Outstanding Service and prices!!! I initially went there because they were kind enough to find me a specific generic medication, which Walgreens had stopped carrying. I live in Rogers Park and it is still worth the trip for the prices and attention to detail. It's owned by a young husband and wife and I believe they work VERY hard to offer stellar service. They also offer next day delivery at no charge. Just make sure you have your order in before noon. (Also, I imagine they have same day for customers who are not so far away.) I went to Walgreens out of necessity the other day to fill an RX. My W card expired that same day. They were not able to honor it. I will not be renewing the card because I wish to support this young couple's business and kind treatment of their customers, and even with the discount, Walgreens is not competitive! Last point, they close early on Saturdays and are closed on Sundays. But thyer go out o f their way to work around that by offering delivery etc. read more

Since moving to Chicago, there hasn't been another health related institution that I have valued more then Well Future Pharmacy. My old cat needs three heart meds daily, and WFP is able to compound all three into a liquid that tastes like chicken for him. This service apparently isn't provided at all compound pharmacies. On top of that, they have the best customer service I've ever dealt with. Every one on the phone is pleasant and helpful. Because this is a chronic health condition, my cat will need this medication for the rest of his life. I just moved to Chicago a few months ago and was very concerned about setting up all of my medical care in a new city. I have a disease that requires a great number of medications and all on different refill schedules. I am also in a wheelchair, so trying to coordinate with new doctors and pharmacists and just physically getting from one to the other seemed a very daunting task. I stopped into Well Future Pharmacy after an appointment in the area. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and seemed to truly care. I took an instant liking to them, but living many blocks further north and being in the wheelchair, I knew that with the number of times I need to have prescriptions refilled, I could never manage coming all the way down there every time. Kashal instantly assured me that distance was no trouble and that he would deliver my prescriptions as often as I needed them, free of charge. He also recommended a number of doctors and specialists in the area that might be helpful for my condition. Since then, they have been absolutely wonderful! They keep track of all my medications and give me a call to set up a delivery a few days before I run out of each one. They make medication management a dream! There is no way I'll ever be going to the CVS across the street as long as Well Future's around! read more

I always try to support small businesses, so it was a no-brainer to transfer my prescription to Well Future. From day one, the owners, Drs. Bhavi and Kushal, made a point to know me - I don't even have to say my name when I come in anymore - and they are very knowledgeable. (I got a massive migraine at work and didn't have my prescription meds, so I asked what else I could take after downing several Advil as a holdover, which did nothing! They gave me good advice, ensuring me I wasn't going to OD myself.) They take my insurance, and call to remind about refills. Overall, great little store. Appreciate mostly that I don't have to go down the street to Walgreens, where the service is generally rude/lacking. Highly recommend! Luckily, I haven't been sick enough (knock on wood!) to require the delivery service, but I'm sure I'll appreciate it if the time comes! read more

Great service! Even though I don't typically take any kind of prescription drugs, I was excited about this new, independent pharmacy coming into the South Loop. For better or worse, I got the opportunity to check it out when I was struck with a terrible bacterial sinus infection and diagnosed at the urgent care facility two doors down. They sent me to Well Future to fill my antibiotic prescription and the pharmacist and tech were friendly and helpful and the space is really nice and welcoming as well. They also give a discount for referrals from the urgent care center, which significantly helped me out because I have terrible, terrible insurance. That's definitely something a big box pharmacy can't help you out with--another reason to support small business owners who actually care about what they do. Best thing? When I called them to see what I could do about the antibiotic-induced nausea, the pharmacist made a recommendation, called my doctor for me and 5 minutes later had a new prescription ready for me. AND they delivered it free to my apartment! A very awesome perk when you aren't feeling well. Definitely hope they get support from other South Loopers and stick around. read more

Well Future is amazing. We've never had a relationship with our pharmacist before, and what a difference it makes! The owners drop off prescriptions, make sure you know all you need about your meds, and always go the extra mile. Once I called in a scrip they didn't have on hand, so they called around to all the other local pharmacies until they found one that had the medicine I needed. Another time I had requested a delivery. When 700p passed, I assumed it was coming the next day. Kushal showed up after 800p, very apologetic. He had forgotten to drop off my scrip, gone all the way home, remembered, went BACK to the pharmacy to get it, and delivered it to my door. Kushal and Bhavi know everyone in our family by name, asks about the health of our dogs (one old, one crazy, both Well Future patients), and were really sympathetic and concerned when my doc was handing me one medicine after another trying to cure my insomnia. They're really good people, and they actually care. You can't tell me your Walgreen's guy will do all of that for you. read more

