Difference here is when they screw up the cost is not a missed burrito for dinner, but an actual negative impact to your health!! Good luck trying to reach someone - they're "closed". Capsule is AWESOME! From the pharmacists to the couriers they use, everyone is so incredibly friendly and efficient. They let me know when my prescriptions are ready and they have never been late with a delivery. They even make sure to get me the best pricing on my meds. I'm so appreciative of this service I feel like I can't give it proper service. If you're not using Capsule, you really should be. Same day delivery has been a godsend for me and they did all the work for me. All I had to do was tell them what the meds were and where I was getting them from and they transferred all of them for me within a single day and I was able to get them ordered and delivered to me in the same day as well. They're always there to text any questions to and they're so responsive and helpful. I was using Amazon pharmacy for a while because of the Amazon discount and 2 day shipping, but this is by far BETTER. I am paying a little bit more than I was but, for same day order and delivery, I'll take it. I highly highly recommend this service to everybody. This has been life changing. read more

When I called the next morning, I heard excuses and no apologies. Today, there was a huge debacle too complicated to get into. This service is so seamless and convenient! After a virtual doctor's appointment I had online, my insurance company gave me the option to have my prescription delivered the same day-- at no additional cost. I then received a text from Capsule's concierge to choose a window that worked for me, and received my delivery with no problems (and in really cute packaging!). Capsule is San Diego's BEST pharmacy, hands down! It saves me gas money I would have to spend on driving to an actual pharmacy since they deliver your prescriptions to you for free - but most importantly - it helps me avoid the extra stress when I'm having a super busy day and don't have the time to drive somewhere to pick up my drugs. Capsule has their own mobile app to make it even easier to get your prescriptions. You can pay for your prescriptions through the app, schedule a time for it to be dropped off, and even add a note to your driver with instructions on where to go/where to leave your prescription when they get to your address. The bags that they deliver your prescriptions in are also very secure (and might I add cute), so you don't have to worry about anything falling out. My doctor has always had a seamless time communicating with them and I immediately get notified over text once my drugs are ready to be scheduled for drop off. I don't usually submit yelp reviews, but I have already recommended this pharmacy to numerous people, and I'm just surprised all residents of SD haven't already switched over to them. read more

You don't arrive at the pharmacy , stand in a long line only to find out that they haven't begun to fill your prescription. This service is unreal. Med-things usually stress me out due to all the moving parts, but this entire process was so easy and my prescription was delivered to my door within hours of me filling it. Corresponding with real people via text felt so much more personal than the typical drugstore experience. Everyone I chatted with was so kind, down to earth, and genuinely wanting to help! Ok CVS is quaking and Walgreens was found dead because this place is literally the best. Everyone I've ever spoken to, both over the phone and via text, has been so communicative and helpful. And the ability to text them directly and have different members of the team pick up the conversation is so efficient and pleasant. Derek in particular is exceptionally fantastic. I sent him one text before I boarded a flight, providing some context on a particular prescription, and by the time I landed later that day he had spoken to my doctor and my family's insurance and taken care of everything, all I had to do was pick a delivery time that worked for me. Jakki is also a joy to work with. She gave me a quick call, totally by her own fruition, to let me know she could move some coupons around to my benefit, then with my approval she took care of all of it and even accordingly updated the items that would be delivered in the time slot I had booked just a couple hours later that day. And she did all of that without any action at all from me. I cannot say it enough, this place is just fantastic. CVS should be scared. read more

I found it funny, not really, how a lot of these med delivery services have clients sending multiple messages, for there a.d.d. meds... always following up, never providing useful info.. Literally it stopped with this company. They're prompt, helpful, and have gone beyond "regular service" to insure my comfort. F*** this place. I'm in a lot of pain and need a prescription for an antibiotic for an infection. I received a notification that they were working on the prescription this morning at 8am and it would be ready for scheduling in 1-2 hours...and then nothing. I reached out to them multiple and they said they were looking into it....and then nothing. They stopped responding. Now they are closed and the customer service guy I spoke to says I have to wait 2 more agonizing days until they open on Monday. I guess I'll have to go to (and pay for) an UrgentCare to get a new prescription. F*** you guys, f*** you guys, f*** you guys. read more

I love Capsule! I used to spend 30 min to an hour waiting in a drive thru line at CVS to avoid bringing my young kids inside at the peak of covid. Switching prescriptions over was easy, you can text an actual person(!) through the app and scheduling and receiving deliveries has been a breeze. FREE delivery to my house is a total game changer for our household. And I had a telehealth visit recently and the doctor said she'd send a script. My doctor recommended Capsule. I had never heard of them but I looked them up online after I downloaded their app on my iPhone. They answered all my questions and got back to me on a timely manner. I was happy with Capsule pharmacy, and even promoted this pharmacy to friends. And suddenly they refused to fill my prescriptions with two different doctors (MD doctors). If you are using Telehealth which many people do in a pandemic...(and yes we are still in a pandemic), then don't even try to get your medications through them. Even if you were on those medications for a decade, they will not fill them, just because your doctor happen to do telehealth right now, which is not unlawful. Very disappointed. read more

Love Capsule! I'm a mom of a wild little 3 yr old boy and it was always a lot of work and extra stress to go to the pharmacy and wait in long lines. I dreaded every time I had to pick up my prescription. But Capsule has made it so easy with their delivery! They always have a lot of options for delivery windows and they even worked with me when I had travel to San Francisco for work. They make it happen no matter what my situation is and I have appreciated their flexibility every time. They are also super responsive on customer service which is HUGE.
