Food is still good there but the services has been getting worse and worse over the past couple visits. Don't think I will be back again. In addition, my draft beer was really flat. I don't go here often since the 49ers aren't on much, and , well, that Seattle team...very disappointing, yes?! LOL But I will say there is not a better French Dip sandwich anywhere!. And the Fish n Chips are near awesome. Or is that O'Malleys? The service is tikitiboo, mate. Seating is fine and they also have a nice outdoor area where the waitresses visit frequently. Had a hard time deciding between three and four stars went with four because our waiter Nick was amazing and was very attentive. It may be that we chose the wrong pizza but the sauce is a little sweet, and the dough got a little soft as it sat between slices so not everyone in the group enjoyed the flavor. Like I said it might have been we chose the wrong Pizza so I went with four stars because our choice in Pizza shouldn't ding their rating. Worst customer service we ever experienced at a restaurant. The salad my wife ordered was rank and we had the server take it back. When we get the bill, the salad is still on the check. I figured over site and let server know. She said she wasn't taking it off because there was nothing wrong. I said I will not pay for it and she got manager. Manager says same thing and I said I refuse to pay. She says she is calling the cops. I said fine call them. She comes back a bit later and says she is taking the salad off the bill and for us not to come back. Outrageous way to run a business. The managers last name was Capone, so I assume it is a relative or owner. Unbelievable! read more

Great atmosphere, wish the pub was in my neighborhood instead of across town. The menu is crazy diverse, we really enjoy the Thai chicken salad, its big enough to split it in two and save some dough. The pizzas are tasty, fresh ingredients and scratch cooked food. Burgers are amazing as well. The have a ginormous tap list and always have a great selection of local brews on tap, typically 2-3 handles from Laughing Dog in Sandpoint, last time I was in there they had one handle from Ticksters in CDA, and two taps from Selkirk Abbey in Post Falls. Find me another pub thats clean, has great food and a wide variety of local and craft made beers--they have too many taps handles to count! read more

Very busy place, parking lot was full when I stopped with a friend for an early dinner. Good menu and we had a pizza that was delicious. Very attentive servers and a nice place to eat and visit with friends, noise level was good. Many, many beers and ciders to choose from on tap with a lot of local micros. First, when we walked in it took a minimum of five minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. Then, our server was so snotty that we decided we would rather walk across the street to get fast food than order something there. So we just left without ordering. So many people told is it was going to be amazing, but we were very letdown with how we were treated. I spoke with some friends about the experience and they said it's the Post Falls location and that we have to try the Coeur d'Alene location instead! Unfortunately, our experience was so bad that we won't be going back to either one. read more

This is a great place to watch any form of sports. Friendly servers and patrons with multiple TVs to ensure no one misses their preferred game. The food is typical American pub food but nothing spectacular. Beer selections are often well rounded and fresh. Service is hit or miss. read more

Pains me to write this, but I've had 3 bad experiences in a row now, so apparently something has changed with this location. I got my regular Tommy's pastrami a couple months ago and it just didn't taste right, like the meat had no flavor, then a few weeks ago I ordered the Philly cheese steak with the same problem, under seasoned... Lastly tonight I tried the Rajun Cajun, it was very dry and realized they forgot the mayo and the chicken was WAY overcooked, I figured at least the fries would be good as usual NOPE cooked to a hard little crisp... I've been to two of their three locations and I have not been disappointed either time. The staff at each one is friendly, the food is great, and we will definitely be returning. The Memphis pizza is delicious as are the spicy sweet wings. We've tried a couple of their other pizzas as well (I can't remember which at the moment) and they were delicious as well. The decor is fun to look at as well with old beer taps, baseball gloves, and signs everywhere. And you can't go wrong with a place that has an Idaho shaped Boston Red Sox sticker on the mirror behind the bar. Wicked awesome. read more

The Capone's in Coeur d'Alene is always excellent, and we came here to the Post Falls location for a family gathering. Service and most of what we ordered was great - typically I'm never disappointed. We did have a vegetarian with us...she ordered a Thai Chicken Pizza with the chicken on the side. To her surprise - after eating a piece she started finding bits of chicken on the pizza (Which would and did make her sick...so she mistakenly ate some, assuming that the chicken was appropriately removed as we ordered). Our server and the manager were great/responsive - evidently the cook made the Thai pizza with chicken on it...cooked it, then scrapped it off to a side dish. Not cool. Just be aware...if you need a non-meat order, be very explicit why you are ordering. We were comp'd for the pizza which was nice...but our guest still got sick at home. The manager addressed the issue with his cook as well. So all is good. We'll come back again...but a little more cautious this time. (Haven't seen this issue at the Coeur d'Alene location) read more

Went here tonight with my girlfriend. Sat here from 6:30 to 7:30 and didn't even get a water. We tried to get the attention of a server multiple times and got ignored for a full hour. I guess the worst part is that we watched 3 or 4 families sit down and get served within a few minutes of entering the restaurant. We finally just gave up and left after the hour. We took our business to GW Hunters where we were waited on immediately. I am usually very understanding, I work customer service, but this was really bad. read more

My first visit was a medium good experiences. Monday night, fairly busy with about six tables full and a handful of dudes at the bar. For their happy hour special - it was only two choices of drink specials (not that cheap) and no food specials which I thought was odd. Menu is extensive with lots of regular bar food - wings, fries, burgers, and pizza. I was told to spend the extra $3 for garlic fries which I did. They were hot and tasty, but awfully skimpy on the portions - especially when I saw how many "regular" fries my dinner mate got and the heaping amounts that came out with burgers at the next table. I had the ultimate cheeseburger which claimed to have 5 cheeses. If it did, I couldn't tell. Instead of slices or cheese on both sides of the burger, it appeared to have a couple of different colors of shredded cheese on the top. But the burger was juicy and tasty and the bun was a good chewy texture. My dinner mate got the "world famous" pastrami and said it was good. Her fries looked very old and brown - like they threw them back in the fryer to re-heat. I would have sent them back, but then I'm more picky :) Service? Well, its a bar really so don't expect much. Food came out quickly and then after one check-back - we were ignored despite having all the tables around us being serviced. Had to ask several times for drink refills - which I HATE to do. And why put our bill together? Are we a couple? No, two gals - so we had to ask for that as well. I would try them again and perhaps the pizza that is supposed to be so great. read more

I have gone to this Capone's several times a month for several years now and usually very good food and service . However yesterday I tried to call in an order at 4:15pm and wanted to pick it up at 4:45pm because I was driving from Spokane and was making a quick stop on the way . I was told I'd have to call back because they don't take pre orders. I said what do you mean pre order doesn't it take about that long to cook anyway, and the girl on the other end in a very snotty voice said do you want it sitting under a heat lamp . My answer was not really but I guess if that's what it takes so she excepted my order . When I got there I was treated like I had the plague . To top it off with in 1 hour of eating everyone in the house had a stomach ache and felt sick . Cant say its all related but just telling my story and wont be going back at least for awhile.
