Poor quality. Terrible taste. Don't waste your money like I did. Pushy and convincing salespeople selling awful product.

The way that everything is laid out, makes absolute sense! It makes for a really good shopping experience. Think, Wegman's or Whole Foods, but on a smaller scale and much easier to navigate. The produce is wonderful, the flowers are lovely, and we've purchased a few cool speciality items, but I think my favorite part of this market is the bakery! Freshly baked/prepared, huge variety and everything I've tasted is delicious!!! The staff is courteous and friendly and they always have enough staff situated at the cash registers. Now, it can be a bit pricey, but I'll pay for quality, each and every time. If you're in the area, stop in and browse around. Pretty certain you'll find something you need!

I especially love the deli/butcher station. You can also taste different coffees. You can make your own peanut butter as well! I love that they have my favorite water here, Waiakea. I also like the different types of mushrooms that are available. Even the fact that they have ready made meals and meals for 2 are attractive buys for my family. There are quite a bit of offerings here. Fresh Market has delivery and pick up. Also, I would suggest to bring your own bags. I've gone on grocery dates here with my girlfriends lol! Definitely check them out.

Leave it up to me to visit the Crofton Farmers Market at the end of summer! Le Sigh! I actually…read moredidn't know about the Farmers Market until I spotted one of my favorite dessert shops are vendors at this location. So what did I do, planned to go first thing Saturday morning! Located at the Crofton Library parking lot, parking for the Market is onsite - front and back parking lot options, street parking and the church across the street provides parking. Open at 8am - noon and food trucks until 2pm on Saturday's, I saw any and everything you could imagine. Farm fresh produce, pies, goats milk soap, freshly pressed juices, speciality cookies and cupcakes, and EMPANADAS! We were like kids in a candy store, so clearly everything I just listed, we purchased. All of the vendors we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The Farmers Market opens in May and closes for the season in November. My top 3 vendors, Sugar Butter Love, DMV Empanadas, and the Goats Milk Soap vendor - sorry can't remember their name. All had quality options to purchase. The Market has a website to check out the vendors that will be on display, as well as social media pages. I was impressed and will absolutely be back! Note to the wise, bring a reusable bag or two to collect your purchased items. I even brought an insulated bag for my hot/cold items.

I've known about Crofton Depot for a while but just recently got a chance to stop in on my lunch…read morebreak, and I'm glad I did. So far I've tried the California Powerhouse and the Turkey Club, and both were stacked with fresh ingredients. The portions are solid, and you can tell they're not skimping on anything. The Powerhouse came on a Kaiser roll and the club on white bread, and both held up really well. I've gotten fries on the side each time. They're cooked well, but they come out unsalted and a little bland on their own. That said, once you add some ketchup, they're perfectly fine and do the job. Service has been quick both times I went. I stopped by around 11:30 during the week (Thursday and Friday), and there was no line either time. From ordering to getting my food was about 5 minutes total, so it's definitely a solid option for a quick lunch. The shop itself is very clean and welcoming, and the staff has been friendly and helpful on both visits. Ordering is simple, though I did notice some of the same sandwich names listed in different sections with different prices, which was a little confusing. I meant to ask about it but forgot. They have a wide selection of deli-style sandwiches (hot and cold), plus cheesesteaks and burgers, which I haven't tried yet. For a sandwich, fries, and a drink, it's been a little over $18, but with the portion sizes and quality, I think it's worth it. I'll definitely be back. I'm especially interested in trying their breakfast since this area doesn't have a lot of strong breakfast spots, so I'm curious to see how they compare.

The store itself isn't very large, but they really make the most with the space they were given, while still managing to not feel cramped. The have a small produce section full of really fresh items. The refrigerated/freezer section spans the right side of the store, and is filled with all kinds of goodies. They have a check cashing booth to the rear left of the store, not far from their meat section, where they have a bunch of different cuts on display. I found many items that my family uses regularly, and it's awesome to now have something in the area, in stead of having to run out to Laurel or New Carrolton to make special purchases. I really hope that people take the time to check this place out. This staff is friendly, and helpful. This market was much needed in this area. I will be patient as they work out any kinks, and hope to see them flourish in the years to come. Welcome to the neighborhood!

This is a great little market located right off of Route 3 in Crofton. I honestly can't say I know…read moreof another one around here, so it's nice to finally have one! (If others exist, they're well-kept secrets). The space inside is very bright! A lot of these very small markets can feel cramped and dim, but not so here. Due to the footprint of the store, it's not very large inside, and the aisles (if you can call them that) are small and cramped. But, they make good use of the space all the same, and with super-high ceilings, it FEELS a lot bigger inside than it probably is. They do have a fresh foods counter in the back, and they also offer fresh and frozen produce up front. I got a great haul, enough to make a fantastic salsa verde with some fresh tomatillos, jalepenos, lime, and cilantro. Yum! It went well with the frozen tostones! I'd like for this place to be a lot bigger than it is, but I can't complain. It's a really nice shop with helpful staff and a good selection of products considering the space available. It's well worth popping your head in and taking a look around!
