Fresh baked Turkey

Everything went well with this sandwich shop. It's amazing from the food to the staff to the restaurant itself. This is hands down the best sandwich shop I have ever been too. Everything they serve is fresh and good. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Dallas and Kevin did a great job ! They had a full restaurant with people coming in constantly and they served everyone well and with a smile. Kudos to them. Nice Family atmosphere.

Five stars all the way! Sandwiches filled to overflowing & their buns/bread are always fresh & delicious. Tonight I ordered the "small cheesesteak" which was anything but small! Hubby had the 18" (yes 18"!) grilled Italian sub which looked like it could have fed four people! Both were fantastic! I like their online ordering which allows you to add & subtract ingredients as you wish. And the staff has never fouled an order up yet. Great little sandwich shop that is always on our takeout list!

Delicious! The Capristromy was amazing! Will definitely be back! The staff is very helpful and nice.

Turkey with sweet peppers and pickles

These are some delicious subs and salads. Their half salad, half sub combo is a great deal and you will be so full. I chose the BBQ chicken salad. I won't change a thing. There was plenty of dressing--didn't even use it all--good portion of chicken as well. The sub was good. It wasn't ordinary deli meat turkey, it was shredded. The pickles and sweet peppers I added really made the sandwich great. I think it would be a little too plain for me as it is on the menu. As far as I can tell, they don't offer different bread types like other sub shops. I do like their white bread but would also try wheat if they offer it in the future. In the past, I've ordered the grilled Italian, and didn't really like the flavors. But the original Italian sub was good. I look forward to trying more items on their menu, but my favorites so far are the Italian sub and the bbq chicken salad.

Omg. You guys I've wanted to check out this sandwich shop ever since driving past it a couple months back heading home from Tarpon springs. It's on the corner of Trinity and 54 so a bit out of the way for me but I'm going to have to work it in the rotation somehow. This sandwich was soooo freakin good! The bread was perfect. The temp was perfect. The flavor was perfect. The medium size was perfect. The brookie I had on the side was perfect. Sigh. Wish it were closer. My Husband raved about the Bobbie sandwich her ordered which was a turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce piled high. I had the impossible cheese steak. Never had such a good vegetarian sub. Ever. 5 stars. Check em out. Super clean inside as well!

From a different restaurant. But used to show what good bread looks like with a little bit of a crust.

The only reason I give a three instead of a four or possibly five is the bread. There, turkey sandwich was excellent. It was fresh turkey and the ingredients were amazing. The problem is their bread is really lousy. It feels like cheap thick, white bread with no real crust. If there bread was good, it would knock the sand out of the ballpark. The picture I'm posting is from another sub shop. It's kind of a sloppy tuna sub that was very good but look at the bread how it's not too thick and has a nice crust bread on their turkey sandwich would be amazing.

I really enjoyed the subs, especially the bread. We did to go, they weren't busy but it was after the lunch rush. Portions were huge, price point was average. I would go back to try other options. Give it a go!

Living in the Big Apple Delicatessen are a dime a dozen. I was curious about this place . I mean if its deli food I want to try it . So I did and I was kinda surprised. Let's get the particulars out the way . The staff and was very friendly and alive. The place seems to have good traffic which is typical for new spot . The prices were pretty good nothing crazy . The ambiance level is about an 8 pretty loud but not crazy . Family kinda place with a few tables and bar stools and outside seating . Now the sandwich I tried was the Turkey Cole.. it's a play of a Ruben sandwich one of my favourite's So the bread was really moist and fresh. Honestly I had more sauce and coleslaw than turkey it was drowned in mayo and Russian dressing . I give the sandwich a 7 out of 10 .. I've had better . But like always I will go back to try something to else . If you go please let me know which sandwich you ordered ? Please let me know ..

Watch out Jersey Mike's! There's a new sub in town. I've been waiting for a month for this place to open every since I saw the sign off of 54. They are located right by Chase Bank across from Aldi. Upon walking in, I was greeted, and offered some suggestions on the menu. I decided on the American Wagyu Roast Beef sandwich. Among the others I was recommended was the Grilled Italian, and the Homemade Meatball sub. Apparently they ground their own meat for the meatballs, so that will be what I'm going back for next time. Back to my sandwich. I ordered a small, which is comparable to a small at Jersey Mike's. It was a little more pricey at $11.99, and honestly I can't tell with my tastebuds wether it's worth the extra money for that particular sandwich. The Wagyu beef was fresh, as well as the tomatoes, which were ultra red, along with my lettuce and onions. I know Wagyu beef is expensive, and I'm sure that's what's driving the higher price over your average roast beef sub. But I couldn't really taste the difference compared to regular roast beef. Maybe if you eat the meat by itself you could, but in the sandwich I couldn't. I did however, appreciate the different spin on the daily staples of sandwich making. Supposedly their cheesesteak won some kind of Best Cheesesteak award in Vegas. Atmosphere was friendly, though the restaurant is slightly on the smaller side. There's not much room to sit, and it's a little bit cramped. I thought it was cool that if you leave a tip, they yell out "Tip In," and everyone yells "Thank You!" I would definitely recommend this place if you don't mind spending a little more than some of the other sandwich shops. I'll leave it up to you to decide if it's worth the extra money or not. For me, I'll definitely be back, and can whole-heartedly recommend this place.

