I am a kinesthetic and visual learner and they're willing and able to accommodate my learning style in the therapy. I haven't had physical therapy since 2003 and THIS is nothing like THAT was. Blows my mind how much physical therapy has improved between then and now. The location is super convenient, too.

I always feel like they listen to me and their advice gives results. I wish all my healthcare experiences were this good.

I went to see Mark Jamantoc and I couldn't recommend him enough! The healing program was transparent, easy to understand, and I was able to start running again after only a month of PT. Now, 6 months after "graduating" PT, I was able to race my 25k with 5,000ft elevation gain with no calf or achilles issues! It's not just about healing but he took the time to make me understand the ongoing workouts I needed to stay injury free. It wasn't just about me going to get finished with PT but it was about getting me back to where I needed to be as an athlete. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I wasn't there for my wrist, but for my thumb. She asked me a few questions before realizing she had the wrong patient's file. I went back in the waiting room. Five minutes later, another staff member took me into the exam room, and realized that she'd left my file in her office. These two interactions left me feeling a little disconcerted. From the very first visit, Justin Dalmacio made me feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. Justins level of knowledge and attention to detail is incredible. He didn't just treat the symptoms--he took the time to figure out the root of the problem and built a plan that actually worked. Every session felt purposeful, and I could feel real progress week by week. What stood out the most was how supportive and encouraging Justin Dalmacio was. He kept me motivated, explained everything clearly, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Thanks to Justin, my pain has improved dramatically, and I feel like I have my life back. If you're dealing with any kind of pain or injury, especially something as frustrating as neck pain, I highly recommend giving this place a chance. It was one of the best decisions I've made.

She helped me tremendously with a Vestibular and neck injury from a terrible fall at my job in August 2022. I suddenly had to pause my P.T. due to another health issue in December 2023 which I needed surgery for on February 27, 2024. I received a get-well card from the staff and Doniel, telling me to "call for an appointment when I am ready to come back for therapy." I visited my Surgeon on Tuesday 04/04/2024 and she gave me her approval to go back to P.T. for the sustained injuries that I am still dealing with. I called Capstone today to schedule my pre-approved, unused remaining visits. I spoke to Reagan, the LNI scheduler who was extremely rude, unprofessional, and very nonchalant about what I had just experienced with my surgery. Reagan demonstrated by her phone etiquette that she was too busy and did not care about getting me back on schedule for the pre-approved remaining visits. She was so insensitive, in fact she stated, "We already discharged you as one of our patients. You need to get a new referral from your doctor and LNI!" I had talked with my Vocational Counselor who works closely with patients and LNI, before I called Capstone, and she confirmed all I needed to do was call to set up 5 remaining visits. I asked Reagan who she reports to, and she said, "Riley" was her manager. I received a call about 45 minutes after speaking to Reagan from a "Riley Beard", who was very disinterested and aloof about my not being able to schedule my remaining appointments, she was the Client Relations Manager. I have never been treated with such lack of sensitivity or low regard for others' needs or troubles. Very dispassionate for being a "Client Relations Manager." She literally said, "Oh well!" when I told her I was going to report this to the owners of Capstone, write a review about this, and look for a new Physical Therapy Clinic! The only curious thing was Riley sounded exactly like Reagan! Roberta Reyes

I am a retired cop with 30 years of service. I definitely got a bit beat up on the job…read more Over the last two years I have had severe back pain and atrophy in my right leg, with numbness all the way to my foot and into my groin. I was told by an anesthesiologist treating me nerves in my lower back are being compressed. He did not say how. I have done PT, yoga and injections to no avail. I don't smoke, I am not overweight and I am in good shape otherwise. That said, my condition has progressively worsened. I was referred to Dr. Hoekema by the doctor who gave me injections in my back. As it turns out, Hoekema does not see people until he sees an MRI, even with a doctor's referral. I sent him the MRI I had just gotten. After waiting weeks, my Primary Care Physician contacted me and told me Hoekema would not see me because he did not think he could do anything for me. I got no consultation, no physical eval and most importantly...no explanation of what exactly is going on with my back and what to expect as I move forward. This is not my first rodeo when it comes to back issue back issues. I have been to three orthopedic surgeons over the years. They each examined me, reviewed MRIs with me, told me what the mechanical issues were and gave me their diagnosis and recommendations. Two times I avoided surgery and one I did not. Reviews of Hoekema make it seem like he is a bit of a jerk. Heck....the doctor who referred me implied he was. My experience (or lack thereof) with the good doctor does not do anything to contradict that. Frankly, someone needs to remind the good doctor he exists to care for patients. Shame on Peace Health for taking "care" out of Healthcare and thank you UW Med for giving me an appointment with a surgeon in a timely manner. Maybe I don't need surgery....maybe I do, but I expect the doctor there will tell me what exactly is going on with my back and recommend a path forward instead of just blowing me off.

I was expecting more. More hands on work and more interaction. What did I get? Verbal Education in my problem area for a large portion of my visit followed by handouts of the exercises I needed to do at home. Hands on was lackluster and limited. It wasn't until I went to a different therapist that I realized that leaving Bellingham Physical Therapy was a good decision for me. They immediately had me doing exercises followed by intramuscular stimulation and acupuncture. I feel that the focus on my problem and the efficient use of time was well worth the money spent.
