Enjoyable Winery for relaxing in the various rooms scattered about in this historic building. High quality wines. I recommend staying in the tasting room if actually interested in discussing the wines being tasted.

Night of wine and bistro fair.

A nice night out. It was a beautiful evening so we had a glass of wine, a cheese cracker and sausage plate, a Mediterranean flat bread on the front lawn. There was music tonight to add to the night. Inside a very cool Victorian home is the wine tasting and bistro with seating. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful when choosing our wine. Definitely recommend the flat breads. Oh and we left with a couple of bottles of wine too!

One of my favorite places in Green Bay! The wine is awesome and the staff are super sweet and friendly! I always enjoy my time here!

As someone who doesn't do wine, I was thrill to hear they did cider tastings. 4 uniquely offered varieties (bourbon barrel brown, passion fruit, wisconsin maple brown, and cold brew (made with local apples and Honduran coffee). The artisan charcuterie was an insanely nice value. For $8.99, it had espresso, merlot, and blueberry cobbler cheeses along with summer sausage, prosciutto, and apples cider sausage for meats! Staff was super welcoming on a pretty empty 4th of July lunch crowd.

Cute place to have a couple drinks and unwind! The wines were pretty tasty! The Meritage was my favorite of the 4 I had, with the Riesling 2nd. Owner and bartender were very friendly and gave us a brief history of the location. Would definitely come back if I were in the area again.

Wine and cider flight and artisan meats and cheese plate

We had a blast at Captains Walk! The ladies were friendly and knowledgeable with helping us choose the perfect flight of wines and ciders. The Door County Cherry cider was a favorite! We had the artisan cheese and meat board also, which paired nicely with all of our flight selections. It's a very cozy atmosphere! We told everyone about it and we can't wait to go back!

This place is super cute ! I should've took more pictures but the staff (I don't even want to call them that) were super nice and helpful. I did the $5 wine tasting and fell in love with the Wisconsin Maple Brown Cider .... it's delicious now my favorite angry orchard has competition :-) So sad I didn't find this place prior to our departure but I will return for sure !! They have different events you can attend throughout the month , they have a space you can rent out .... cute for a girl outing , private wine tasting etc. Small boutique shop for people like me who have to buy something everywhere they go :-) Everything was clean .... they have plenty of parking and AGAIN it's Super Cute !!

I found this gem in the heart of Green Bay 4 years ago when I was invited to a wine tasting. Look, if you like wine and you are coming to Green Bay to take in a game or tour of the stadium and you like wine: this place is made for you. Do a wine tasting which is very inexpensive. The staff working will tell you about the wine and anything u need to know and more. This place was once a home. Said to be haunted: Elisha Morrow built the home in 1857 for his wife, a local woman named Josephine Sayre and his six beautiful daughters. The second youngest daughter, Helen Morrow, inherited the home and owned it until 1920. She was forced to sell the house due to financial hardship. Since 2006, Captain's Walk Winery has been this house's latest tenant. I have been told the lights will flicker around 2-3 each day. I inquired about this and found it always happens and just here and there. The power company can. OT find anything wrong with any wiring. But it is the whole house/building that flickers! Well true story: today( 11/12/19) with my daughter today around 2pm the lights did flicker. I have to say: it kinda was cool! Staff have personally told me about books falling off shelves, hearing footsteps upstairs well after the winery is closed & no one is upstairs, glasses just falling off shelves. You get the idea.... Now back to this great place and my review: the staff is so very friendly and knowledgeable. There is not only a tasting room but another area you can just sit down and have your glass of wine. Small menu, but cool snacks that are out of this world. Get the cheese and meat plat. Only $9-$10, goes with the wine great, and all the various meats and cheeses are the best of the best from local markets. There is rooms upstairs that you can reserve for friends after a tasting. This place is super cool. Check out some of my photos. Oh, and I posted a picture of Helen Morrow's picture as well with my pictures.

Captains walk winery comes up with some really fun pairings for their flights. I'm not a cider person normally but paired with the candy, it really brought out the unique flavors. I've also had their crimson wine slushees which are smooth. They have cheese plates and flatbreads that pair well with their wines.

Great wine, tasty food, regular deals, and fun events make Captain's Walk Winery one of my favorite stops in Grean Bay. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and can always guide you to something to please your palate. I recommend a premium red with a balsamic beef flatbread.

Some incredible improvements, and the wine is as good as always! Team is amazing and the new menu is creative and pairs well with the CW wine!

It's a shame the out door seating is limited to two tables. It seems like there could be a huge opportunity here.

This business makes there own Beer, wine and alcohol products where the diversity of what they make is kind of amazing considering the footprint/size of their facility. Relative to the tastings, these are free of charge where customers are encouraged to tip instead to show their appreciation for what they have been served. Duriing our trip here we tasted numerous spirits to include their house made gin, rum, vodka, Brandy, Bourbon and various flavored moonshines. I thought the liquors with the exception of the Moonshines were just OK but the moonshines were surprisingly quite good. These 60 proof drinks come across like a liquor based on the alcohol by volume content with a similar creamy texture. The flavor profiles are quite unique to anything I have ever tasted before where their flavors include Grandma's Apple Pie, Salted Caramel, Orange Slice and Lemon Drop shine to name just some of them. Every Moonshine bottle we tasted was so tasty where I was really enamored with all of them and at the end of the day ended up buying the Lemon Drop and salted Caramel although it was hard to stop at just these two. Relative to the facility it has a non descript outer view where the inside comes across more of a typical bar venue more so than a winery/distillery which is a bit deceiving in my mind considering how much product they make here. No stacked wine barrels or a sneak peak of the Distillery or Barrel rooms to reinforce what this business is and add the cute ambiance you get at many of the wineries I visit. Relative to Staff, They were exceptionally friendly and good on the repours for our free tasting which definately added a lot to our tasting event. Overall a very pleasant time was had by our group where I see myself returning again in the future and sampling their other ware's and probably buying more moonshine!

I was mainly looking for an apple orchard but I won't turn down a winery/cidery/meadery option as well. This place isn't very big but they really pack in a lot of product in such a small footprint. Cheese, apples, honey, soap, syrup, etc. A great place to do some holiday shopping for the foodie in your family. Daily tastings are offered for only $6 for 5 samples and you pick from grape wine, fruit wine, cider and mead all produced onsite. We enjoyed all of the samplings we tried and ended up buying a few bottles of wine and mead to take back home with us. Prices are very reasonable and comparable, especially with their products being made with local, fresh ingredients. But back to the main reason why I had come to this place, apples. I was on the lookout for one of my favorite heirloom apples (Jonathans) while in Wisconsin and with Hammen's offering 250 varieties of apple varieties, I was sure to have luck on finding them. And I did! It was fun to walk the aisles of fresh apples and see what other unique varieties teased my interest. And at an affordable price point (I think it was only a couple dollars per pound), it was really easy to be adventurous and try out a few new to me types. I'm dropping a pin on the map - this place will definitely be a fresh apple pickup destination for me and the family seasonally. Well worth the road trip!