Went around lunch time and this place was BUSY!! Still got my food in less than 10 minutes though. DEFINITELY a must try! I know we'll be going back. The cheesesteak was drool-worthy! My husband got the Wagyu Slaw Be Jo and loved it! I ate the chicken cheesesteak with sweet peppers and it was absolutely delicious! The staff was VERY friendly and bonus points for the little lollipop stand on the wall. I love any little perks for kids (and adults!). It shows they care and the little extra touch is nice. Will definitely be back to try more items off the menu. *we both dove in before I could take a good picture. I promise you it was great! UPDATE: I promise I'm going to eat my way through this menu. Haha ordered the Capastrami sandwich and a half size Balsamic chicken salad for lunch. Both were 10 stars!! Chefs kiss!

I should point out I do marketing for restaurants for a living. I HATE writing this review but I must be said. I hope it encourages this place to make changes because we need as many decent restaurants as possible. The young man at the counter with a beard doesn't say hello and didn't answer my questions with more than a grunt. I ordered ONE large cheesesteak 2 bags of chips & 1 large soda. $27. Ok. I had a small sandwich last time that was great. This time I paid $20 for a bread loaf with some meat & cheese. The photos are awful but you get the idea. We shared the sandwich and had it cut into pieces. Hardly any meat on one end and scarce on the other. When we left I laid the open pathetic "sandwich" on the counter and said "Gotta say for $20 that's f'ing ridiculous" the 2 people working looked at each other and said nothing. Not sorry. Not a word. I'll NEVER go back and I'm going to post this review everywhere. From the cashier with ZERO personality to the ripoff steakless cheesesteak to the silence from the employees. Horrible experience. Worst $27 I've spent in a long time.

In my book there are only a couple good sub shops around, Publix and Jersey Mikes. I would never eat at Subway, Arbys, BK, Mickey D's. But now that CAPRIOTTIS is in town the bulk of my sandwich purchases will be taking place here!! I used to live in Vegas and they had quite a few locations, I ate there constantly and never got tired of it or had any issues. You have to have the Bobbie, it is a sandwich homage to thanksgiving leftovers and it is phenomenal! Today I had the hand cut turkey and my God it brought back memories!! It was so good and reminded me so much of Vegas it literally brought tears to my eyes! I even saved a very small piece for my wife and she agreed it was exactly as it was in Vegas. I plan on working my way down the menu and having each and every sandwich in the next 30-45 days. Welcome to town Capriottis!!

Example of dry food, no peppers ect... worst sandwich ever

Example of dry homemade turkey sandwich. They should be embarrassed but instead rude.

I am a glutton for new things, new places and new adventures so off I went to find Joey's to the seldom driven far reaches of Gunn Hwy west. Past Van Dyke, past Lake Fern and coming to a rest near Ashley Lakes where urban development has spread its tendrils. Shock and Awe. As I entered a warm and fuzzy perception of exitement and recognition swelled in me. A small but concentrated area with authentic Italian products and "atmosfera italiana". From the nostalgic Big Apple crooners singing the italian-american classics, to the colorful displays, legitimate italian products, geniune italian butcher choices to fridges full of bona-fide pre-prepared italian food products the stank of authenticity permeated. The deli/meat area was packed with delectable choices and fresh assortments that any italian would be proud to put on his table. Even things like pre-wrapped bracciole (beef & pork), veal cutlets, homemade italian sausage, steaks and all the standards. I even took home some Korean BBQ Baby Back Ribs After my long and detailed perusal my attention my attention was drawn to the slender aisle leading to the other side of the store and what I thought would be shelfs of canned, bottled and dry package products. But behold, it was a small dining area with a wide variety of pizza by the slice or whole, sandwiches, hero's, salads and pasta's. A cornacopia of foods, all the italian masterpieces that the American-Italian community has to offer, and the place was packed with eager diners. I bought 4 slices for the road and was tempted to try other things but I already had nearly a $100 in products. Fresh Pecorino Romano to grate for my Carbonara, a gorgeous piece of guanciale, regular and hot italian sausage, the ribs and a package of spaghetti from Italy. The pizza was superb, different from any other in town, complex, delicious, thin crust with a proper char. The Korean ribs were excellent, a hint of spicy heat with an umami bbq sauce. Buying a whole pizza next time, plus I am already excited about returning. As soon as I finish makung my Carbonara and try the italian sausage, I will return for the beef bracciloe, some veal and some of the premade sauces. There is not a lot that gets me ranting these days, so when I tell you this place is amazing, you can take that to the bank. COME GET YA SOME!!
