This house in the video could have been my house and it was almost the exact same issues I was having with my window wells. We bought our home about 2 years ago and have had nothing but issues with water in the basement. I mean ponds would form were fish are able to survive that's how much water we would get when it rained. After a really bad rain storm here in bensenville IL we went to the basement to find the walls had become babbling brooks and the basement was a mess. i had no Drains in my wells which caused the water to fill into the well surpassing my window blocks and all the water would flow over the windows into the basement. I called and Paul came out within a day and did a very thorough walk around of the property and gave a very detailed report of my wells and the work the work that needs to be done. He was very upfront with the work and was not pushy or pressing. Everything that needed to be done was in the report but was at my discretion. I have a total of 5 wells. 3 of the wells were actually replaced when I redid my patio and driveway, but still no drains. The other 2 were untouched as not part of the patio/driveway project. These were the wells causing me hell. Paul gave me an estimate for completely rebuilding my 2 wells that need it, along with adding drains in both wells. I also decided to have them service the other 3 wells to where they would clean it up add drainage rock, seal them properly along with adding 1 more drain in the back by the patio. They also installed a lager sump pump to handle the additional water that will now go into the drain from the 3 well drains installed. After getting the quote with the work that needed to be done, it was quite expensive, but was something we needed to do. The Real Seal offers financing which was great and literally took 3 minutes to get approved. Once approved I called and got set up for the project to be done that week. The team came on a friday at 730am. They left around 330pm. Never stopped working. The team was amazing and were very careful when walking in the house, as they needed access to the basement for the well drain pipes. That same night it absolutely poured all night long. Flooding was everywhere, but guess were it wasn't! MY BASEMENT! Two years and thousands of dollars spent at other companies trying to see if we needed cracks fixed in the wall and spending money on fans and shop vacs to clean the water and drainage pumps. It was the 1st time in 2 years I was excited to go down to my basement after a rain storm. Can't thank them enough!

The team was professional, explained the whole process clearly, and showed up right on time. They sealed the crack quickly and neatly. If you need any foundation or waterproofing work, I'd definitely recommend Real Seal.

Their tuckpointing…read morequote was one of the best we received but we ultimately chose them based on reviews of their responsiveness and willingness to come back for any repairs. And I'm now glad to say we made the right choice. I contacted Sergiy this week about some cracks appearing and he called me within 1 minute of my message being sent. He came by in the next 2 days for repairs, which he explained was cracking due to a harsh winter/high winds. Overall we're super happy with Active Masonry and will hire them for any other work we have

Not only was Sergiy responsive and polite, he also made sure to use the correct materials for our pre-1950s home. (Apparently there are different types of mortar! :) The quoting process was quick and easy, and my experience on the day they came to do the job was great! They were gentle with the pets that live nearby, nondisruptive, orderly (they tidied up before leaving), and extremely capable and detail-oriented with their work. I was pleasantly surprised by the time-efficiency and ease of invoice/payment. I've worked with a few contractors since we bought our first home and I can honestly say this business is a gem. I can't recommend Sergiy and his team enough. Thank you again!

But then they said that they never said that our basement would stop flooding after they did work to it. They were extremely aggressive and mean. Not just rude, but actually verbally, aggressive, and on the attack. I am a woman and was at home alone when their service man came out and he was yelling at me and frankly, I was pretty scared and uncomfortable having a grown man that is a stranger yell at me in my house. It was the worst experience I have had in a long time and they have already cost me all of my property tax money that I had to spend fixing the basement . Now I have to sell my house or I'll lose it. I lost so many thousands of dollars because my basement flooded after they told me that it wouldn't anymore. My roommate had had to move out and actually became homeless for a little while and had to live in a homeless shelter because her bedroom was in the basement. Luckily, she finally found a place to live. No help to Everseal. This was the first house I had lived in For more than a couple of years . I've lived here for over 11 years and now I have to move because everseal ripped me off and lied to me. Don't ever use this company. They will lie to you and not tell you everything. they will promise you would dry basement and then tell you that they never promised that and it wasn't their responsibility to make your basement dry. He told me I have water coming in from the sewer and seepage and that he's not gonna help me with either one of them and he's not gonna help me at all. I've never seen a more unprofessional company in my life. I can't believe he started yelling at me. I am a victim of violent crimes so that really scared me extra. Save yourself from the Horrible experience I had with them and go to somebody else. They are nothing but con artists and scammers. They will take many thousands of dollars from you and your basement will still flood.
