This food continues to hit the spot! Come hungry as the portions are generous. A half pound shrimp with corn, potatoes & sausage is sure to leave you feeling stuffed. The flavors are on point & the atmosphere & vibe is chill. Definitely with a visit. Parking lot across the street, lunch special m-f with reduced prices, bring a shot to add to their non alcoholic drinks & get a couple warm beignets to end a delicious meal!

The holy grail of Seafood boil spots! Walked in to celebrate a graduation and the place was empty, clean and inviting atmosphere, our host was so friendly that we ended up ordering all his recommendations and EVERYTHING was 10/10, house sauce medium spiced 4 lb combo with mussels, king crab, clams, calamari and shrimp was blissfully delicious! Raw oysters were fresh and their cocktail sauce is tasty! They make a fire garlic noodles that is a must have. Their lunch special fried calamari and fries are fried to crispy perfection. Their Shirley temple Cap lisun drink is wonderful, I especially like that it was not syrupy. Highly recommend. I am no longer a hook and reel fan.

came here for a mardi gras event i hosted! the staff was incredibly welcoming and organized. we were a loud group that was a lot to handle. we also made a big mess. $1 oysters were delish. decent size & cleaned well. id come back for these on a tuesday. only complaint was the shrimp poboy. i dont think this is the right sauce that they put on top, it threw off the whole sandwich. i also wish the shrimp batter had some spice in it. it was more salty if anything. the cajun and regular fries were good, but hard to tell the difference. we think one tasted sweet. buy one of these juices in a pouch! these are so sweet but fun to drink out of because they also light up. PS bring some rum to spike your drink. parking across the street in the paring deck is free after 7.

Exceptional. Delicious. We came in at about 6:30pm on a Tuesday (shout out to $1 oysters!). Two of us, we were seated and served right away. Miguel was so nice and friendly. Everything came out really good. I enjoyed every part of dinner. The garlic bread, the 2lb broil of shrimp, heads off, and lobster, house sauce with heat level hot (I'll be back for more) and the shrimp po boy with fries were all so delicious. The table and restaurant were nice, we were seated at a table that could've easily seated 4 so it was nice to have the space, especially because this place is byob so we had our drinks we put there. I did see the establishment also sells their own non alcoholic drinks that one can add their own personal taste to it. I will definitely be back soon !

Came here for a Mardi Gras Dinner and it was fabulous! Love the fact that you can bring your own Rum and mix it with the Capri-Sun pouches of juice they have -- very smart! I had the 2 piece boil -- lobster, shrimp, and sausage and some oysters that were at a $1 each, so I had too. I went with the mild sauce because I was informed it can get spicy, and I'd agree -- the heat level was perfect. They had great service, accommodated a table of 6, and I would definitely go back.

The Capt Loui sauce was amazing, just the right amount of heat. Got the snow crab, clams, calamari and shrimp. Along with the garlic noodles it was the perfect meal. Server was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Also BYOB, so the meal along with a bottle of sparkling wine was just lovely.

Food was great, service was good but our server was a little slow but she did come back a few times to apologize as she was pulled a few time to sing happy birthday to other patrons. We were charged $6 for a cup of sauce when asked for a side of sauce instead. The restaurant was split into different sections and had trees in the ceiling, something I never seen before. And the beignets were delicious!

I've been wanting to try this spot for awhile now and we finally had the chance. It's BYOB, we ordered the Mr Rich & Pina Colada and added or drink. Both were very good, a little sweet but tasty. I had the snow crab boil, the seasoned sauce (Cap't Louie) was really good but the crab wasn't seasoned. Hubby ate the Shrimp Po Boy and said it was good. Also I only had one small corn and one potato in the bag. The regular fries were bland and the calamari not so good. The waitress was very attentive though and we enjoyed the music selection. A cute little date night to just chat maybe and have a drink.

