I should have moved on when he was two hours late for the initial quote and a no show before that. When he finally came to install the glass shower door on a Saturday he didn't have the doorknob. He said he would return on Monday but told me not to use the shower until he returned. Didn't show or call that Monday. Called him and he said he'd come Wednesday at 7pm. He didn't call or show. Called him, he said he'd come Friday at 9am. We called at 9:30 and he said he had to take his wife somewhere and he'd come at 1030. He showed at 1100. The skylight in my home broke hours before a major snow storm. Chahine came out an hour or so after my call, provided me with a quote on the spot and also sealed up the hole in my roof so we could make it through the storm. The skylight in my home is an old design, so when we had to pivot our approach, Chahine presented a few options and helped me weigh the pros/cons of each advising on what would be safest. A few days after my initial outreach, Chahine and his team arrived for the install. They were very respectful of my home wearing booties to protect my floor/carpets from snow. They also left their work area on the roof and in my home spotless. The skylight looks beautiful, and Chahine also offered to help us select a privacy film and install it a few days later. If you're looking for someone to do glass work in your home, stop scrolling and hire C Glass & Windows. You won't be disappointed. They are one of the best contractors I've hired in the DMV.

I'm happy with their work, quick response, and pricing…read more I submitted a request through Yelp for someone to fix a broken window on a rainy Friday afternoon. Yelp offers the option to send the request to multiple businesses, and that's great because it avoids having to call around. The problem is it can generate a flood of responses. The calls and messages started to pour in, just like the rain in our broken window. Several people responded they could make it on Monday, while others told us they could happily be there earlier and just as happily charge us for "emergency response." Then I heard from Capital Glass. They could be here in an hour and only charge "Monday" prices. I happily agreed. I was dealing with incoming rain, a window that needed to be fixed sooner rather than later, and a bunch of incoming calls. With all that, I didn't bother to look at Capital Glass' Yelp rating. If I had, I probably wouldn't have used them because they had no reviews. I also would have missed out on repairing my window at a reasonable cost. They were at my house within the hour and quickly boarded the window. They removed the broken window frame and brought it back, with fresh glass installed, in a few days.

They try to make this appear like a large operation but it is a poorly run business. They gave me a quote for a window by the door and i accepted. After Alex and his partner showed up 3 hours late they hurried up to replace the window because they were behind. They made dents in all the trim and did a HORRIBLE CAULKING JOB. The caulk was thick and thin and not smoothed out at all. Alex said it will look better after drying. After the horrible caulking dried i called them back and said this wasn't acceptable I called the assistant lady back to get him to refix the caulk. She said he'd come out Monday next week and he never showed. I called her back again and she was acting frazzled that she couldn't get in touch with him (BS because they work hand in hand). He never came to fix the caulk and it looks horrible. The caulk is so messy and gives the front of the house a horrible appearance, along with the banged up and dented siding. Save your money and go with someone more affordable! There's only one dude doing these projects with a horrible hand for patience and quality work.
