They were hired to transport a puppy by seller (not me) from north Florida to South Florida. I had already paid for the puppy. The morning of the delivery I was informed that there would be a refundable "rental" of an air conditioned dog crate. This charge would be $600 for which I was to get $588 upon delivery. Within 5 minutes of paying this I was informed that I now was required to pay $1000 for insurance for the trip of 9 hours. Since I had no previous notification of either of these charges I refused the insurance. I was in the process of being SCAMMED by this company. Now, the next day they have not returned my money even though the dog crate was never used. The only time I was able to speak to anyone I was laughed at by two brothers (assumed owners). I reached out to the owner of Fast moves. I had a conversation with the owner about the things that I needed. That went pretty well. When I try to do a follow up call, I got no answer. when I tried to reach out through email to follow up, I didn't receive a response. I decided to move forward with another moving company. I used Fast Moves for 2 moves. The first one went well, but the most recent one was horrific. One of the movers was rude and arrogant, and did not even cover my furniture. My neighbor said something to him about it and he called her a "fat cow". They only took half of my stuff and drove off, so it took us 5 trips back and forth to move the rest of the furniture and boxes. I was horrified and called Dave, who had them return to his house with my furniture and provided another mover. Dave admitted that this guy is nasty, but yet he continues to work for him. Dave offered to have someone else move the remaining furniture (for a cost) and send someone to clean the dirty furniture. I did not want to deal with Dave any longer, so I refused. We threatened to take him to court, so he offered us $150.00 refund, which we took because we could not deal with any more stress. This company is unprofessional, rude and I wouldn't recommend then to my worst enemy!!! read more

Just an FYI about my move on Saturday 12/19/2020. I ordered a truck a 2 men to move me from one location to just around the corner (less than a 1/4 mile). Anyway I was promised an 8:30 move start, (I even called to confirm), I called twice before noon to see what happen, Wesley told me a 9:12 am they were on the way ~ I called back in about an hour, no one answered the phone so I left a message. The owner ( Dave ) finally called me, to let me know that the truck was broke down and they would be there as soon as he could get a truck there. He apologized, they finally showed up at noon. They did an OK move, they didn't listen to what I was said where things were going. (I ended up hiring a guy to help me move things around the house). As, I have been getting things unpacked, I noticed that one of my lamps is missing (it is part of a set). We ( two friends and myself) have looked this house and the old house and cannot find it ( I paid $70 a piece) I like them. Anyway to make this long story, short! I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY TYPE OF A MOVE - WHEN IT IS ALL SAID AND DONE, I PAID $460 TO MOVE LATER THAN I WANTED ~ LOST A LAMP ($70.00) AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD KEEP ME INFORMED TO WHAT WAS GOING ON ~ DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY, NOT RELABLE. read more

I will start by saying I harbor a lot of the blame using a company that doesn't use contracts. First, they showed up 2 hours late and had I not called to check, I doubt I would've been notified. But here are the highlights: 1. They showed up with a truck too small and I had to pay for two trips, in spite of having much less stuff to move than I had gone over in the booking conversation. When I called the owner and told him of the situation and that I shouldn't have to at for 2 trips because he didn't plan correctly, he didn't care and gave me no break at all. 2. They hire criminals and expect to be robbed. 2 of the 3 men had police records and I only found that out after they stole 2 pieces of gold jewelry that was my father's who had just passed away 2 months earlier. They went into a drawer to get this. The police said 2 of them had records but couldn't go any further. 3. One of them was in my bathroom for over 15 minutes and I'm pretty sure was shooting up. On a VERY hot day, he had a long sleeved button down and a t-shirt on the entire time and never took it off. He looked very out it the moment he got here until the moment he left. 4. They broke A LOT of fragile items that were marked fragile. I had boxes for the garage upstairs in my loft and vice versa. Boxes were all very clearly labeled and they just stopped caring at one point. Wrong bedrooms, kitchen and garage items upstairs, etc. 5. Don't expect any help from the owner or manager. They simply didn't care. Period. When I called the manager to tell him I was robbed by his employees, he sarcastically said "you left jewelry in the drawer", as if I should expect to be robbed b doing so. The thing is, I had no good jewelry; all silver and costume. My father had just passed away and honestly forgot I had anything of value to even put away. 6. I was closing on my home the next morning and asked the owner to hold my check until I received the proceeds. He agreed. He deposited the check that night and overdrew my account. Think twice and then a third time before hiring this company. I have moved many times over the years and this was hands down, the absolute worst experience I ever had. read more

Some of these reviews are pretty sad, probably someone that loves being a d-bag to every person they meet. Anyways, I called around after everyone prior tried to make me pay an insane cost on moving 4 items.... 200ft to a new building with an elevator. I found fast moves and I got a straight price and paid that price. It was about half of what everyone else wanted. Dave was awesome, they had the lowest price and didn't b.s me. Guys showed up. Did the job in a hour, they called it in and went onto the next job. Also the condo buildings where I live have an insane elevator policy where as if even a dent or scratch gets on it they charge me $500 they take photos before and after. Personally they are very nice. Until you question price, performance, etc. I've hired them many times before but not these specific guys. Owner gave quote over the phone. I gave as much detail as I knew about what's being moved and the destination. I accepted the quote. Workers took their time. I'm emptying an apartment of mostly junk. No need to be delicate and fragile. I color coded everything. For 3 stops. They got the boxes mixed up so at each stop, they had to handle each box in order to unload appropriate items. And, the most expensive item is gone. Unaccounted for. In the end, they delivered a cargo van of boxes that were color coded for storage, not final destination. I've called and texted many times about my lamp and no response. They were late, got items loaded slowly, took long time to get to each stop, haggled the price - threatened to dump my remaining items on the ground and leave. Terrible experience. Next time I'll gladly pay more for actual professionals. Dave: retire already. read more

