Each enclosure there is high quality and fitting for a temporary stay for each of the animals in their care. They have a wide variety of products available, and my cashier Hailie was a joy to speak to. She was gorgeous, funny, great at her job, and kept me entertained for the short visit I had there. Im in this store all the time. Great selection of exotic reptiles, fish, invertebrates, and feeders. Lots of substrate and tanks as well. Employees are knowledgable on setup and care of all animals for sale. Animals in the store are taken care of very well, all are well fed and active. Highly recommend! read more

First time going here near Christmas I got a fish statue and it was $8 but rang up $50 cause it had the wrong sticker on it. Thank god I check my receipt in the car, cause no one checking me out did. So I had to go back in and wait 20 minutes while they resolved that. Then I went today June 7th to get wet cat food, we decided to get these 4 bigger cans I forgot the brand name but it's the biggest wet cat food cans I seen so I thought I'd see if my cats would like them, grabbed 4. Went to cashier, cashier said nothing to us for 10 minutes just literally kept huffing and puffing after she kept scanning that can. She tells me it won't show up and she can't sell it to us, I asked you can't manually type it in? She said no. Why is there always a label problem here? Last time even trying to come here that's absurd. And the cashier kept treating me like I was the problem HA. Also the line grew up to like 6 people while 2 other works were fucking around with customers they knew. Horrible service. And it sucks cause I've talked to the owner and they seem really really nice! But these kids really don't know how to run your store read more

I waited to be assisted for 10 minutes, then asked the lady running the register to be helped, and she said to find someone else and go back to the section where I came from but no one ever came, and she was just standing there at the register and easily could've helped me. very large selection of tarantulas! the largest I've seen in a pet store and not at an expo before! they also have pretty fair prices. I got my dream spider, a T. Stirmi here today for a really good price and so far he or she is very healthy and doing great! The spider also came with its own enclosure; which it will grow out of eventually but for a sling it's perfect! I walked around the store and looked at a bit of everything before choosing a tarantula and I really like their reptile displays! they remind me of the professional displays you see at aquariums and zoos! I did not see one animal that was being kept in an incorrect enclosure which is awesome and unfortunately not the standard for most pet stores. even their betta fish displays were ethical and well kept! its an hour drive for me but definitely worth it! They don't honor their stickered prices. I went in for fluval plant baskets and they had them listed at $5.99 but they rung up for $7.49. I showed the cashier the price listed and she said they don't have time to fix the stickers. Isn't that false advertising? And she didn't honor the price listed. This place is awesome. The staff were patient and full of information about thier animals. They work with my favorite cat rescue Heavenly Paws. The manager went out of her way to help us look for a lizard we are looking for and they put so much time into the care and practice of thier animals. I was amazed. My partner and I love it. They have awesome prices, and a great selection of products for all your animals. And not to mention Sheldon is an awesome tortise that just walks around the store. As a local business they are top notch and I HIGHLY recommend them over other big name chains including the one in Lancaster. read more

I'd never heard of this place before and it's so hidden if you weren't looking for it you'd never notice. It's much larger than expected on the inside and is a very friendly place. I went there and bought a reptile and all of the needed supplies and as I was checking out the manager even helped to suggest things to buy for my animal. Very helpful place and definitely going back there again. They take very good care of the animals and have a great knowledge of the animals that they have in the store. read more
