meet, trade, finalize and purchase! The finance meeting is usually where there's a lot of pressure, anxiety, and sketch. However, the finance man Tom didn't play the typical games and tricks. He was humble, kind, upfront and makes it clear he finances cars AND helps people. For example, there was a moment where I lost focus, since something in my husband's personal life came up. Tom understood and made sure to take his time with us, checking in with me to make sure I'm okay and happy so far. I remember him saying something along the lines of, 'I want to make sure you leave happy today, not regretful or remorseful. That hurts us, you, everyone. We don't want that to happen!'. Tom worked his magic that night and got us a great deal! Now when it came to the car sales side Andrew, our car salesman, was the best match for us. He is a unique car salesman, fun, energetic, down to Earth, and a Veloster EXPERT! We couldn't have worked with a better sales guy! He went above and BEYOND continuously for us the entire process. One example is at the end of the long trade and purchase night, Andrew made sure we left the dealership with a strong understanding of the features and perks of our new car. He could've drove home after all business was passed and done, but he offered time to go more in depth about our car. His genuine appreciation of Hyundai Velosters and selling them have made us TRULY grateful. Andrew and my husband are both colossal car enthusiasts which definitely helped them connect at a deeper level. They both spoke the car lingo that I would need a translator to understand! This place is gem if you are looking to purchase or trade a car. Everyone was so patient, helpful, down to Earth and upfront about everything. If my review is not enough, it looks like i'm not the only one with a great experience. Give them a call and ask for Andrew!

She's awesome! My husband and I are in a bad way financially right now, and Tana has already secured my business with reassurance, kindness, and payment plan options for whatever we might need done. I think we can actually handle this! I am breathing much easier, and my shoulders are dropping. I didn't know that regulating one's nervous system could be done by an auto shop! O_O We reached out to RCR because of these positive reviews. They really help - write reviews, people! We are looking for a mechanic we can truly get behind and be loyal to. We also want to be able to wholeheartedly recommend to friends, family, and clients (I'm a mental health counselor and my clients are almost all struggling, too!). It is SUCH a thing, the treasure of finding an upstanding and authentic mechanic (and wife)! I feel that what they quoted me for their standard initial visit is not only fair but also extremely competitive. We'll see what else is in store. Stay tuned!

    A MILLION OUT OF TEN, DO RECOMMEND!…read more We've been having some car issues for a few months, and unfortunately, we've been screwed over at other local shops that have a) lied to us about actual issues to try and get us to pay more, b) have had insane prices. Normally I take to Yelp for everything (duh), but I decided to post in a local Facebook mom's group about our recent issues in search of a mechanic that is tried, true, and reliable. River City Repair was suggested by another local mom, and from there it was less than a WEEK that we had our car up and running with no shady business done. Mark, the owner, actually owns two tow trucks and was able to come tow my vehicle for an incredibly affordable price to the shop. Not only that, but they called me their next business day before 9am with a diagnosis and price. From approving the fixes to the car being ready (and there was a laundry list) it took 48 hours.... 48 HOURS! They worked incredibly fast for the work that needed to be done. And for 8 total things that needed to be fixed (a couple that were major and made it so we couldn't drive the car), we were out the door for parts and labor for less than $2,500. My husband was dumbfounded at their honesty and affordability after a year of dealing with car issues/shady businesses between the two of us. We were ready to throw in the towel and scrap the car and just buy something new even though we reallllly didn't want to, so I am SO glad I posted on that page and was introduced to River City Repair. I met Mark's wife, Tana, over Facebook and she was the one who put all of the gears into motion to get us scheduled to even offering a one-time free diagnostic to help out a local fellow mom. Mark personally drove the truck to pick our car up and he was such a kind, personable guy - even down to showing our two year old truck-obsessed son a few things on the tow truck (and totally making his day). Mark made a comment about his clients becoming like family, and I can TOTALLY see why. They're such great, honest people and this is the epitome of a small local business being a pillar in their community. Hands down we have found our go-to shop. Thank you to the entire River City Repair team for all of their kindness and hard work!

    I hate leaving negative reviews when I previously left a good one some years back. So I took my…read more2007 Avalanche in to be serviced in 2023, was told it's a collapsed lifter, asked to have it fixed and they worked on it for over a week and finally said it was in need of a new motor; they couldn't get the oil pressure to reach that one one cylinder. I was told "they wouldn't charge me for that work and if sucked they had put so much resources and time into it." Well they got the new engine and installed it within my truck, some weeks later I took it back because my driveway was riddled with oil leaks and I was told it was a transmission leak which they charged me to fix. Well it continued leaking but due to trusting in Larry and his team from previous experiences I just assumed they did an inspection and all was good. Well after two years of it....had someone that owns an avalanche truck ask me last week about my truck and I gave him the spill on its leaking oil I know but with receipts and being told it's not, I think it is. He looked at it and being an airplane mechanic for commercial airlines, he examined with his eyes and quickly pointed out the oil gasket seal looks to be the root cause of oil literally being sprayed along the entire undercarriage of my truck. He took a zip tie and was able to slide it with ease into a space. Well lo and behold, he offers to fix it because he previously fixed his own and I helped... guess what.... The gasket was improperly installed and in fact the main cause of my oil leak. Well sad to say, because they overlooked it, my truck is back to tapping like it was before they attempted to fix the lifters and installed the engine. Sadly, I played over 5k for a replaced engine to have it possibly needing to be replaced again two years later because of a lapse in quality control of $25-$30 oil pan gasket cover. I did call them yesterday and mentioned pricing for labor and parts to replace an oil pan gasket and it's 600.00 excluding tax. This guy installed it with my minimal help and after laying cardboard underneath my truck... not one drop of oil from it sitting all night. Really disappointed and I understand mistakes happen, but I kept calling and telling them it was an oil leak and being the "professionals" and with such good previous experiences with them.. I assumed they knew best. Now I'm kicking myself that I didn't take it to someone else for a second inspection years ago.

The new U joint the guy could not get all the needle bearings just said screw it and boy was it howling..tech ciuld not have tesr or u joint howling would have been painfully apparart..Anyway leave his shop 3300 lighter and my truck overheats on hwy 18 heading fot Idaho..Remembef now no coolant..I limp back and he says he cant get me NV ack in for a wk. And fifty cars are ahead of me....We are in litigation..Please so many options why use this fool , Jimmy Cole
