Not only does she have up to date training and recovery equipment, they are INVESTED in you and your goals! I'm training for a half and have been laid up with shin splints. I was going to drop out, but thought I'd reach out to Kerry. Now I'm on a running plan, a stretching plan, a biking plan....all the plans. Guys, I am now commuting to see her from Everett because I love her so much! Today she emailed me to check in! Check them! Go to their website! Can't say enough good things! I went to see Mark Jamantoc and I couldn't recommend him enough! The healing program was transparent, easy to understand, and I was able to start running again after only a month of PT. It's not just about healing but he took the time to make me understand the ongoing workouts I needed to stay injury free. It wasn't just about me going to get finished with PT but it was about getting me back to where I needed to be as an athlete. I would recommend this place to anyone!

'Don' was referred here by his doctor for treatment on his feet to help with severe dystonia that causes severe pain and that making it hard to even walk. His first visit was hopeful as his PT let him know he would be able to help and the first thing they would do is fit him for much needed orthotics. Next visit, PT gave him temporary orthotics and asked him to come back the next morning to receive the new ones that were being made. Next visit, examined his feet, applying pressure at specific areas that were supposed to relax his dystonic feet. When the PT was unsuccessful, he told Don that it was impossible that his feet continued to cramp and thought he was faking it. He then told him he would not be receiving orthotics because the temporary ones had not been as effective as he thought, stating, "There's no way I'm approving these to your insurance as I don't see them medically necessary." As he checked out they gave him a pamphlet on where to buy special orthotics on Amazon. He checked the website and these special orthotics don't even come out on the market for another 5 years. I will spare you the rest of this experience, including voicemails, etc., and Don's refusal to go back. Someone dealing with a neurological disorder that is physically debilitating and misunderstood disorder has a hard time with the social consequences everyday. If you don't have a clue what you are doing, don't blame your patient for your lack of understanding. It can have lasting effects on someone that isn't given a lot of hope.

I also now have the knowledge to allow me to perhaps avoid future issues. Easy, efficient scheduling and a well maintained and clean facility rounded out the experience. I am pain free now, and greatly appreciate the methods and kind manner of the folks at Capstone Physical Therapy in Fairhaven. I highly recommend them. This shouldn't be happening! I've just retuned from my 3rd session with Seth and my back pain is nearly gone. Seth's holistic approach to PT is unlike anyone's I've seen. He's got a Ph. D (he actually is a Dr. of PT). He is the kind of health care practitioner you want. He's informative. He explains everything he's doing and why you're in the condition you're in to begin with. He's like a chiropractor, massage therapist, personal trainer and PT in one. After my first session with Seth, I cancelled 3 booked appointments with my original therapist. I met Alex a couple of weeks after my trip and he figured out that it was an irritated hamstring that was pinching my sciatica nerve. He was very upfront about it taking probably 6 weeks to get better and he didn't try to push a lot of appointments on me. I've seen Physical Therapists before where they try to get you in multiple times a week, every week for months. I personally can't afford that, plus it seems like over kill. I like that Alex gave me my exercises and scheduled me out 2 weeks. That way it gives your body time to strengthen and heal from the exercises he gives you. I'm at the 5 week mark and I'm able to do 95% of everything I use to do. My knee still gets a little angry at very bent angles, but it's so close to being healed and way better than it was 5 weeks ago.
