The absolute worst moving company i've ever dealt with. The two men who arrived smelled of weed, which i looked past because i already paid $125 towards the deposit. the two men damaged my home, and left many marks, entered my fridge and took from my groceries, along with personal items such as my charger. i felt very uncomfortable with them and had to have family meet me at the TO location to make sure i'm safe. on top of this, they didn't pack anything with any packing tape, lining or anything and left scuffs on my couch. my new build home now had scratches in the plaster and on the walls. also with this, when checking out, one of the guys grabbed my arm and attempted to take pictures of my tattoos which i felt highly uncomfortable in the entire situation. when i got a call returned back from Prince the owner, he called me a liar and that none of what i have said is the truth, he also claimed i have no damages and to pay the remaining amount. avoid this company at all cost! he claims he will not help with any damages and that nothing will be done and he wants to be paid. In March on 2023 we used them the move our home. While the two guys did a good job, they broke a leg on my bookcase. I was not upset, these things happen. They assured me that the company would fix it and made the call to the office to report the issue. (The mover took all four legs of the bookcase saying that it was to make sure they had them so they could bring everything back for the repair. I was too tired to question it so I said okay.) I was told within the next week or two they would be back to fix it. That was last March 2023. I've been waiting to make a review in the hopes Mt. Zion would make things right, however they have not. I've called numerous times and was told the same story, the owners not in, but will call as soon as he returns. He did not. I've emailed numerous times to the owner and he did respond asking for pictures which I sent, but surprise, he ghosted me. I've spoken to my attorney and he suggested that I send them two letters, one regular mail and the other certified which I did, twice. I've asked them to make it right by either paying for the bookcase $400, or supplying me with their insurance information so I can make a claim against them. That was over two months ago and still they have not responded. I have reported them to the BBB and I will be taking the to small claims court. I'm sure the owner think we won't proceed with small claims, however now it's a matter of principals. It may only be $400, but to break someone's property then assure that it will be fixed and then to ghost them is egregious and totally unacceptable. I would never use this company again much less let them back into my house to repair the damaged item. I strongly suggest anyone needing movers to move on from this company and find someone else. As I said, I've waited almost a year to give them a chance to make it right. I am a little upset that I was charged an extra hour by them and I have refuted it to no avail. Plus the movers got lost on the way down and stopped for fuel all time I basically charged for. I also fed the movers twice which I wanted and chose to do but that time was still charged to me, which is kind of insane. The actual movers were nice guys, but the truck during the one-hour drive got drenched inside on a ton of our stuff. It broke our Roomba and water damaged other smaller less expensive things. They said they will not replace the Roomba because they don't know if it was working prior to the move. I didn't know I had to prove to them all my electronic household items worked. The water damage was due to the lack of the truck being insulated enough to withstand the rain again not my issue, they need to pay or replace or something. They also dropped just straight up dropped a dresser and a nightstand from a Dolley. It happens, the dresser they fixed onsite which is fine I guess, the nightstand they haven't done anything about and actually took it promising to replace it or something. So far nothing, just asking for a receipt for it, which we purchased years ago. The two guys were nice guys that did the move, young college kids basically. I heard one of them talk to the owner/ supervisor on the phone he sounded very sketchy, short, and rude I just could tell he was a shady character. He bad mouthed the scheduler which honestly I didn't care about his drama just wanted the move done. Prince and his crew damaged our furniture and wall in our new home, they also broke our lamp, jars, and carpet cleaner. In addition they broke a blind in our old home. My husband and I spoke with Prine about the damages but he brushed us off. My husband then reached out to Jessica who gave my husband an email to send pictures of our damages for a claim and so done. However we have been ignored ever since, they will not answer our calls, text, or email. I literally received the Red Carpet treatment :) Everyone listened to my requests and concerns throughout the move, which occurred over a 3-day period. I had a full service move which included packing, load/unload and furniture assembly. I'm retired military and have acquired a lot of big, heavy furniture. The four movers handled my move with ease. Hired movers to unload a u-haul. Two small teenagers arrived an hour late thinking they were loading their truck they drove to our home. (One was a girl, nothing against girls, but you don't send a teenage girl to unload furniture) Needless to say, I had to help move every heavy piece of furniture we own up a flight of stairs. I used them for an out of state move. I will just provide feedback based on my experience: 1. Inspect your items thoroughly prior to the movers leaving. I had many pieces of furniture that were either scratched or damaged during the move and did not notice until they left. 2. Most boxes were stored in my garage, at my request but after finally getting everything unpacked, I noticed my bike was missing. Reached out to them and was asked if "I gave the bike away", REALLY? Was also asked if I had video footage so we could find the "thief". LOL 3) They parked a large trailer in the middle of the front yard of my brand new home and because it rained on moving day, I had two large ruts in my lawn that needed to be replaced. Not what I expected for a move that cost me 7k. I do like to support small companies when I can, but...just do your research. