Last month I bought a 2008 Chevy Suburban 2500 from here with the intent to pull my travel trailer that I was moving into. While I was treated well, within weeks of purchase the car started pouring gas and when taken to a shop it was found there was a giant HOLE in the exhaust that had been there for some time and eventually melted the fuel lines. I tried using the "warranty" bought from them but alas, it does not cover these parts. After taking nearly 2 weeks of back and forth saying they would help me, I was told today their mechanic does not have time for this. Meanwhile, I have been without a car for nearly 3 weeks as I have been going between the shop it was towed to and the dealership. My trailer needs moved soon and I have to once again pay someone else to move it (which I just had to do 3 weeks ago), which defeats the entire purpose of buying this vehicle to begin with. I will be reporting this to every agency possible because I was told this was incredibly dangerous and my car could have blown up! Aside from the major issue, there were multiple other things including bad brake pads on the car. While I understand that there is always a risk of buying a used car, these are issues that are dangerous and the car never should have been sold like this! Shame on Austin's Auto sales!!!

Broken exhaust bolts and Boost leaks

I purchased. 2007 Chevy Silverado 6.6 Duramax from them, had very low miles and I looked over it and found little needed for the truck as I thought, no engine lights no codes dash was clear it ran good for the test drive and was sound. Truck ended up blowing two up pipes and leaving me down without a vehicle for several weeks and a huge repair bill. I was told the truck has nothing wrong with it but mechanics found Trans leaks, Several Boost leaks and broken hardware under the exhaust systems and the check engine light came on a day after I left with it. Be aware of what you buy here! They will finance you out the door any way possible and do anything they can to make a grimy sale and clear codes for the mean time. These vehicles are bought at auctions with little maintenance done to prepare them for sales and the employees beat on them regularly to trot around town in... Please stay clear and don't do business with Austin's specially Jerry/Moe/Austin.

He is very knowledgeable about every model and even takes pride in explaining where each car is built and how that influences the overall experience. You can tell he truly understands his product and cares about helping customers make the right choice. What stood out the most was how personalized he made everything. My husband and I drive very differently, and Casey created specific test drive routes for each of us. He offered a more dynamic route for my husband and a calm, low traffic route for me since I am a more anxious driver. This level of thoughtfulness made me feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. Casey consistently goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are informed, confident and taken care of. My family and I will continue returning to him for all future purchases. I highly recommend working with him if you want someone who is honest, patient and truly committed to customer satisfaction.

AVOID THIS PLACE AND BUY ELSEWHERE!…read more If you are looking for a place to purchase or service your vehicle, you are doing yourself a GREAT disservice by visiting this location. I purchased a vehicle from this location and purchased the extended warranty. I called today and said "Hey, I purchased my vehicle here and I bought the extended warranty. I have a noise I would like to get checked out. Can I come in or do we have to make an appointment." Instead of offering assistance and being happy to help, they made every dumb reason they could to NOT come there which I will detail below. 1. We can't help with your car because we arent certified Nissan technicians. -OK you dont even know what the problem or sound I am describing and you are already telling me that you cant help me. Who says the repair I need requires a certified Nissan technician. I can go to any average mechanic and they are perfectly capable if they have a business standing on its own two legs to perform repairs- again of which is currently not even known what the issue is. 2. We dont have the tools -So you can service every element of other GMC/Chev/Buick but without even knowing my issue you feel the need to direct me elsewhere behind "not being able to read the codes of a Nissan"? I am not stupid. You are perfectly capable with the tools you have to determine the issue, read codes (if any), and fix the problem 3. We dont stock the parts -News flash, most repairs require parts to be ordered. Again, you dont even know what is wrong with my vehicle and you use this an an excuse to encourage me to go elsewhere. You just like anybody else, have the resources and are perfectly capable to order parts required for a repair. 4. Well we haven't seen you since 2022 for your oil changes -Ya, because jiffy lube is 3 minutes from my house, I can roll up, stay in my car, and be done in 10 minutes, rather than my experience of making an appointment, driving 40 minutes to your location, more expensive, and I have to sit in your sales lobby for the duration of oil change which hopefully you prepared well for and were ready to start doing right when I turn it over What this comes down to is they want to sell you a car to get as much of your money as possible then, connect you with their lenders to get their commission there, sell you a warranty they wont support and get their commission there, and encourage you to go elsewhere when you have a problem. The truth is a warranty company fights to keep a mechanic honest at appropriate rates of repair that you obviously have no desire to deal with. It wasn't until I pointed out to the individual that they have given me all the reasons under the sun to not go here and indicated they have lost my trust and given me all the reason to no longer purchase my vehicles from their location did he change his tune and say, "oh well we would be glad to have you come by on Tuesday and by the way the diagnosis is $250" for a problem I have only described as a noise on cold start that you already stated "you are not certified to repair, that you don't have the tools for, and that you don't have the parts for, and that you would have to wait on Nissan to bring their people in so it'll just take longer than going elsewhere." I'll be sharing this on all platforms. People deserve to know that you are incompetent and incapable of repairing vehicles that you sell, or are simply only in the business for the highest paying pieces of it.