Said they would be here "between 12 and 1", but called at 1 saying "we're on our way, we'll be 45 minutes" - Strike one. They show up and tell me I was underquoted ((my fiancé and I already budgeted out the "worst case scenario" price)) and they tried to tack on another $200 to what we were previously told, trying to get us to take the offer, or they were leaving. At this point my fiancé called the manager, where he tacks on another $50 to what he previously told us. - Strike two We had to tell them twice over the phone, what exactly the job was, what needed to be moved, etc. They showed up "having no idea" about the washer and dryer ((which was told to them two times)), and commented about it being on the third floor ((which they also knew)). Obviously, no communication whatsoever between the management and the workers. - Strike three. Learned our lesson. Spare your time and money and take it elsewhere. read more

This was easily the worst move ever. They showed up three hours late to start. I was supposed to have two movers which is what I was paying for three showed up. It took 4 hours to move only furniture for a one bedroom apartment. Granted it was a third floor to third floor HOWEVER they did not drive anywhere!!! The building was the one right next door. Then, my mechanical bed was not plugged in correctly and Dave the owner had to send someone back out. How kind, right? Well... he came... and left because he couldn't find my building. One would think he would call me. But he couldn't because his phone fell off the back of his truck and broke and he didn't think to go back to the gate and call me and he didn't remember my address. So he went back and Dave called me and it took a lot of persuading to get him to send someone (the same guy with no phone) back. So he came and had to take my mattress off to look at the cords on my bed to find the guys didn't plug them in all the way. While that was going on, I saw that they tore my bed up in many places. When I addressed this with Dave his response was "well it doesn't show so it doesn't matter". I asked for his insurance information and he refused to give it to me to file a claim. I asked for the business address to send a demand letter and again he refused. While he said he refunded my cost of the move it does not begin to cover the cost of my $1100 bed. I told him to call Tempur Pedic to get the information himself that I provided him since he wants to debate it with me but all I got as a response was "I am done. Good luck with that". All the while while I had to call him to find his men both while they were late to the move and when his guy was trying to find his way to me to fix my bed later that evening, all Dave does is bad talk his workers. He calls them names and demeans their IQ's and size and abilities. This is not the way a business should be run nor would I ever want to work for someone who speaks about their workers this way. I could not believe what I was hearing on the other end of the phone. I was mortified and uncomfortable. While Dave tried to cut me a deal on the price of the move the quality of the work was less than adequate and I am speaking to an attorney to get the money I deserve for my bed. read more

Last minute move for a piano from Tampa to Palm harbor. Said it would take 3 hours, but it only took 1 hour and a half. they were delayed picking it up due to one of the guys cars breaking down. Dave called me to let me know and I relayed that to the sellers. Overall, great company. read more

Called them & told them I needed a 3 bedroom moved from a house that was already packed & moved to a storage. Quoted me $250 for 3hours. The guys get there & immediately started to debate,complain & question what they had to move. Got on the phone & called their boss. Told me they would give me 4hours for $300. So I said I really wanted all of the heavy stuff moved. They moved slowly & left in 3hours. Didn't move all of the heavy stuff. The truck they brought that was big enough to move a 3 bedroom was not even half full. They still charged me $300. They are a rip off!!! Lousy service lazy grown men & a lying boss!! read more

They did an excellent job moving me from my 3rd story apartment to my new 2nd story apartment. They showed up in the quoted window, were very fast and efficient, and great guys as well. The three who helped us were Nick, Bryson, and Trey. Nice guys, made the stress of the move much easier to handle. Knew what they were doing and I was surprised at how fast they loaded and unloaded the truck. Nothing was damaged either. I will be recommending this company to friends now who need to move. When I called to schedule the movers I was quoted a price based on 3 guys with a 20 ft truck. I was told it should only take two hours since it was simply packing and unpacking the truck and it it took longer I would not be charged any more than the three hour rate regardless of how long it took after that. On the day of the move they showed up 40 minutes late with only two guys and a 14 foot truck. The movers complained the whole time they were loading the truck. They were able to load everything into one trip except for some equipment that they had brought. The new place was less than a half mile down the road. When we got to the new place, one of the guys told me that I was already over the original quote and the only way I could get the price I was quoted was if I "took care" of him and his partner. They basically held my stuff hostage until I agreed to pay them what they were asking. They continued to complain the whole time they were unloading. After they were done I still had to go back to the original site so that they could retrieve their equipment. Once I started to unpack I realized that they had damaged several items of my property including my couch and several boxes that were obviously dropped that were all fragile and most of the contents were broken. I tried to file a complaint with the company and have gotten no word back. Definitely not a company I would use again. read more