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are complete RIPOFFS! The movers used my tools, the ADT man tools. They don't have drills to properly take apart your furniture in a timely manner yet the charge you by the hour. I moved less than 8 miles and to the movers from 11AM to 12 AM. Then took a 2 hour break to go complete another job. This company doesn't have a large enough truck to move your furniture in one trip. Rob (Manager) came out to my home to complete an estimate in person. He quoted me 5 hours at $1170, once they finished the bill came to $2200. The drivers broke items, Stained my drive way. The owners wife called me the next day cursing me out because her husband is not a genie to get the estimate right. The employees are so unprofessional. Save yourself the disappointment and stress and hire a real moving company that won't take advantage of women. Fantastic service!! The crew showed up and immediately started bringing in their supplies and began wrapping up all our furniture. They spared no material in protecting everything (see pics). They took great care in sorting and getting all our boxes and furniture securely stacked and packed. All around great service and a very friendly and personable crew. And a public apology to Prince for remaining calm and very professional when I had a meltdown on the phone. **BE CAREFUL** By far the worst experience I've had with movers. I was quoted an ESTIMATE of 3.5 hours. Now I know that is can go over. However it took them 7 HOURS. I have two broken dressers where they actually argued with me saying that they were like that previously. No. My dresser was brand NEW. A FULL BOX of broken glasses (wine, champagne, margarita glasses ect), they also ruined my mini fridge I purchased only 4 months ago. The headboard to my dresser along with the dresser (not the same as the other two). I was very DISRESPECTED by one of the movers. No apology was given. They had to rearrange the truck a total of three times which took at least 2.5 hours of the time I was charged. A fourth guy (Prince) had to come since we were behind schedule since the movers did NOT take direction of the person in charge. I was told by him that I would not be charged for his service. However when I called Shannon to report everything he STILL charged me $600!! I had bought a Groupon that included 2.5-3 hours. This is ridiculous! As I stated previously, this was by far the worst moving experience I had. I WILL NEVER RECCOMEND these movers. Not even to people I dislike. read more

Let me start by saying that two movers they sent were very sweet...however, they were very small teenagers. My husband and I just moved to the area- I'm pregnant and he had spinal surgery a year ago so we hired movers to unpack the uhaul trailer we drove at our new home at 6pm on 2/28/20. We got a text at 5:45 saying the movers would be there in 5 minutes. They didn't show up until 6:30 and when I called to ask where they were I was told "Um we left and went to get gas." A large uhaul truck arrived at our house and out stepped a young man who had to weight less than 120 lbs and a young lady. They had no idea they were only unpacking a small trailer- we are hoping we were not charged for them bringing this huge uhaul truck because that's not what we asked for. My husband ended up having to help unload the entire trailer and even ended up wearing some of their support straps to help the young man move ALL of the furniture. The young man dropped several items including a box of kitchen items which resulted in a broken serving plate as well as a $500 west elm night stand that he was carrying upside down and now has broken contents on the inside as well as a chip on the top surface the size of a dime. The young lady was very sweet but was carrying small items and loose pieces like shower curtain rods and trash cans filled with cleaning supplies- she didn't help at all with the heavy pieces. Now for the part we are the most upset about- OUR WALLS IN OUR BRAND NEW HOME! I could just cry. There are so many scratches on every single wall they passed by. Needless to say, my husband has been in a lot of back pain for helping with a move we PAID to have done for us, and he's spent the majority of our first weekend in our new home doing touch up painting on all of our walls. Lastly, they left a dolly here at our house and called Saturday night at almost 9pm asking if they could come get it. We were not at home so I told them they could come pick it up the next morning at 10am. I received 2 back to back phone calls at 8:45 and did not answer because that is not the time we agreed upon. We just moved across the state and were sleeping in, honestly. At 9:50 I went out to the garage and placed the dolly at the end of our drive way. By 2:00pm no one has come to pick it up so u text the number of the movers asking why no one had picked it up and received a message that said "we was too busy". read more

I had a terrible experience with "Mt. Zion" moving company! I had to cancel and find another mover last minute on Sunday which was very stressful because we had to close the house and move up north. Now I am fighting for a refund of $450 deposit that they didn't do anything. I agreed for a packing service for additional $100/hr and the owner (Chris) told me he would send 4 guys so that we could finish in half of the time. 2 guys came with no mask, walking around the house with shoes on for 45 mins and refused to wear a shoe cover I had for them. They didn't bring anything for packing-boxes, tapes, and were very rude! One of them even looked at my daughter in a wired way and talked to her. They were very rude and unprofessional. I called Chris a few times and nothing happened except the guys left without saying anything. I ended up cancelling the service. I think these guys were hired off the street.