The place was packed, and we were with a baby, but luckily got a table pretty quickly. The menu has great combo options where you can mix crab, shrimp, lobster, and more--all in one. TBH, that's the way to go instead of ordering everything separately. We ordered two Combo F along with shrimp fried rice and Cajun chicken fried rice. Combo F comes with Snow crab legs (1/2 lb), lobster tail, shrimp (1/2 lb), Potatoes (2 pc), Corn (1/2) Now comes the fun part... The seafood arrives in a plastic bag with your choice of sauce (Cajun, Garlic Butter, lemon pepper, Old Bay, Island style). They shake it all up, and then it's on you to dive in. You're given gloves, crackers, and tools to break open crab legs and lobster shells. Basically It's messy--but its beautiful mess ..lol I started off all proper with gloves and tools, but after some point, I ditched the gloves because it was just easier to enjoy the food that way. The Cajun sauce was absolutely delicious--rich, spicy, and full of flavor. I even ordered plain rice just to mix it with the leftover gravy... and wow, that was a amazing. Highly recommend trying that! Everything is essentially boiled seafood tossed in sauce, so don't expect anything grilled or crispy--it's all about the flavors and experience. The fried rice was tasty too, though the rice itself was a bit on the harder side. This isn't just a meal--it's an experience. Perfect for going out with friends, getting messy, and enjoying good seafood together.

At a Thai spot, I expect to see Thai people. At a Mexican spot, I expect to see Mexicans. You get the picture. So at this Haitian restaurant, there are always Haitians enjoying the food -- which tells you everything you need to know. If you're looking for an upscale yet still authentic Haitian restaurant, this is it. No matter what you order, they always start you off with a soup that's hot, rich, and flavorful. I usually begin with the Haitian caviar and smoked fish empanadas, then move on to either the Saveur Creole goat or the red snapper -- always with extra gravy, because I can't resist pouring it over their black rice (don't judge me). I tried several different dishes that were very good. My favorite thing I ate was The Fried Chicken, Bacon and Cheddar Sandwich. My Chicken was hot and had a good coating on it which made it very crispy. It wasn't greasy, and had just the right seasonings. It was served on a french baguette with lettuce, tomato, pickles and a nice remoulade sauce I tried their Shrimp n Grits. The grits were creamy, and the shrimp had a nice spice but not too spicy. The twist was a wonderful accompaniment of Andouille sausage., which had a nice spice. This added another layer of flavor for an extra punch. The next thing I tried was the wings. There were several different kinds and boy were they good. Just the right amount of herbs and spices. The sauces was a bit messy being in a costume for the Halloween Party , but the flavors were outstanding.... The last thing I tried was The Jambalaya. The rice was moist and all the flavors came together to make a wonderful dish. Everyone was extremely happy and enjoyed all the food. I was full, or I would've tried more dishes. If you see TFQ Food Truck I would recommend giving them a try.

One thing that really bothered me was when our food had to be sent back. In any restaurant, if something is wrong and gets remade, customers should receive the full order back. Instead, she told us, "Well since you already took two to try, you only get four wings." That was completely unprofessional. On top of that, Samantha E kept turning around making remarks to her coworkers -- a dark skin girl with glasses and a Spanish girl with curly hair -- and they kept staring over at us while we were explaining our issue. Pluses: Black owned restaurant serving cultural staples, plus foods for people who don't want Southern. Ambiance featured soul music, and at one point was playing Shaft! I can dig it. You're not left wanting for food quantity or quality. Plenty of shrimp in the grits, for example. Server was very pleasant to talk to with a little Southern twang to her voice. Why not five stars: Flavor needs deepening. For example, in the South I'm used to seeing okra chopped and breaded before being fried. Maybe more oily that way, more carbs... but more flavor as a result. I had the pulled chicken mac, which was a bit smaller of a dish overall (a bit intentional on my part) - and while the cheese flavors run deep, the meat did not. Shrimp and grits, I took a quick sample of my friend's grits and... I bet you can guess my finding there. Still, a very nice change from the usual Northern selection of foods. I would not hesitate to say Sweet T's is authentic and a nice visit if you're in town. You'll be paying a pretty penny wherever you eat, so you can tag this one on your list.
