However, we do eat here 3 or 4 times a month. It's usually myself and my husband, but last night was just myself. It took 10 minutes for a server to come to the table. I'd be fine with that time if they were constantly on the go, but that was not the case as I finally got their attention as the 2 servers were hanging at the bar. When the server brought my food, she literally dropped it on the table while walking by with no eye contact or words. Burger was totally wrong and I waited 5 + minutes for server to come and check on food. I finally had to go to front and say I needed to tab out but wasn't paying for burger. I'm telling you, I have eaten at a LOT of diners, and had a LOT of special burgers. But this is in my TOP TWO OF ALL TIME. I have a review of a place in the ghetto in East St. Louis called Tasteeburger. And the burger here at Ain't It Guud is easily just as good. I hate to say better just because there might be a recency bias involved. But I can confidently say it's the best burger I've had outside of the state of Illinois!
