Captain hooks runs an amazing dive shop the day prior to are dive we rented equipment just to do a small shore dive to get a bearings back Maddy was very helpful with the rental process. Now for are dive, the crew and the dive masters he had were all very good (first day was Gary and second day was Elaine I think) we did 2 dives both were 2 tank one was a morning dive and one was a sunset/night dive the sunset night dive was amazing your first dive would end right as the sun was setting you would come up watch the sunset then go back down and do the night dive. If your ever in marathon go through Captain hooks! I was blow away by how good everything was run! If your in keys looking for a company to dive with dive with captain hooks

Max was an amazing instructor. After a last minute hiccup, he was able to "dive" right in and help me finish my SDI certification. Capts. Matt and Daniel were very informative, safe, and good drivers. Skylar and Wayne lead scenic dives that divers saw plenty of wildlife and healthy coral on. Thank you Denise for setting us up and taking last minute add-ons. Thank you Captain Hook's for a great weekend! Best bubbles, Richlyn & Chris

This crew was a ton of fun! Super time with Captain Steve, mate Maddie and instructor David! But the win of all wins was our dive master guide Lee! Fantastic dives. Saw the biggest eel I have ever seen, a huge puffer fish, conch and so many other fish. The reefs were awesome. We will be back and will request Lee for sure! Thank you to our dive crew for a great day today!

Professional, easy to work with and had everything you need! Captain Ron and the divemaster (female, but don't remember her name) made us feel safe and looked after. All of the equipment and sunscreen were great. This was top notch, professional service. If you are prone to seasickness Captain Ron said to take a naseau pill at bedtime the night before and one that day. Seemed like a helpful tip.

We spent three days diving with this shop and had a fantastic experience. Alyssa was our dive master on our first day and was amazing. She put us at ease and was so calm and in charge. She was knowledgeable and made it a wonderful experience. We had Hayden from Big Pine on day 2 and he did a great job too. The area was beautiful and we had fantastic dives at Looe Key. We loved our time with Captain Hooks!

The boat is beautiful and the equipment is solid, but once you hit the water you're on your own. My situation turned dangerous fast. My rental mask (I'd left mine at home) wasn't sealing. I stayed on the surface too long trying to fix it and finally decided to swim back to the boat. It was over 400 yards away, the tide was pushing hard against me, and there was a moment where I genuinely didn't know if I could make it back. I could see both guides on the boat watching, but neither moved to help. When I finally reached the boat, I was yelled at to remove my fins while waves were crashing against the ladder. I had to climb back up, fully fatigued, in full scuba gear after fighting the current. Once I got on board, exhausted and barely able to move, one of the guides geared up and immediately jumped back in to continue the dive with the other client who had been assigned as my buddy. I was flabbergasted. Why would they help him and not me? After the trip I called the manager to try to understand why no one assisted me in the water. My call was never returned. I've been on many dive charters and have never experienced such a lack of in-water supervision or concern for diver safety. If you are expecting guided diving or any kind of help after you leave the boat, be aware that this is not that.

The instructors we dove with, KA, Tomos and Sonia were super patient and understanding of our different levels of experience.
