[ THE EXPERIENCE ] Mal's offers both fried & boiled seafood items and on our first visit we tried both. The FRIED CATFISH & SHRIMP PLATTER #1 includes two perfectly golden flaky fillets, six shrimp, fries, hush puppies and coleslaw. Excellent flavor in the breading of the catfish & shrimp, however, the coleslaw and hush puppies were just average, and the fries can be hit or miss.
