Just about every mover I worked with in past had to rent a U-Haul for the move and that usually cost me extra. Their prices were much better than some of the other local movers. To preface I have MS and get fatigued and have weakness amongst other things. I did speak with someone in regard to my issue and he offered the day of moving to resend a mover back, however at this point it was after 4 in the afternoon. So I declined as I was already exhausted that day and I didn't want to have to make someone come back out. They did NOT do a walkthrough with me as they are required to do and they also provide you with wardrobe boxes. These boxes are huge. They used one for hanging clothes and instead of asking me about the other boxes( i cannot remember off hand how many total) they proceeded to use those boxes to load other boxes and bags into them to make it easier for themselves instead of asking me what i would like to use them for. I paid almost $1000 for 5 hours of them using me and I will never have use them again nor recommend them. All companies knew I had multiple sclerosis and that I had issues with moving. A refund of some of the money would have been a nice option considering the toll it took on me and the 20 hours in had to put in myself. I also would like to say i drive an SUV and had to fill it multiple times. That's extra mileage and gas. They took their time (they were getting paid) and did not seem to care. Terrible terrible service. The next day I my friend was so upset after seeing all they left behind and called himself and the boss sided w the movers. Refund me some of the cost would have been a nice option considering all of the chaos they caused.

Instead of hesitating or making it an issue, Mark and Doc immediately stepped in and carried it up 14+ flights of stairs. No complaints, no hesitation, just an incredible work ethic. I called the owner and basically he was trying to figure out the appointment, then admitted that there was a mistake and they were going to send the crew. We waited for a couple of hours and didn't get a call or respond. When I called again, he said he could send someone later afternoon or give me a discount if I want to reschedule for a day after. Thankfully I wasn't time-rushed so I pushed back. What really bothered me was that the owner gave me an excuse after all this saying that his brother tried to give me a call the day before and it went to the voicemail; when I actually received no phone calls the day before whatsoever. I would have been okay with a simple apology and discount that was offered but that excuse totally gave it away. The next day, the movers came and they were professional and did a great job.
