Plenty of space for a group or couples or all my your lonesome! The owners are so friendly, it's almost like eating a friend's home. Table covers and bright colors and brick walls make the space warm. The food (oh the food!!), is UH-making!! It's like eating at grandmama's house on Sunday but with a little world flavor. 5 types of grits dishes; grilled breakfast sandwiches, wraps & wings, pasta, on & on. Nothing too crazy-fancy, but a good variety. I tried the catfish & it was perfection!! The grits are plentiful and cooked smooth and tasty!! My southern MIL ate a side of grits with her shrimp and grits, they were so good. The coffee is simple K-cup but good. The kids drained their strawberry-lemonades. No complaints at out big table. I feel like this is a destination spot to eat when you come through! Seriously homemade food, cooked with love & history, and just a warm welcoming place! **Fair warning! This is a family-run spot. Don't come here if you're in a rush! Good food takes time to enjoy!**

Going through Elberton, GA and didn't want fast food. Found this place on Yelp and decided to give…read moreit a try. We are glad we did! From the start, we were welcomed and the server was pleasant and professional. We wanted one of each thing on the menu but decided to start with the appetizer soul rolls - chicken, Philly, and sweet potato. All were excellent and plenty to share among the 4 of us. The meals we got were the shrimp scampi, the shrimp and grits, the shrimp basket and the catfish nuggets with grits. All of the food was freshly prepared and served and the taste/ seasonings on each was very well done. There were no complaints of the food at all. The only challenge was finding the place because gps takes you to a parking lot in the back - so just walk around to the front of the alley and it's very nice with other shops there as well. We definitely will return and this time will be specifically for dinner and not just passing through
