Edited 4/3/21: Bilal was able to provide me proof of what was actually sent to me and apologized numerous times and offered to make it right by giving a discount on one last project we had left. They also took appropriate action to avoid this happening again in the future. He did a great job on installing and procuring blinds for our 9 windows. I've decided to edit my review and rate them 4 stars instead of 1 because things happen and they did try to make it right. Original review 3/20/21: YELPERS BEWARE!! It pains me to have to rate this company 1 star but after what I just experienced I wish that I could rate them negative stars. I've had them to do 2 jobs before, tile replacement and bathroom drywall and skylights wood frame replacement. Those jobs went well with the tile job being 4 stars because one of the broken tiles was missed and 5 star for the skylights because they look great and you would never know there was a leak. UNFORTUNATELY, that all changed and wish I could rate them negative stars after today. I got a quote for painting our house from them and it was low but the materials cost was too high so I decided to go with another company that was willing to meet my budget. Bilal reached out to discuss my budget to see if they could work with me. They agreed on my budget on Friday, March 12, 2021 and made an appointment for Saturday, March 20th at 8am. I canceled with the other company and went with them since I've used them before and like supporting great businesses. On Wednesday, March 17, 2021 I received a text message with a bunch of random letters and thought a kid must have his phone. On Friday, March 19, 2021 I messaged Bilal to confirm our painting appointment for the next morning and didn't receive a response. I messaged again that night on yelp and text and emailed but no response. Me and my husband stayed up all night until 3am and all week preparing our house for this appointment. We have 3 young kids that we made arrangements elsewhere for to make sure they could paint 3 days in a row as they requested in the text messages attached. On Saturday, March 20, 2021 no one ever arrived or called or messaged. I called Bilal and it went straight to voice mail numerous times. My phone kept saying my call was forwarded. I then decided to call using *67 and it rang and he answered. Low and behold they blocked me. Why would a company block a customer like that?!?! I've been calling all day long and it kept going to voicemail. Bilal then explained that they reran the numbers on Wednesday (5 days after the appointment was confirmed and 3 days before the appointment) and they were losing money so someone in the office text messaged me to cancel. TEXT not call for something so important? I told him I never received anything from them but gibberish alphabets in a message that looked like a toddler had his phone as seen attached. And this is something you CALL about, not text about. I told him I may have been able to increase my budget had someone spoken to me and at the very least not wasted my day away from my children just waiting around and rescheduled with the company I canceled with for them. An insult to injury is that he was on another job when I called when he was supposed to be at my house painting!! I had to go to home depot to see if anyone could take the job since I am on a timeline and my children are away for the weekend. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! WORST COMMUNICATION EVER!!! read more

I was redecorating a room in my parents' home and really wanted to put a big comfy leather recliner in the room. The problem was that the chair was no longer reclining well. Bilal came and after two visits and and an attempt to replace an outdated part, we came to an understanding that the chair is no longer a recliner, but a big comfy chair. Bilal moved the chair into the room upstairs and positioned it in the room. Although, we were not able to fix the chair, he fixed the curtain rods, a towel rack, and hung some pictures. I saw one review on here about how Bilal came and did a job poorly and then offered to come fix it and then up ghosting the customer and blocking their numbers. I saw all of the other good reviews and thought maybe it was a misunderstanding, boy was I wrong. Bilal came and stained my deck, he got stain all over the white railings but I didn't see until the next day when it was safe to step on the deck. He left the painters tape on the vinyl and it pretty much melted and I could not get it off. I reached out to Bilal to fix and also mentioned if it would be possible to get quoted for paint since he mentioned that was his main work. He was very nice at the time and came to give me a quote and said no matter what he will come out and fix the deck since it was from a previous job. He gave me a decent quote for the paint but I decided to go with a different contractor. Since then he blocked me and has not responded to my numerous attempts to contact him, even offering to pay him to come fix his mistake. BEWARE!!! DO NOT USE!!! Bilal was hired to install new range hood, backsplash, sub-panel breaker box (new circuit run) for new dryer (240V) and washer for my house. Before I hired Bilal, I did check with him and he confirmed he has someone in his team who is licensed to do electricity work. On 8/14 and 8/15, Bilal and his team came and performed the work. And his team member installed the sub-panel breaker box (as showed on the photo). When we tried to connect power to the dryer out he installed, the dryer kept showing error code. Bilal insisted on his guy did the right work on electricity work and asked me to check with the dryer manufacturer. I then connected with the dryer manufacturer, and a technician came and checked, found out that the new electricity circuit wirings are completely wrong and not to the code. The technician also told me that the circuit and outlet he installed will not support 240V appliance, and will definitely put our family and house in serious dangerous and fire hazard. Then I tried to connect to Bilal to ask if the person who installed the electricity breaker box and outlet is licensed and requested a fund on this incorrect and dangerous electricity work they performed. Bilal quickly replied to me on text message (see photos) that he admitted the circuit was installed improperly and wrongly and still said the person is licensed. I then asked him to provide me with his license copy to proof it if he hired someone by his company to perform electrical works, and then he stop replied to me and refused a refund. Apparently, Bilal is a liar and the person he hired to perform the electricity work at my house is not even licensed and I also checked with several licensed electricians later since I have to find a licensed electrician to redo the electricity work they did wrongly out of my pocket, they all told me that the person who installed the breaker box and electricity wirings does not have knowledge on electricity and no licensed electricians will make this fatal mistakes!!! Also, when Bilal and his team did the backsplash work at my kitchen, they did not use printer tape to protect my countertop and cabinets, not covers on the floors to protect the hardwood floors which results in lots of mortar and grouts on walls, countertops, cabinets and hardwood floors which are very difficult to be cleaned and removed. They also left the backsplash grout wet and asked me to clean the haze myself!!! The grout and tile works are awful. Some of the tiles are not properly grouted (no grouts on tiles) and there are lots of uneven cuts/edges on tiles, and grouts/mortar are put everywhere on the edge trims, walls, cabinets!!! Very messy!!! Also, they mistakenly cut a piece of a trim from my countertop without repairing and left (see photos). Very painful and bad experience I ever had!! So beware!! I wish I can give a negative star. read more

We had a date set for a job. Bilal never showed up and wouldn't return calls or texts.

Buyer Beware--Do Not Use. Bilal gave an in-person estimate to repair and paint one wall a week in advance, and when he arrived for the job a week later he said he should have inspected the wall better because he will have to plaster a patch. He proceeded to partially paint the wall getting green paint on the ceiling, adjacent wall, and baseboards even after using painters' tape. As he was packing up, he said he was doubling the cost due to the plaster issue. Since he could have told me this "new" price from the beginning, he was being unethical. I even reluctantly agreed to the new price and he was to come back the next day, but he didn't show up which wasted my time, and Bilal texted in the evening that he had a "family emergency." I told him his services were no longer needed and he was aggressive about getting his money which I did send at 50% even though he demanded more.
