One of my favorite restaurants in the Inland Northwest. This is simply the best bar food you will ever eat. I have eaten here dozens of times and I have never had a bar meal. Capones offers a "pizza" and "wing" of the month which both challenge the imagination and flavor palette, yet almost always deliver. The atmosphere on game night is energetic, but not dramatic (i.e. no swearing, fist fights, or other nonsense). The tap selection is immense, regularly rotates, and is heavy on northwest/local brews, particularly IPAs. Can't miss items: * The wings! Buffalo, Sweet Hot, and Honey Mustard are my own favs. * The pizza! A "Heart Blocker" or "Home Run" are classics, but the "Memphis" offers a unique change to a typical pizza. We love this place! Ever since we moved here 3 years ago, this has been our favorite place to hang out and get a great meal for a good price. The sandwiches, salads and chicken wings are favorites and the pizza "tastes" great. However, it is never fully cooked and is always soggy in the middle. You have to eat it with a fork because it's so mushy you cannot pick it up...no matter what size you order. I even order it well done and it still comes out soggy. Yes...I have sent them back two times and even spoke to the manager at the Hayden location about it but it's always the same no matter which location we go to. I'm pleading with management to do something about it. We will continue to be one of your most loyal repeat customers for everything else you serve but we will not order pizza unless someone figures out how to cook it! For bar food it's as good as it gets. They have more beers on tap than we had fingers and toes at the table. The table got boneless and regular wings and a couple of pizza's. Both type of wings were cooked perfectly and the sauce was well balanced. The pizza's are huge and the toppings are very high quality. The crust had a nice sweetness that you can only get by making the dough in-house. The service is top notch with drinks always topped off. Capone's has a fun and friendly (and sometimes noisy!) atmosphere with average / decent food and good service. Granted - I have only tried the Pizza Capone, wings, and a Black & Blue burger on my few visits here. I was not disappointed but also not overly impressed. This is a solid place with good pub-style food, good portion sizes, and good beer and beverage options. I would consider it to be middle-of-the road good. read more

This was a neat place. It was SUPER busy when we showed up for lunch. They did a great job of waiting on us with our larger party. We had 6 people and the food was up quickly. The decorations were a bit over the top, but it was fun to read them while we waited. I can see how this place would get old quickly, but it's new to me and still wonderful. read more

Three nights in town and three nights at Capones! First night was 4th street and the brooklyn with the garlic fries! Both great sandwiches 4th street might be a little better than the brooklyn but it just depends on your mood. We also enjoyed the hot fudge sundae for dessert. Share it because it's big. Second night we got the same server as the night before (Christian) she is awesome!! Husband got the special fish and chips(Garlic Fries)!! Christian said the Hawaiian burger was her favorite burger so that's what I ordered along with the garlic fries! The garlic fries are so good we did not get enough of them the night before. My husband is not big on fries and he can not get enough of these garlic fries the are amazing! The Hawaiian burger was the best burger I have had in a long time. We had to come back for the third night because Christian said the taco pizza was the best and considering other yelpers reviews we had to try it. We love tacos and we love pizza so how can you go wrong?! We were not dissappointed. Seems a little weird to have taco and pizza in one but it is truly great. Two great things in one meal! The homemade crust really sets the stage for a great pizza! For dessert we had the special cheesecake which I believe was lemon something it was everything I love about cheesecake and so much more! If you are in the area go eat at Capone's! If you love beer they have more beer on tap than they do tables as one of their shirts says. Great place. great food and great people! 5 stars for the homemade bread and for the best pizza we can find in the area. Thin crust, wood fire yumminess! Not beer drinkers but their selection was impressive! Now for the 3 star food. The pastrami sand was a joke... Mostly bread, little meat. The 5 cheese burger ordered medium was delivered well done and dry. We expected more from these sandwiches.... One of the best north idaho food picks - good for catching the game or catching up with friends over a beer. I recommend asking for the local brewery offerings, such as Selkirk's beers. Seat yourself, but after that you'll be getting good service! Great pizza, the Heartblocker is my favorite. The wings & garlic fries are also great. I should start off by saying they have really great food here. This is probably where the owner will stop reading, because this seems to be all they care about. It drives me crazy how they make you feel like it is a privilege to be their customer. Every time I go here I feel like they are nickel and dining me. They charge extra for ranch; if you split a pizza half and half they charge every half topping like a whole one; if you get a triple order of wings and want different flavors you have to order them as single orders. It is absolutely ridiculous. I wish they could make you feel like a valued customer with as good as the food is. I've worked in customer service and know you should always make the customer feel valued and the owners here are clueless in this arena. read more

Well, can't say enough about Capone's. We went twice last weekend because all I crave when it's snowy is beer and a burger or pizza, and they have ALL THREE! When they're slammed on the weekends service can be slow, but even with small children there's enough noise and activity that it's usually not a problem. read more

This was a Guy Fieri favorite. The wings were awesome!! The Ultimate Cheese Burger was fantastic and they don't joke around with the big homemade Patty. The hamburger bun was not your typical one, it was super soft and fresh and more like a roll. The pizza was saucy and tasty, and the dough was nice and soft! I'm a local businessman and I recently brought 15 friends and family members to dinner at Capone's. The food was good, but we were very disappointed with the service. Even though it was not very busy, it took forever to place our order, forever for the food to arrive and forever to get the check. Because of the size of our group, the check of course had an automatic gratuity of 18% added to the total. I personally spoke with our server. I explained though we were not happy with the service and I would like to pay a 10% gratuity instead of the 18%. He smirked and replied that it was a company policy to charge groups a gratuity of 18% and there was nothing he could do about it. His attitude was smug. If it were my employee treating one of my customers the way he treated me, I would have fired him on the spot. Needless to say, II didn't believe the employee and I won't be returning to Capone's anytime soon. read more

Was gifted a gift card to Capones for Christmas and decided to head here with my girlfriend for lunch today. The food was AMAZING. The burger was so tasty and the bacon I put on it was so high quality for a bar scene. The fry sauce was the best I've ever had. And my girlfriend got the Thai salad and it was so amazing I wish I could have it everyday. Not to mention their drinks are poured heavy and so yummy for such a great price! When we walked in, the two people working behind the bar just stood there staring at us before finally telling us we could sit anywhere. 5 mins later the woman behind the bar finally decided to tell the waitress to come take our orders. Went on Tuesday ordered Italiano sandwich. The sandwich is usually great, but this time Bread was like foam rubber and I could only Eat half. I usually take the other half home And eat it later. But that stale roll killed The sandwich. I also noticed if you order hot tea or ice tea, the waiter usually forgets spoon and sweetner. Hope they can overcome the problems. read more
