The garage stayed noticeably cooler with the full ridge vent so yay! The job took 4-days, really 3.5-days with the first 0.5 being a crew who peeled off the old shakes the first day and some supply delivery. 2nd was delivering more supplies, checking for dry rot, replacing as needed, and starting the plywood, and waterproofing. 3rd was shingling and gutters (separate crews), 4th finishing everything up including painting the vents to match with the new roof. Very efficient and well cleaned up after.

Originally, we contacted them hoping to do a spot repair. What really impressed me was that Adam and his team refused to do it. They explained clearly that a spot repair would not be a real solution and would likely fail again. They could have easily taken our money, but instead they were honest and upfront about what actually made sense long term. That level of integrity is rare and immediately set them apart After walking us through the condition of our roof, they recommended replacing the entire section. At first, it felt like a bigger decision, but once everything was explained, it made complete sense. The tile roof was over 30 years old, and doing the job correctly meant addressing the full area rather than applying a temporary fix. We moved forward with their recommendations and are very glad we did.. It's also worth mentioning that NEMA Roofing Solutions is not the cheapest option and that's actually a good thing. You truly get what you pay for. You're paying for experiences, proper advice, quality materials, skilled workmanship, and a company that stands behind what they do. They focus on doing the job right, not cutting corners or offering quick fixes that don't last. The crew was professional, organized, and respectful of our property, and the job site was kept clean throughout the project. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Adam was always available to answer questions and explain the processes , which made the entire experience straightforward and stress-free. The finished roof looks great, and we also received a full warranty, which gave us peace of mind knowing the work is properly backed. Based on our experience, it's easy to see why NEMA Roofing Solutions has such a strong reputation. If you're looking for a roofing company that values honesty, quality, and long term solutions over cheap pricing, I highly recommend NEMA Roofing Solutions. We're extremely happyy with the result and would absolutely use them again!!!

Carlos came out and provided 2 different quotes, one for full replacement and another one for replacing only a portion to include upgrading all the vents. I wasn't expecting that but after consideration, I thought that was the best option. We scheduled the repair and they were prompt, professional, and clean. His team came out on time and worked like a machine to complete in one day. They cleaned up after they were done and then the foreman came out same day to inspect and perform quality control. Aside from saving me thousands on our options, I was very impressed with SoCal from start to finish. I would highly recommend their services.

I really wanted to give this company 5 stars because of Jose, the foreman. He was amazing to work with, attentative, and prompt. Salt of the earth! Carlos, the owner, was also amazing, prompt, straightforward, knowledgeable. They did an amazing job on my roof. Roof itself 5/5. No complaints. However, I do believe the job and the service itself is 3 stars. Not bad but not amazing. I ended up walking away from this experience just kind of meh but wanted to share my honest thoughts so it'll help others. That being said, there were a couple hiccups that happened along the way. No one contacted me prior to the day of my start date/roof removal. The office manager kind of chucked it as the person who supposed to let me know was out sick. They require someone be home to sign off on the work so not letting me know seemed off.. Not a peep about what time theyll be arriving, what to expect. Etc. Yes, they walk you through this process during quotation but thats about 4 to 6 weeks out before the actual day. They also didnt let me know which day or what time. I had to reach out myself multiple times. The team is quick but I also think their speed leaves them a bit careless. After they were done, I was left with a patched ceiling (beautifully patched but I feel like shouldn't have happened in the first place), kitchen/outdoor light that no longer works, loose recessed lighting,, and plumbing leak. They also let you know and disclose that things may break since theres pressure on the roof. Its in the contract but it highlights loose items and such... but realistically, not electrical going out or plumbing leaks based on what ive learned from others and neighbors. I also had my plumbing inspected and redone in September 2024. Now, im not saying they were at fault and that theyre to blame. It could just be my luck that it happened exactly on the day they were up on my roof after living here over a year. Also, very minor but there were trash left around that my inspector found. They were accomodating on making things right although they started to be a little short with me towards the end. I really considered referring them to other friends who needed their roofing done but not sure if my confidence is there if theyll be spending $$$ for an ok experience.

I call Cert-a-roof last week after the rains started and my ceiling was leaking. I scheduled an…read moreappointment for Them to come look at my roof and see where the leak is and I obviously need to get something repaired and probably an entire section of my roof re-done. I received an email confirmation and have been patiently waiting through all the rain this week. Almost a week later, after DAYS of rain, living with a tarp on my floor, moving furniture, and waiting for Monday, they call to cancel. I received a call today, a few days before the appointment, that we are out of their service area and it wouldn't be cost effective for them to come. First of all, this is extremely unprofessional....even a little restaurant or pizza place would determine if you are in their delivery area. They had my address at the time I made the appointment and it was included on my confirmation email. This would seem like a basic business practice to see if I am in their area and at the very least I would expect a call immediately to cancel and not after almost a week of waiting. At this point, I thought I had an appointment and someone would be able to repair my roof soon. If I had known they wouldn't do so I would have been calling other companies during this week if downpour. I feel that this is their fault/oversight and they should have honored the appointment and done some staff training for whomever answers the phone. I guess I probably dodged a bullet if they are only focused on how much money they are going to make and don't actually care about their customers.

They were punctual and patient with me as I missed our appointment time the first time. Irving was very kind and made another appointment for me. This is my first posting, but I felt obligated to warn others about my experience with this…read morecompany. Like they warn you about contractors, take the low estimate and double it. That's exactly what happened here. My estimate was around $23,000 but the final cost was over $45,000. They placed a lot of the cost as 'extra' but most of it became necessary. I chose this company based on their good reviews. But I think they prevented bad reviews. I would have gotten a 'discount' if I didn't write this review. The clause they added was: "As part of this agreement, both parties agree not to make, publish, or communicate any statements, whether written or oral, that could reasonably be construed as negative, defamatory, or disparaging toward the other party, including but not limited to statements made on review platforms, social media, or to third parties. This includes statements regarding the project, the services performed, or the resolution of this matter. This obligation applies indefinitely." It seemed pretty standard, so I guess I am not the first to get it. When they added over $6,000 to the estimate, I requested to be notified of any further changes. I heard nothing. But when I called to ask what was going on, I was told that the cost had increased to over $40,000. And I had to call to find out. When I asked to see the items I was being charged, I was told I should have gone up to roof and watched to verify what was actually being used. That response alone speaks volumes. My advice: be careful when you get an estimate from a company who doesn't have someone go on the roof. I thought using a drone was modern and efficient, but it can also be lazy and gives them no idea what needs to be done --adding costly surprises later.
