My husband and I just moved to the area from California, so when it came time to start working on…read moresome renovations at our new place, I had no idea where to go to dispose of an alarming amount of cement. Both FB and my neighbor recommended Sarnago & Sons for our disposal purposes, as we would be able to rent a dumpster to make the process easier. Before we rented the dumpster, we made a few runs to the yard with our trailer. If not for the amount of concrete we're going to have to get rid of, I'd continue doing so, because the guys who work in the front office are extremely helpful and quite funny. We have since rented a 20-yd roll-off dumpster, at $178 for 15 days. After those 15 days, the price is $5 a day. Additionally, if you need material (such as road base, fill dirt, shells, sand, etc), you can order a delivery that they'll bring with your dumpster for free. Had our project been further along, that's what we would have done. Be aware that Sarnago & Sons only sells material by the ton, so measure carefully. The ONLY complaint I have, and it's a minor one, is that my dumpster was delivered early. I called on Tuesday and was told that the roll-off wouldn't be ready on Wednesday, but they could deliver in the morning on Thursday. I agreed, processed the reservation, and confirmed Thursday. There was a small amount of confusion on Joe's part ("the roll-off guy") about the days and dates, but it happens to everyone. After a long week, Friday finally comes and you're bummed to realize it's only Thursday. Joe also took my contact info so that the driver could call me on his way, which would be helpful on a narrow residential street early in the morning. So, like I said, dumpster came early, on a Wednesday afternoon (with no warning call) instead of Thursday morning. But really, I don't count that against anyone. It allowed my husband, myself, and another set of helping hands to get started on our cleanup MUCH sooner. We're probably going to have to order another dumpster to complete this work, but I'll be happy to support a local business, especially one as helpful as Sarnago & Sons has been.

They called as they were on their way, they were on time and their 2 moving guys, Bre-han and Riley were professional from the moment they step off the truck to the time they left. They wrapped up all the furniture securely and unwrapped it at the destination. They even made sure that the first item off the truck was my dad's easy chair so he had a place to sit while they moved the rest of his stuff in. Who does that anymore? We packed but they do that also and the truck fee you pay includes the packing materials such as blankets and shrink wrap you just pay for the time. They took a lot of care with my items which included some fragile pieces. The thing that I noticed was there was no wasted time, no breaks, every trip was a full elevator, just good time management which I appreciated because it saved me money.

The first issue was that the worker was cutting the tiles with his heavy machinery on the front…read morewalkway. I told him this wasn't permitted, and that he should be doing it downstairs. I offered use of the lanai, as I just had an outlet installed (one thing that did go well.) Instead, after walking away and subsequently returning, I discovered that he brought the saw into the bathroom, and since there was no outlet installed in the bathroom yet he decided to move my bureau and use the outlet behind. At one point I saw him taping up the drawers with blue tape, as he said the drawers were opening when he moved the bureau. Again I told him to bring it out to the lanai, but he said he was almost done and I let him finish. The bureau has sticky tape on it that will need to be corrected. Someone had to come back two additional times to fix problems with the tiles and the grouting. From a company who did terrific work with my kitchen two years ago, this project was a total disaster. If I had another 30K I would have someone rip out the entire thing and start over.