I stopped in here after seeing the 'Pet Medications' sign on the door before my cat's appointment at South Loop Animal Hospital. I have a very hard time trying to get my cat to take medicine even in the form of treats, and thought this new pharmacy might have some advice. After stopping by South Loop Immediate Care and finding out I had a sinus infection I had some prescriptions to pick up. Typically I would drive over to CVS and drop it off but the doctor at South Loop Immediate Care told me to go two doors down to Well Future Pharmacy. I figured why not support a South Loop business and check it out. It was super quick and the pharmacist was very nice and helpful. I read that they have delivery too which is really cool. LOVE Well Future Pharmacy. My cat is on heart medication that I have compounded into a liquid. I have gotten his medicine from a few different pharmacies with varied results. The process that some pharmacies use turned out a medicine that was way too bitter and he would not take it (even with chicken flavoring added to it). After moving to Chicago, I needed to find somewhere that would compound his medicine the same way as the pharmacy I used back home. I called Well Future to explain the problem that I was having, and they were very helpful. They knew what I was talking about, and why some of his prescriptions had turned out too bitter, and explained that they knew how to make it so that this wouldn't be the case. Complete success! My cat takes his medication with total ease. Their prices are very competitive, the staff is extremely friendly, PLUS they offer free delivery! You really can't beat it. Even after moving up north, I still use them because they are so great! read more

My experience with Capsule was HORRIBLE! As an initial matter, it's significant to note that this review is not based on just one interaction - to the contrary, I gave Capsule FOUR chances before giving up and coming to the conclusion that Capsule absolutely does NOT deliver on ANY of the promises made in its practically non-stop commercials. The Capsule commercials all claim that you will receive your medications within 2 hours of submitting your prescription(s), but I never received my medications within 2 hours -- indeed, I never received my medications within 24 hours. In fact, my average wait time was 72 hours. In other words, it took Capsule 72 hours to fill prescriptions that had been electronically tendered directly to Capsule by my physician. And it's not as if my medications are unusual or uncommon - in fact, my medications are some of the most commonly prescribed drugs in the USA. Needless to say, the inexplicable delays contrasted markedly with Capsule's constant commercials boasting delivery within 2 hours. To make matters worse, the staff peppered me with fake, sticky, inappropriately affectionate ("dear" and "love") text messages to string me along before I finally got someone on the phone and when I did, he was inexplicably rude and insulting. I am so outraged by Capsule's horrible service, particularly in light of its slick commercials, that I was motivated to make a Yelp! account and post my first review of a business in order to warn others. I'm generally very patient and forgiving, but people need to be warned before they entrust this business with the medications that they need for their comfort and survival. read more

This is what a pharmacy should be. They are knowledgeable. They call to remind you when prescriptions are coming due. They talk to the doctors/hospital/insurance and resolve issues - quickly. They are, truly, exceptional and I opted out of the mail order prescription savings because in our case, the type of medication one of our family members takes has to be the exact same type (due to the inert ingredients affecting the effectiveness) and I seriously only trust this pharmacy to make sure that happens. As an added bonus they deliver but I will honestly stay with this pharmacy even if I move all the way across town and have to pick up my prescriptions myself. Absolutely the best of the best. And.. by the way... less expensive than the big chains which play the insurance billable game so well, they overcharge everyone - absolutely NOT the case with this pharmacy. read more

This place is such a neighborhood gem. Ive walked in with prescriptions and walked out 5 minutes later with it filled. They are a super friendly staff who really want to help their customers. They offer a lot of services that others don't, take insurance and have generics on hand. They offered me a lot of assistance in trying to figure out if a prescription I was given came in generic, which my doctor assured me it did. But i was getting the run around from my doctor and a different pharmacy and was going to have to pay $60 a month after insurance (instead of $10) When other places were saying they just didnt carry it, this pharmacy researched and found out that it was discontinued almost two years ago and even told me to have my doctor call them if they didnt believe me. They would set them straight! They are a great place! read more

I DO NOT recommend this pharmacy for anything. They have broken the law, broke our Hippa agreement and charged me for scripts I never asked for. The staff is incompetent and delivery guy has told me of some unsavory things happening. I stayed loyal for 3 years until all this began to happen.
