Staff is super knowledgeable about the beans they roast in house and easy to chat coffee with. The quality of beans served hits every time, never burned or over roasted. Retail beans have a stellar variety for roast level and bean origin-- everything I've tried has a unique flavor profile and is roasted to compliment each bean for what it is. Most recent bean I took home was a light roast Colombia Juan Puerta mango co-ferment, and it was perfect for a Chemex pour over. Dude behind the counter helped me choose a good bean that day to fit what I was craving, and helped me learn more about the what a co-ferment bean was.

I did ask the barrista a few general questions that she answered with a warm big smile. It's very cute and cozy inside. It really stands out on the corner there. The bad: the workers seem to never be having the best day and don't even look you in the eyes. No biggie. Then the food, particularly the bagel breakfast sandwiches, on my now 2nd visit have been an absolute nightmare to eat. Completely messy and falling apart. Way too much put on the bagels and they don't even fully cut them in half. So here I am ripping this bagel apart while half the sandwich falls out of my hand. Like I expressed, this is the 2nd visit I've had (first a date) where the sandwich is just a messy nightmare. Tasted just okay. But man, I don't know what it is with the globs of avocado/cream cheese but seriously. Hope this gets fixed. Neat place otherwise.

As for sports, I know nothing about that but they did in fact have 4 TVs playing sports so I can confirm sports were indeed present at the establishment. Great place. Great coffee. Sports.
