    "Let's Get Moving" A COMPANY BUILT ON PROFESSIONALISM A slogan far from reality. I used this company in 2010, and I had a great experience. However, my most recent experience, from beginning to end, was very, very disappointing. I was moving from a large two-story house with a lot of heavy furniture and a big kitchen filled with cabinets. After the manager of "Let's Get Moving" assessed the contents of my house, he determined that two days would be needed. The first day (Monday), two movers arrived to pack up dishes, books and the wine cabinet. They left around 4 PM with much packing still needed to be done. The second day (Tuesday) started with four movers arriving. Everything was very hectic, and I was told very early on that they would not have enough time to move the things that needed to be moved. "Let's Get Moving" worked until 10:00 PM, but, my new house was left very unorganized with furniture and boxes sitting in the garage and scattered throughout the house. My old house (distance 13.5 miles) was not empty at this time. In the process of trying to get things moved quickly, "LET'S GET MOVING" damaged a lot of furniture, they damaged pictures that were not wrapped correctly, and the roof and windows from a 58-year old historic car (Austin Healey) were not wrapped at all. They also left nicks and scrapes on the walls of my new house and scratches on the wood floors at both houses. On Wednesday, only one person showed up to finish the job. He said he could not move the remainder of items by himself and that there was NO ONE else who could help him. I called the manager on Thursday to ask when they would be able to finish the job. I was told that "Let's Get Moving" was too busy and they could finish the move in one week. I then had to hire a second moving company to get the furniture organized in my new house and to move and organize all of the heavy boxes that were left in my garage. We were promised that Matt, the owner of "Let's Get Moving," would to stop by to check out the damage. This still hasn't happened. "Let's Get Moving" says they are A COMPANY BUILT ON PROFESSIONALISM. Does this sound like professionalism to you?

They send you emails that either never make it to your inbox or never actually get sent. Email is NOT a proper form of communication for 1 sided decisions. They raise your rates higher and higher and force you to switch to smaller units then charge you MORE then the larger units. And you pay a $10 transfer fee??? Because why. I've NEVER had this issue with any other storage unit in my LIFE. Some increase by 10% after 6 months some its a year but never in my life have I seen a company this GREEDY and PREDITORY. DO NOT PUT ON AUTO CHARGES THAT'S HOW THEY GET YOU. A $90 increase for a unit that is currently less at FULL PRICE on their website. Do NOT trust the good reviews the staff ask you to leave them when you first get there. There are many others like me with the same issue. They are no better then thugs who shake you down.
