Lines are usually long since it's on the college campus but the open early and staff is usually always friendly. They give nice suggestions on coffee ideas and are easy to talk to. There is usually a few spots open inside to sit and study for awhile which is always nice too. read more

I door dashed an order from this location. It told me my order would be received around 2:05 pm, i actually got it at 2:45 pm. I had 2 medium coffees, a breakfast sandwich, 2 orders of hash-browns, and one donut. I received everything but the donut after already instructing the store to replace it with a different flavor if they were out. There were also no straws in the bag. Clean store with an comfortable and inviting open space, including more than 11 tables that range from 2 persons to 8-10 people long meeting/communal sized tables, allowing customers to sit and enjoy their drinks and or get together with friends to study, even have meetings with Starbucks coffee and food to keep everyone happy. They also have a pair of comfy leather single seats Staffs are professional and efficient, was impressed by the quality of their training. Just to see what the fuss was about Dunkin', I got the exact same drink I usually get, drip coffee with a shot of espresso, honey and cream. And what a difference...! I imagine Starbucks and Dunkin' are both pretty similar in terms of their corporate branding and marketing strategy, and they both most likely have excellent training programs. And the great difference that we experience as customers must come from the people who are on the ground providing direct service to patrons. Good job Starbucks on East Main Street. Last but not really the least, this was the only coffee shop that was open at 5 am so bonus points for that ‍ read more

Used the drive through recently and had fast/friendly service and it was the best Iced Chocolate Almond Milk Shaken Espresso I have had. I have visited at least 10 different stores while traveling and this one was the only one that got the flavor right! read more

So I have Tourette's syndrome and I stutter a lot and I see random things often. The workers here smile and wait patiently for me to finished talking and they are genuinely nice people. Having a stutter makes it really difficult for me to go through drive-through's and I've honestly never had a bad interaction at the Starbucks because again they're just genuinely so nice and they take their time and will genuinely listen to you for whatever you need. 10/10 place read more

This location is seriously awesome and has great customer service. I stupidly spilled my drink on accident while eating breakfast and they remade it for free! They had no obligation to do that since I was more than willing to buy another one, but they kindly did it anyway. It seriously made my crappy morning a lot better. Coffee and college. They go together like peanut butter and jelly! No better way to keep your eyes open for that exam than a nice hot cup of Starbucks love. Makes me happy to see another generation benefiting from my dear sweet honey boo boo! Kent has needed another Starbucks since....well, since the other one opened. The old location had no parking, no drive thru (gasp) and limited seating. But this location? UPGRADE BABY! Located in a brand new plaza right on Kent Rd, this puppy is smack dab across from campus. She is equipped with plenty of table seating, a cute patio, LOTS of parking and (drum roll please) A DRIVE THRU! The fit and finishes inside of this beauty are fantastic. A great retail area to pick up some Starbucks gear and food and COLD BREW NITRO! YASSSS. Everyone I have met who works here are super nice. In fact, several are trainees from the Starbucks I frequent in Streetsboro. Awesome sauce! Stop in and help pop this new locations cherry! read more

Every time I come back into town the service is fast and friendly. The cafe is clean and they haven't messed up my orders. The lines have been long in the mornings, but they went by fast. I like this one better than the one down the road actually. read more

Oh, and if you want to know the best part of the whole experience....they will mess up your drink no matter what you order! I cannot understand the disconnect in this store. Most of them came from the location down the street and were amazing. I have no idea what happened, but this is BAD! read more

I don't get coffee every day, and I only ever get coffee from this location on some Friday mornings, so I'll preface this by saying that it may just be the Friday morning slog. I don't know and can't judge the rest of the store, and I know nothing of the employees other than that their customer service personality is relatively superb - no problems there. That being said, I've ordered the same drink (White Chocolate Mocha), prepared the same way (Ristretto, no other alterations), at 4 separate visits (ordered through mobile) in the last 30 days, and every single time it has been incorrect in some fashion. If it had been one or two times I would understand--people have bad days and sometimes it happens; however, it's gotten worse with each order I've made. At first it was just minor quality things like slightly less sweet or pumps sinking to the bottom of the cup, things that are easily excused and ignored. Unfortunately, this morning I ordered and they gave me a drink that legitimately tastes like milk mixed with espresso with no hint of the white mocha flavoring. There's almost no sugar, and I know the pumps didn't sink to the bottom because there isn't any sweetness down there either. Again, I don't come to this location often. Even so, I'm throughly disappointed; if I'd had an incorrect order once or twice, I'd understand, but four times in a month is too far for me to ignore as a consumer. read more

I prefer this Starbucks because they have nitro cold brew and they have a drive through and that makes me very happy. The service is always really good here, and the one time that it was slow and took a while to get my order, they gave it to me for free without me saying a word. read more

Typical menu. Cavernous space with zero warmth, not cozy. Surprised there was a lack of chairs although there is plenty of room. You'd think that being close to the university they'd have more so students can sit, but maybe they don't want people to hang around. If they played ambient music it was inaudible, lost in the giant space and the noisy machines. Also, a sign for the location's IG proclaims it as NorthKentSBux- this is east Kent, not north. read more

I went through the drive through this morning and ordered a grande pike place with the toasted whites chocolate mocha syrup, and a few breakfast sandwiches for my family. My coffee had maybe one pump of the syrup in it and tasted like black coffee, and having ordered it other times at other locations I could tell the difference. This was disappointing because not only was it unpleasant for me to drink but I paid extra for something that I couldn't even taste. Also my sandwich had no bacon on it, which I know it comes prepackaged but you'd think there'd be some measure of quality control. I completely get that it's a new location and I'm sure they were busy but, being a poor college student, spending $8 on breakfast is a splurge and it sucks when it's a big disappointment. The main reason I'm posting a yelp review is because I'd tried to contact the store but there's no phone number listed anywhere for this location (probably because it's new?) so I had no way of contacting them directly. But overall it just was just an unfortunate experience and makes me hesitant to go there again, despite how super convenient for me. read more

Starbucks right down the road from a Starbucks. What can you expect. Coffee is alright. There are plenty of other local coffee joints to support. Their coffee is good. Price is high-ish as with every Starbucks. It is what it is. I still go there because of the drive-thru if I don't have a lot of time. read more
