Beware!! Owner is very dishonest! We stopped by because one of the reviews mentioned that it was a family run business and that a lot of locals eat there. I'm pretty sure that the owner took our order. Our young daughter wanted the snow crab boil that is listed at market price. I asked what the price was and he told us $11.99 per pound. I said wow and repeated it back to him to be sure I had heard correctly. He said yes so we placed our orders He said he would bring it out to us and to grab some drinks from the cooler. The food arrived, we ate, and my husband went up to the register to pay. The bill was higher than expected. He asked again about the crab leg price. The guy told him, $19.99 per pound. My husband said, you said $11.99 per pound when we ordered. His smart a** reply, "We will never go back to those prices!" My husband incredulously paid the bill and asked for the receipt. He had actually charged us $24.25 per pound!! The "boil" didn't even have any seasoning, potatoes or corn!! We also got a roast beef poor boy, a couple of burgers and a couple of meat pies. It's ok. Convenient location for me. Medium clean. Food service is pretty good. You aren't really going somewhere like this for customer service but they are nice enough. Kinda hit and miss tho you can order the same thing sometimes it's good and sometimes not. read more

My yesterday order for two was a very disappointment one. Ordered a Seafood Plater, a Fish Plate. and pork egg rolls. The only decent side was the salad, although we have to add another tomato.. The grilled fish was burned, dry and no season at all; the popcorn and butterfly shrimps were almost burned, saltiest and so small that i couldn't recognize which was one. The pork egg roll was super fried and what was inside didn't taste as pork. Very sad to comment this way, but i trust the chef will improve the skills quickly or the business can suffer a lot. read more

I think I crave some form of seafood every other day. Unfortunately the only ones I know of are 20 minutes or more away. So I decided to take a risk and try a place not too far from my apartment. I called beforehand to see the price of crawfish. It was 5.89 (needless to say I was sold because the place I usually go to was charging 7.99/lb. Like I understand it's the beginning of the season but sheesh). Anywho, I was super surprised! The menu had a lot of things I honestly wanted to buy and try for the next time I go out! The crawfish was pretty good! Very spicy, which I like. And I got the pork egg rolls, they were good too. Crunchy and fried just right. WOW! This place is so non-descriptive in location it's a great find! Huge carry out business and a great menu too. I had the oyster poor boy that was heaping with oysters. I also had a shrimp boudin that I had not had before, it's a shrimp sausage, fried. While just OK, the spiciness was good and worth the try. Gumbo was not too thick and not too runny; it was the perfect consistency and served with rice. It had plump shrimp, sausage, and just a delicious hearty warm gumbo. Went with a group of friends and we all decided we wanted round 2 of gumbo the next day, that's how much we all liked it. Crawfish was the perfect amount of heat/spice and savory. The corn and sausage was good but the star was the turkey neck! So so tender, juicy, and savory. Chicken wings were the smaller ones, which to me are the perfect size. We stopped by here yesterday during lunch time and was NOT disappointed... Their crawfish was SOO freakin' good, y'all!!! Like, FOR REAL, for real. I've practically tried the boiled crawfish from every other seafood establishment in Kenner (most were decent, but not usually something to write home about... or would even merit a second visit), and this one is by far THE BEST!!! Location is a bit isolated from the rest of Williams Blvd., but it's totally worth the drive. P.S., they also sell poboys and seafood plates, but we didn't get a chance to try them yet... Will definitely do so the next time we stop by (honestly, I'm already planning on coming back sometime next week). The owner was extremely nice and accommodating, which is always an added bonus in my book. TIP: I'd suggest calling them in advance if you're coming for crawfish, because they can easily sell out on a weekday (they sold out while we were there). I found this little comfort food gem out in Kenner. OMG. The wings are piping hot-always, and the rice is so buttery with nicely sized shrimp. @captaindat504 seafood spot is so good! I read several reviews before trying this place. I experienced bad customer service with the gentleman taking my order. I had to wait for him to finish his texting before he finally gave me his attention. I ordered various items for 5 people. The shrimp Fried rice could use more seasoning, I ordered a large, there were a dozen very small shrimp on top, nothing after that. ​The chicken tenders were about the size of a ketchup packet but tasty, the hot sausage poboy was tasty but the meat was pretty burned. The fried shrimp on toast was fine, heavy on the batter. The service was not good which made me uncomfortable. There's other places in the area where I experienced better service. read more

This is a location I use to order from at least twice a week. I also placed larger orders with my former employer for parties. When my father came to visit me, I placed an order of 2 hot sausage and cheese poboys. My poboy was completely burnt. There was no taste of the sausage at all just brunt. I called this location back to inform them that the sandwich was burnt and tommy (if that's his real name) was completely rude. He over talked me when I was explaining to him that the sandwich was brunt and then went on to tell me to go somewhere else for my sandwich. I would expect this response if I was speaking to him harshly, or being completely belligerent or rude. However, we often joked when I came to this location since I was a regular and I gave this restaurant A LOT OF BUSINESS. Needless to say, me, my family, and associates have taken our business elsewhere. Tommy if you are reading this, you did not apologize once for speaking to me the way you did over the phone. In addition, I did not initially request my funds back until you became very disrespectful via phone. Honestly, if my father wasn't present with me, I'm sure you would've responded even worse. This was so distasteful and I will never purchase anything from you all again! Food: the best item to get from this location is the chicken plates. However, there's multiple items that has changed and I started getting elsewhere before this conflict. Crawfish is way too spicy and they say they're the cheapest locally. THAT IS NOT TRUE! The bread for the poboys are too hard and you may end up with brunt meat like I did. Their other platters are just simply not worth the price due to flavor and the amount they give you. I'm not a huge seafood person, but went here with family so I just planned on ordering what I usually get when a place serves poboys (roast beef).Their roast beef "poboy" is served cold. We had our first meal of Mardi Gras weekend here and what a great way to start off our trip. We tried a little bit of everything off of the menu. The turkey neck was seasoned perfectly, gumbo had great consistency, wings were the perfect size, crawfish was fresh, and everything was just finger licking good. My husband went to get crawfish from there. It tastes ok. The potatoes, and corn WAS NOT GOOD. They didn't have any seasoning on the potatoes. And they were very hard. 1st try and we were very satisfied. Oyster poboy had a good amount of nicely fried oyster, dressed & French bread perfect. That opinion is from a picky oyster poboy eater. I love this place! There chicken wings are fried to perfection not greasy and great flavor in the batter. The shrimp fried rice is great ratio of shrimp to rice and not over whelming with a bunch of onions which is a plus for me. Stopped in for Easter weekend crawfish, I was picking up for a few members of the family , we bought 25 lbs and the lovely girl that waited on me had no problem putting different quantities in three different bags ( plus sides.. potatoes, corn sausage) she also double bagged all three orders and supplied a cardboard box to put them in to protect the floorboards. I've visited this location several times, due to convenience alone. I've tried several items on the menu including the boudin, gumbo, and fried seafood platter. The boudin was extremely dry (not edible), gumbo bland, and fried seafood not fresh, but I finally found something that was worth buying. The boiled crawfish! It's really good but often sold cold. I never mentioned it before because the owner is NOT the most respectful guy, but after getting cold crawfish for the third time, I politely asked him when the next batch (fresh and hot) would be ready. He told me "whenever it's ready" while throwing the bag and telling me to take the cold crawfish or get out. I chose the latter. His response was unnecessarily aggressive. The poor customer service is not worth the tasty, but cold crawfish. I've seen first-hand his offensive treatment of other customers. I should have stopped going for that reason. Lesson learned!