We scheduled an appointment and drove down to Olympia the next day. When we first got there we were given a paper application and then were told that in order to be approved for a loan, we would have to trade in our other car (that was in a repo status). We specifically put on the application that we didn't want to trade in any car. We had made plans outside of the dealership to sell privately, but were told that it was a stipulation of the bank and we didn't have any option. We were hesitant, but continued with the paper application. Jonas ended up 'finding a way' to make it work without a trade in. Things started out a bit rocky, but got better the longer we were there. Jonas ended up getting me and my husband into a nice, clean, solid car (2014 VW Passat). He was very helpful and friendly. He listened to our needs and worked around our bad credit. He was straight up, no pressure. We are so happy with our purchase and would definitely buy from him again. Jeff O. helped us finalize the sale documents and seal the deal. He was experienced and friendly and worked with Jonas behind the scenes to get us the car we wanted. The reason for 4 not 5 stars was because of the trade in mixup and that they went to the gas station and gave us a little under a half tank after we bought the car. For us it's the little things that make all the difference, so I would suggest that they fill the tank up for new car buyers, especially on cars above $10k. It would be nice to have seen the CarFax as well. Other than those very minor things, these guys were absolutely awesome!! I would definitely purchase from them again. This place was legit. :)

Ryan was open and honest about what we could afford and Joe helped match us with a car that was perfect for our situation. They did not pressure us into a vehicle that was outside of our budget even though we were approved for more. I highly recommend this place! A great overall, low-pressure, experience. They lose a couple of stars because the car was not detailed to our expectations. There were nasty stains on the carpet, seats and crevices, grease, and trash from the previous owner. This is more of an indictment of the I-5 Cars service team. However, we postponed buying the car a couple of days for them to "detail" the vehicle and it looks as if they only did a surface wipe. To their credit, WAC did offer to take a look at the problem and possibly rectify the issue. We ultimately decided to a pay for a detailing professional to do the job since losing trust in their service capabilities and not wanting to drive back out to their location. Still a location I'd recommend to anyone looking to buy a new or used car.

The dealership is spotless, organized, and everyone we met was genuinely friendly, not the "I've had six coffees and a quota to hit" kind of friendly, but actual friendly. Our salesperson Sean was an absolute rockstar. His knowledge of the Kia EV9 is next-level, seriously, the guy could teach a master class on this thing. He explained every detail in plain English, answered every question without missing a beat, and somehow managed to make torque, charging rates, and drive modes sound exciting. Sean made the whole experience feel more like chatting cars with a buddy than sitting through a sales pitch. Jacob was also awesome, super helpful and made sure everything behind the scenes ran smooth as butter. Together, Sean and Jacob made a dream team. The whole dealership runs like a well-tuned engine, clean, professional, and welcoming. Even the coffee was good (and I'm picky about coffee). You can tell they actually care about their customers and take pride in what they do. If you're even thinking about checking out a Kia, especially the EV9, go see Sean and Jacob at Kia of Puyallup. You'll leave with a smile, a great car, and maybe even a new favorite dealership. The Kia EV9 is flat-out awesome, it's like driving the future but without the sci-fi soundtrack. The instant torque, smooth acceleration, and whisper-quiet ride make every trip feel effortless. No gas stations, no oil changes, just plug in and go. The tech inside is incredible too, from the massive screens to the ambient lighting and smart features that actually feel smart. After experiencing this level of comfort, power, and efficiency, I honestly can't imagine ever going back to a gas engine again. Once you go electric, everything else just feels... outdated.
