I love they are family owned

Got to PDX super early and this place is right by the C gates. It has a HUGE wine list and a great food menu as well. I had some rose and a bowl of their clam chowder and was not disappointed. My server, Cathy, was very attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. Would definitely recommend this place if you have some time to kill before your flight.

What is happening at PDX? Remember when prices were real world at eateries? They had a rule about it. Well capers is now charging over 17 dollars for 2 eggs, hash browns and toast. Or 17 for French toast. If you stroll around to MO's you save at least 5 for same meal and get bacon. Well I had to eat here at least once a year to see how it was going. Now I'm gone.

Great little spot! All airports should have a wine bar like this! We only had 30 minutes to kill and we were extremely happy we stopped in for a bite to eat and glass of wine. Awesome wine selection. Nice menu as well. We shared a cheese plate that included three types of cheese, nuts, dried fruit, quince paste, crackers and warm bread. Friendly wait staff. All and all a nice wine bar.

Stellar mimosas!

Cute lil wine bar waiting for you as soon as you exit the plane. Welcome to Portland!

Not only is the space itself cozy, intimate and beautifully decorated in rich colors and wallpaper and framed photos, the staff is so attentive and friendly! The experience is truly a treat. Here's what we ate, with my favs starred: - a vintage salad - crispy parmesan potatoes* - mushroom "meatballs"* - Bianca pizza* - Rouge pizza - lasagna* - tiramisu ice cream* We did have a larger group so it took us awhile to get each of the dishes out, so make sure you have plenty of time.

Date Night in Portland…read more Dame is a beautiful restaurant. We went here for dinner and it definitely felt like somewhere fancy that we try out if we were in SF. Mid Century Modern kinda feel to the inside which is right up my girls alley. The people who work here are super friendly and professional. When we got there we were greeted and sat right away since we had a reservation. I love trying something a little different. I've never had Carpaccio before and now after trying it at Dame, I'm totally a fan. Light texture but deep flavors due to the shaved fois gras and capers. The Focaccia was really good too. I gravitate to anything that has fennel in it so I might be a little biased. That and love bread just as much as I love potatoes. Potatoes are life after all. Heh When we went we ordered the Late Summer Risotto and the Pork Chop. I admittedly liked my girls dish just a little more than mine. It was super fally. Even though it didn't have any meat, I really enjoyed all the veggies bouncing off eachother in this pasta. I feel like some people think Risotto can get boring sometimes. A lot of times we see the same ole Mushroom Risotto a thousand times. Or maybe it's just a basic one paired with some other dish. I really like that Dame's had a lot of fun things going on within it. That being said don't get it twisted. The Pork Chop was still fire. I love the tenderness and flavors just on its own. I've never been a big polenta guy but Dame's again made me rethink my humanity. It was so creamy. What a nice alternative to the usual mashed potatoes. Salsa Verde is also a big go to when I eat Mexican Food so, paired with everything else we were definitely grubbin. Everything we had is flawless and it just makes it hard for me because pretty much every place we went to in Portland had great food. I can't wait to come back during a different season to try some more tasty meals here!
