EVERYTHING YOU WANT AND MORE!!!!! We first visited water street a few months ago. We were tired of…read morethe resort food at GWL and couldn't endure another generic, fast food meal. We started looking up restaurants and Water Street popped up. When we pulled up, we weren't sure if we were at the right place. Based on the raving reviews, we expected a "flashy", fancy place. Instead it was so "unassuming." Upon walking in....it was just what we needed. It felt "home-y." The hostess greeted us with a warm smile and "welcome," along with some salt water taffy. Then we met our server Caden. He was outstanding!!!! He could tell we needed some good food and drinks and boy did he deliver. My husband and I took his recommendations and ordered the "banana old fashion" and crab crostini...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Then we met Cassie!!! She'd stopped by to see if our daughter (9) needed a refill. Her personality, hospitality, and attention was incredible. Between Caden and Cassie, we laughed so hard, quickly forgetting about the long day we'd had. Traveling often and coming from PA; good customer service is rare. So to find somewhere that makes us feel "right at home," is a blessing. My husband and daughter agreed, we had to come back. We returned yesterday for the second time but this time with our family (from ATL). We'd spoken (more like bragged) so much about our last experience, that they were just as excited as us to return. Once again, we saw our girl Cassie (who was just as amazing as the first time) and our server Jamie. Everything from the Chesapeake fondue, calamari, and cream of crab soup to the drinks and the double crab cakes (P.S they are huge...could barely eat one) were incredible. By the end of our meal, our family was just as impressed! Thank you Jamie and Cassie for such a unforgettable experience. We will be back again!!!

I had a wonderful experience dining here. We made reservations for an outside table at lunch. Since…read morewe were hungry for seafood, we ordered several things: 1/2 pound of shrimp, fresh grilled fish, crab hush puppies, raw oysters and clams. Everything was great. Probably my favorite things were the crab hush puppies, and the fresh fish, served with pineapple. The entrees came with two sides. Therefore, I tried four sides. The French fries and potato salad were really good. The fresh vegetables had onions in it. I am not a big onion fan. The coleslaw was good. Next time, I will order the fish, with just one side- the potato salad was very large. For an appetizer, I will get the clams again, and the crab hush puppies. Yelp was so helpful guiding me to the hush puppies. The chef prepared our food outstandingly. Coral was are very friendly server. A nice meal with an outstanding server and a view of the water made for an excellent day. The host and the people helping out to clear the table were very nice, also. The vibe at the restaurant was a tropical beach feeling. People were dressed casually, mostly in t-shirts.

We all had individual choices, we decided to bypass the 'all you can eat' menu! There are fried as well as the boil options! The staff were friendly and the service was attentive! Note: if one person in the group chooses the 'All you can eat menu', everyone must choose 'all you can eat as well'!

Instead of our server approaching us to explain that our time was ending, a teenager, who had not interacted with us at all during the meal, was sent over to abruptly drop the check on the table. For first‑time guests, this felt dismissive and unnecessarily abrupt. A simple, polite heads‑up from our waiter would have gone a long way. Clear communication and respectful interaction are part of good hospitality, especially when enforcing policies that guests may not be familiar with. The food was enjoyable, but the way the time limit was communicated needs improvement. Better manners, clearer communication, and a more professional approach would make the overall experience much more welcoming for new diners.

This place was a complete crowd pleaser: from the jump (more specifically, the shareable dragon…read morestyle wild shrimp) you could tell they emphasize balance, flavor and the WOW factor, which really can't be understated when the food delivers...that's what makes a place like this memorable. Plus, it's a hidden gem kind of place for us, since we're not from the area and it took a little digging. They have the reviews to get your interest, and the food lived up to the hype. We came here after a charity MS Walk held at the Iron Pigs stadium in Lehigh Valley, heading north on the way home to Bear Creek. My brother noted how close they are to Penn's Peak, and since I've never been, it looks like we have a great place to chill post-concert when I finally get myself to a show there. The cheesesteaks are a far cry from wiz-wit, but that's how you want it and the chopped pickles bring that hit of acid, not Phish-enduced. The chicken sandwich was enormous but you could still get a solid grip; incredible crunch, flavor that's just more than the hot honey heat, and a refreshing crisp from the lettuce on that buttery bun. The Bourbon Blackberry BBQ pork was on the sweeter side, but why the hell not; the meat was still savory, the cheddar was the right call and the slaw cut through it all. The mussels were a special for the day; elevated and so flavorful, they could have been on any big city menu.
