As a frequent customer of the Oldsmar location, I had high hopes for this newest Green Market Cafe. It did NOT disappoint. The staff is friendly and efficient. Though masked, it was easy to feel their warmth and see smiling eyes. The place is clean, and tables are far apart to comply with social distancing guidelines. There are even tables and chairs outside. Before going in, menus are provided at a stand by the doors. We figured out what to have for lunch, entered and ordered. I got the Turkey and Brie sandwich on toasted multi-grain bread with butternut squash soup. My friend had one of the salads with strawberries and almonds. The food was fresh and delicious! We took half of our meals to go so that we could enjoy the complimentary coconut vanilla (for me) and lemon (for her) frozen yogurt. Each was a generous portion and filled up both of us. We ordered takeout over the weekend and were extremely underwhelmed. We ordered a kids cheese quesadilla, kids chicken and cheese bowl, honey chicken sandwich, and chicken burrito bowl. The chicken in the burrito bowl was chewy, and the kids didn't eat either of the meals. We won't be returning. read more

I've visited the Green Market Cafe in Oldsmar and like the fact Green Market offers deals each night of the week. I couldn't pass up their half off bowls from 3pm to 6pm daily. I ordered a caesar buffalo chicken bowl normally $10.99 for $5.87. The bowl I received was pretty large and filled me up. The buffalo chicken bowl features antibiotic free chicken, bacon bits, brown rice, parmesan cheese, diced tomato with caesar and buffalo sauce. What a great little gem that has popped up in the Trinity area. Really exceeded my expectations. Cute little shop, nice and accommodating employees, quick service. Food is fresh and made to order, it's Not just an advertisement, you can taste the freshness. They have sandwiches, wraps, salads, and bowls. Their proteins are antibiotic free and humanely raised, and you also have several options of beyond plant-based proteins. We tried the Florida wrap and the souvlaki wrap. Both were very good, fresh, and very satisfying. Generally I would be hungry shortly after, but I was very satisfied after this meal. I will definitely be back to try something different next time. Super excited that we have something like this in the Trinity area. You can order ahead for takeout or catering, or just come and place your order and have a seat. Chips come with your meal, but you also have the option of a balsamic cucumber salad which is a nice little chopped cucumber salad with some feta and a balsamic dressing. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, run by the owners themselves. This place serves up mindful meals, made fresh on the spot - it might take a bit, but it's worth it. Ordered the buffalo Caesar bowl with base of greens and quinoa. They forgot the quinoa, little to no greens, and drenched it in buffalo sauce and dressing. Literally so soggy, and disgusting. The first time I went there it was good and food came out on time but today was super sad. Mind you we were on lunch break. I don't know if they hired new crew or what but terrible fucking service. There were so many people waiting for their food. We ordered online and it took an hour to get our food. There were no cups for drinks either. The manager or someone should have approach us and offer comps or something. The girl at the register was on her phone no wonder why it took so long to get our orders. I asked for dressing on the side and they pour hella dressings on my salad. Its just a salad and sandwich for crying out loud! Shouldn't be that hard! We will never do there again. read more

The hummus was good but really small for $5.99. The pita was soft and fresh. The baklava was good but also really tiny! We did not care for the rice pudding at all. It tasted mushy to us. You are always heartily welcomed and often by name...and if my name was Norm...well you know how that greeting would go. Owner, Ryan, in NYC fashion, is bringing the melting pot of American regional favorites by inviting guests to share their favorite sandwiches so he and his family will not only replicate them but add them to their menu. From Chicago breaded steak, Boston roast beef, and Indiana pork tenderloin sandwiches along with their classic diner menu items, Rye Street is a travel guide of classic American dining. From savory to sweet, your tastebuds will enjoy the ride. Which brings me to this post on the Chicago breaded steak sandwich. When I saw their video on the prep for this sandwich I knew I was in. Hadn't had a breaded steak "san" in many years and it did not disappoint. Paper thin steak is breaded and quickly fried, with several pieces nested in a roll with marinara and melted mozzarella. So good, so good, so good! As always, I eat half and take home the rest for another meal and can say that a quick run in my air fryer and it was just as tasty the next day. I was so caught up with this sandwich that I forgot about the desserts that are now offered and it wasn't until I got home that I saw the image of the crumb cake. Came in today for a hot pretzel and bring home crumb cake and was offered up a free pickle at the counter as I placed my order. Just when I thought it couldn't get more NYC than I take a bite out of the crunchiest, garlicky, and juiciest pickle. It's like I reached in and took it out of a pickle barrel. Now, a garlic kissed pickle isn't for everyone, but this NJ gal was raised on them, and this was like home for me. Haven't had decent crumb cake since I was 12 and 60 years later, I find it at Rye Street Deli & Dogs. Took one look at these delectable sweets and new I was back in Englewood. Not gonna lie, I purchased three and hands down, it was everything I had hoped for. Truly, if you are looking for the original NJ/NY crumb cake, the kind where the vanilla cake is moist and then topped with a thick layer of brown sugar and cinnamon streusel. (I nearly laid down on the floor and screamed it was so damn good and glad I had two more left for tomorrow's breakfast and dinner dessert). Next on my tour of their menu will be the fried bologna sandwich.

I ordered there and waited for order to be filled...I live close by. By the time (2 min.) I got home the chicken was warm but rice and green beans were cold. Wings were warm. Loved the sauce on the wings but the portion of chicken and rice and green beans was not worth the price in my opinion. The store itself was very clean and they were very busy with to-go orders.
