Stopped in here for a late night breakfast and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. As soon as we walked in we were greeted so warmly that I thought that I might have known the person. WoW, so disappointing. Made a pick up order of 2 meals. One was a meat lovers omelette. It came with no meat and only a little bit of cheese on it. It had something extra though - eggshells.​ Eggshells! Disgusting. The hashbrowns were underdone and they forgot to put paper between the bread and hashbrowns, so the bread was soggy and inedible. Second meal was a BLT and fries. The bacon was wayy undercooked and was mostly fat. By the time I pulled off all the fat, there was barely anything left that resembled bacon. Fries were cold. No excuse cause I live only 4 minutes from Huddle House. They had a good cook a couple months ago. I guess there's another new cook again. read more

Excellent food! It tastes amazing! But the waitress is lacking greatly. She tells us she's going to get something and the she comes back 10 minutes later without it. We waited in napkins for 20 minutes. She was not very attentive at all but she was nice, I'll give her that. She just was never around when we needed/wanted something. We came in and sat down, she got our drink order and then it took 15 minutes to get that. Someone else came in behind us and they got their drinks within 5 minutes. She also took a break during our service. The sweet tea was watered down and lacking. I'm only giving 3 stars because they play Christian music. read more

Me and my friend when back in yesterday after they reopened after they shutdown because of the virus the food was great and so was the service and they made us feel welcome and they kept the 6 foot social destines that the state required. The number one Huddle House in the chain for a reason! If this kind of joint is not your thing, then you won't like it. But their food is always cooked just right and I've never had bad service. I know, but come on, anywhere will be slow on occasion - just go with the flow. And you don't smell like a greasy spoon when you leave! My sister-in-law and I went to the Huddle House in Hartwell, Ga last week. While waiting on our order I noticed the woman working the prep table reach her ungloved hand into a container of sliced tomatoes and pull a whole handful out and put them into a container to be used for orders. A few moments later she walked over to the cook and with the same ungloved hand she used to pull tomatoes out of a container pulled up his pants. All of this was done in the plain view of the day manager on duty. I looked at the Health Department Score sheet. It read 100. Do what you want but I will not go back to a restaurant whose day manager allows this flagrant unhygienic atmosphere. The cook had his gloves on. read more
