I had a terrible experience buying a vehicle from CarHub, largely due to the salesperson, Jessica. I purchased a 2016 Ford Explorer that already had serious existing issues, which were not disclosed to me at the time of sale. I was naïve going into the process, and it's obvious now that this was taken advantage of.
Shortly after driving off the lot, the check engine light came on. When I contacted Jessica, she told me it was related to the TPMS light--something that turned out to be completely untrue. After having the vehicle properly inspected, I learned it needs two new turbos, a new catalytic converter, and a new timing chain. The total cost of repairs is more than the value of the car itself.
This vehicle should never have been sold without full disclosure, and the misinformation I was given only made the situation worse. While the cars on the lot may look nice, you truly don't know what you're getting here.
I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious before buying from CarHub. Learn from my mistake and get everything independently inspected before signing anything. read more
